#Rebalancing rituals in Penitence Mode

As someone who only plays Penitence and Permadeath Mode, I only have one problem. I can't go on a crusade for more than one lap, which is very frustrating. In normal mode, during a crusade you can complete a maximum of 3 laps, including the initial one, which cannot be said about Penitence mode.

What I suggest: Since Ritual Fast gives followers the opportunity not to starve for 3 days, and the Glory Through Toil ritual allows them to work for 3 days without fatigue, then why doesn’t this work on the lamb? Essentially, we have the same need for food and rest as followers, but rituals only work for them (by the way, the Feasting Ritual works for lamb). I propose to give the effects to the lamb, because it will greatly help to explore all 3 laps of the crusade.

It's a pity that not everyone plays in this mode, there would be many who understand.

the biggest issue for me with playing in this mode is honestly this! i think if rituals worked for the lamb as well there might be more people that played penitence mode

as in, not many people actually play in penitence mode, but if there were more people that did, more people might understand this suggestion i think?

Yes, this suggestion is aimed specifically at those who play in penitence mode

#

In fact, this is the only thing missing in this mode, and it is obvious.

for the sake of balance, you can give a negative effect after the end of fasting and three days of work

yes! if the lamb fasts maybe they end up with super low hunger or high exhaustion? same with glory through toil

I would play it if there wasn't a permadeath aspect to it

permanent death only happens if you miss the timer bar 3 times in a row, which is impossible, even if you're on a hike and your timer is already running, you'll still have time to go back to eat and sleep. to die, you'd either have to intentionally starve yourself, or like me, forget to pause and go somewhere
