usually it resolves itself within a couple of minutes after watching the replay, but this one seems to persist and doesnt wanna update itself

They just pushed a patch today, likely people on different versions. I bet the GDS fix alone can change some results

I'm just confused why these ones aren't reverting, in the past while you're on most recent update and you watch replay and give it a bit it reverts, but not this time.

I don't want to think it's happening on purpose since the patch was just released yesterday and was not a forced update. However, if it goes on a few more days I would definitely feel more suspicious.
Especially with people who have been around for a bit without record yet. I know I had one last night, but the person is an active person on this discord and a good person from what I have seen of there actions.

This has been happening often enough to be annoying. Im guessing my strategy which relies on emp rng from corsairs plays a role in how often this happens?
Eons ago now I did test something in this space. If added max lines of fairly twitchy AI to all my rooms every single fight would desync without me doing anything to force it. Didn't seem to just be LONG AI, specifically twitch on all my rooms/crew caused it every single time. There was def something in it yeah

I do on occasion if I've been poor with attacks speed run them and just close and reopen the app, not trying to desync just speed things up. Aerendyl has confirmed the fight has fixed itself which is the only bit that matters imo.

On a similar note I did this battle before updating the client (I’m on iOS). I won the battle and it logged the win correctly. Updated client and now it shows as a loss. Replay shows a loss too. Guess it’s a client change issue.

Result shown differs from replay.
After reloading the App, the result was correctly set
And this morning, changed my ship hull, I had rooms all over the place, stacked and out of the ship layout.
I did not take any screenshot (sorry) and didn't try to PVP like that.
I could remove all the floating rooms without any issue

Result doesn't align. I know nothing will change tournament-wise, I'm just leaving it for whoever needs to investigate and needs data to evaluate.
After the fight with this player, I was counted as a loser. I won in the replay. The game version is the latest. Why is there no reaction to this player?
second engine tweak is an optional update, players probably staying on the old build with better engines which casues the desync

I had some from today where I lost but it changed to win after Kildare tweaked the engine stats

Initially the first defence showed as a win and thus didn't grant a long immunity which allowed me to be attacked again very soon after

Was told to post here from bug support. Lost 15 brick modules a few days ago. It wasn't the first time modules disappeared, but they usually return when I restart the game. However, this time, these 15 modules have not reappeared for a few days already. I have tried different devices, restarting the game, clearing cache, etc., but to no avail.

This is correct, as its part of our battle verification process. When you view the replay it notifies the server that there is an issue with the battle, which it would then run a review on our end and correct the result accordingly.

so we checked on your issue and it seems for some reason your battle finalization is missing important data, which was why we had to mark your battle as a loss
have no clue what that means. Are my stars going to be corrected? alAnd how do I prevent this from happening again?
The problem here that makes this complicated is that we don't know why your battle is missing the critical data. It should not be possible for client not to send those data unless something is wrong with the device or the user hacks it. There is a slight possibility that it may be a bug with the app itself but this doesn't happen to everyone and the code for this isn't that complicated to begin with.

The reason why your battle was marked as a loss to begin with was to prevent players from exploiting the system or hacking to prevent battle losses.
All desyncs are marked as losses. I get that.

@molten wagon I think there's been some misunderstanding from both sides here.
Hoping to help clarify - we are currently investigating why the data from these battles is incorrect. It is possible, even likely, that there is a bug preventing the data sent from your game from matching what we expect.
Kildare noted the intention to catch cheaters, but he is not insinuating that is the case here, at all. Sorry if it came across like that. Put simply:
- System wants to 'find anyone with a black hat'
- I expect to see people with black hats.
- You are wearing a red hat.
- System flags you.
This doesn't mean that you are at fault. You are not the black hat I am expecting to find. It means our system doesn't account for red hats, and needs to be fixed.
While we apologize for any frustration this has caused, it would really help us if you continue playing as normal, please. It will really help us to isolate and fix the cause of these problems ASAP.
So what do I do now? The next day already started. Do I need to hold off on attacking in the tournament till my stars get fixed? Or do I have to cut my losses and continue like I lost the fight?

I won this attack but lost Internet connection when the data was syncing. I reloaded the game when I got signal again and it shows as a loss. Please can this be fixed? He was worth 17 stars
I understand that you might tell me the same thing as Drewzith above but I can assure you that if we run this battle 100 times I'll win it every time. There's no ambiguity in the result to warrant a loss for missing data. Please help.

Curious question on missing data:
Is it something that could potentially be rerun or regenerated? It seems like if it's intermittent, maybe there could be some grace policy to rerun the battle or rebuild the result, especially if there's just some missing meta data or some such (but I also have no idea how complex the replay data might be)
What we've been told is the game will attempt to rerun the battle upon reloading. If this one fails, it's now an auto loss
This means it takes 2 issues with battle being resolved, in a row, to cause an auto loss
These should be fixed for you shortly 🙂
Actually the issue here is a bit different. In this case the battle was SUCCESSFULLY completed. The issue was that there was important data missing from the packet being sent to the server from the client. The battle only gets rerun if it was a force quit/disconnection.
Hey Drewzith, after discussion with the team, we've decided that we will fix the results of the invalid battles and add the lost stars, as the evidence does point to these battles being legitimate. I apologize for the upset and inconvenience caused previously.

This seems to be predominently happening to me when I attack these Hull 11-12 ships (lower than me) Does this mean something?
there might be some kind of pattern but i'm not sure how that could cause the bug from a technical perspective :/

the only thing i can think of is that there is some exception that is happening that doesn't cause the battle to error out. I think in the next update I may add something to this to better detect the issue
I would also like to remind the developers that if you close the battle window during an attack in tournament PVP, then information about the battle is not written in the logs. It simply does not exist. It is impossible to understand how many players you actually defeated in defense. Please resolve this issue.

Its weird how the last 2 weeks everything was fine and I had no pvp issues. But as soon as tourny starts I start getting the desyncs happening again.

Sais I lost connection, meanwhile, I have perfect connection. Immediately force restarts the game, and displays a loss to me
Tournament matches errors. I have some desync problems(502 as i remember), 1 win and 1 lost. But there are gone, no evidence in logs. But the attempts were removed from me.

Bug: Missing modules.
In summary, I lost 7 bricks due to bug. May I recover those items?
The bugs start around 630am Hong Kong time today (20250403).
In time order, there are 9bricks used in rooms, but bricks item shows 0(3).
Then I combined 3 sandbags into a bricks, items still shows 0(3), but I cannot use the new crafted brick, system saying “insufficient items”.
Then I try to remove some of the bricks from rooms. Some bricks are removed but item still shows 0(3).
Restart the game cannot solve the bug.
As capture below, after removing 4 bricks in room, there are still 5 bricks in room, but the item still shows 0(3).
Can you help recover the 7 missing bricks please?

I went into battle with two broken sandbags, broke in battle another two, but on damaged sandbags items only two first appeared, the two damaged in the last battle disappeared from the list and after I tried to remove them from the ship — they now stopped existing completely

I permanently lost two sandbags damaged in a battle (on a PvP battle with player iHUMAN earlier today). They disappeared from items, but were still visible in the rooms – and even movable. When trying to repair them by clicking on the room, an "some error" message appeared each time, and the game reloaded, which didn't help. I tried different approaches to get rid of the bug, including manual reload of the game and putting the damaged sandbags away from the board of the ship and also by playing another pvp battle where 1 of the remaining sandbags was damaged, but successfully repaired – it showed in items only one damaged sandbag (unfortunately at this point I already removed them from the ship, so I don't have a screenshot, showing the difference between visible number of damaged sandbags and accounted for in items – bt I got screenshots, where these two bugged sandbags are not shown at all in items, see below). Also, I tried to open the game in the browser – it also didn't help, the sandbags just disappeared.
In the screenshots below, I marked the normal sandbags with yellow and the bugged ones with red.
1st screen: I entered the pvp battle with player iHUMAN with already 2 damaged sandbags (yellow 2 and 3). The sandbags, which got bugged in this battle, are intact at the start of the battle: red 1 and 2 (in the next screenshot, I named them the other way: 2 and 1).

2nd screen: End of the pvp battle with player iHUMAN sandbags 1 and 2 got bugged. You can even see that the bugged sandbag sprite in the Shield room on the right (red 2) looks like if it's floating: it is higher from ground than the other damaged, but not bugged sandbag on the left – not sure if this is relevant (but the bugged sandbag red 1 in the Teleport room also appears to be higher than it normally should be).
After the battle, I repaired everything from the items list (it showed 2 damaged bags, not 4, later I remembered that). After repair, I noticed the 2 unrepaired sandbags onboard and so discovered the bug. Later I tried to move red 2 from shields to PLA, which was successful, so in the next screenshots, red 1 is seen in the PLA room
3d screen showing 3 intact sandbags listed in the items list (yellow) and 2 bugged sandbags, missing in the items list (red)
4th screen shows 3 intact sandbags listed in the items list (yellow) after removing ALL sandbas from the ship. The 2 bugged sandbags are now totally missing as if they didn't exist at all.
Please, restore or refund these two lost sandbags.

yeah, the same way they monitor the modules bug, just looking 👀 , i noticed this bug when i first start playing, asked the fleet members about it, they told this is happening for years

@fiery wren so form our investigation the sync client on our server end (which we use as a source of truth) verified that the battle did end in your loss, which was what the server used as the end result. This could mean one of two things:
- You were using an older version, which means there's a likelihood that something in the difference with the latest version caused a desync
- Something's wrong with the client causing mismatch between attacker and defender
Can you please verify if you were up to date when you viewed the replay?
Client version is included in replay outcome submission, cant you get log from it?
I see, thank you for looking into it. I can't verify if it was an older version because my game is saying it's currently the latest version and I've not updated the app recently. I don't have the replays anymore as it was almost 2 weeks ago

I won at first but was disconnected. Upon restarting the log shows a loss, but replay shows a win
I won the battle, I also saved the image with the number of cups, but after half an hour I saw that the number of cups was 23 less, although all the defenses were successful. For some reason, the game counted my win as a loss after half an hour. I am attaching a video replay of the battle and the original image with the number of cups. Please return the 23 cups to me. This problem needs to be fixed as soon as possible because it’s basically saying you don’t actually care about your players and how they do THEIR battles because it’s not their fault if due to desync they lose the battle and lose the stars. If I win my battles then it says I lose it later on why would I want to spend money a game like that? Absolutely zero return if there’s no guarantee a win will stay as a win. Fix your damn game.

After update on android reviewing replay 2 times did not trigger the score correction. The results the same as on yours sceen shot. Also don't know if it is related or not but can't do any more fights for past few hours.

I'm guessing ToTheMo0 lost server connection? And somehow the battle got marked as lost, instead of being replayed to find the correct outcome?
This should have resulted in a quick recalculation on the client side on relogging, right? Wouldnt need the server to calculate the result, with both Attacker and Defender saying the attacker won. Smells like a small bug with the logic, unless you're running the server calculation anyway for some reason
Android. Tournament. Arcanoid (my) vs Lord Pacho + 2 times same situation with visiri ship before it (unable to sync right after the battle). Battles won but 0 HP and defeated in logs. No stars given.

Yesterday, me (Капитан Пардус) attacked TheFridgeMagnet. Battle was won, but cuz of desync I lost in logs. No given stars, minerals, gas and spice crate
Desync on attack! 
Was just informed this happens from being disconnected twice. If such a system is in place, why would the game force an update at the end of battle?
My log shows I lost this defense. Watched the replay twice.

Today, three tournament fights didn't count at all, which is why I lost three attempts at the tournament.
Some battles are never complete...
Data sync after successful tournament attack results in disconnection, afterwards there is no reward or battle log entry and the attempt is wasted
