Would require beating TOWW, completing at least 2 more crusades for god tears, and then using a summoning circle to take the kittens to their mother.

Between the summoning circle and unlocking quicker rituals to completion 2 sacrifices there’s a lot of pieces to consider.

If you're doing a run where you need multiple sermons to unlock various upgrades then no, but if you're doing an any% run or smth that you aren't needing any day-based events or purchases then it's probably best to stop time then so the followers you have made sick or hungry during crusades don't die as quickly, especially on higher difficulties

iirc it's not something we've set hard and fast rules on for different categories, it was only a feature that was introduced after the initial surge of popularity for the game so it's not something we've had to consider a lot

No major glitches (nmg) is essentially just a run that doesn't abuse any of the major skips we have, such as early Midas, follower dupe or talisman dupe, this really is only relevant for downpatched runs tho as these glitches have been patched out of the game since, and we haven't really been able to find any other huge game breaking skips for later versions (but we are always on the lookout for new ways to break it open!)

As for pentinence, this is a new game mode that was introduced with one of the latest updates that essentially introduces a hunger and sleep meter for the lamb which you need to consider replenishing throughout the run too, it also adds a quick start feature that skips the entire starting tutorial part of the game which saves a bunch of time, somewhere around 10 mins or so I'd say but I might be wrong haha

Quick start - Bosses show up, don't have to deal with hunger n sleep. Boss transition cutscenes play

Penitence - Bosses don't show up during crusades and also don't have dialogue during fights, Q leave from the start, have to deal with sleep and hunger (not a big deal imo)

Unfortunately it's not that simple cause of how the game plays out in both scenarios. Both ways you still have to get through 4 crusades to reach leshy, but in non-quickstart modes they weave tutorial sections of dialogues and pre-determined rooms and stuff in throughout but still randomised where they sit cause it's a roguelike, and also different people run through all sections of the game differently depending on what strats they are going for, how they are wanting to route their run and other things too, so it's not really as simple as just removing the tutorial sections of the original runs to make them all the same

Also another thing I saw a bit of confusion with earlier - we used to have two separate categories, one for quick start mode (without pentinence) and then one for pentinence (cause whenever you select pentinence mode in game it automatically turns on quick start and you can't turn it off). We eventually got rid of the quick start by itself category cause most people that were wanting to run one of those two preferred pentinence cause it was essentially exactly the same run but you had omnipresence auto-unlocked in pentinence which just saved even more time

That mixed with having time pause on and easy difficulty meant you barely had to manage the lambs hunger and sleep if at all, it's been a while since I did a run of that category I can't remember lmao

the bombs hit each other which killed them and hit their offspring which blew them up as well

try running leshy% to get a feel for how to be quick and learn the weapons well

during these attempts try to get the highest possible dps which most of the time is attacking, instantly rolling and attacking again

for example for gauntlets, youd end up constantly doing on the third hit which has increased speed, range and damage than the regular 3 hit one

i managed to actually look at fornax and they basically have a base damage of 5

#

the calculation is basically 5*follower level with a follower level checking if a demonic necklace is present in which case it adds 2 more levels

#

so a level 10 ends up dealing 50 damage

#

this is assuming in a vacuum so no modifiers

Windows: Hit Win+R and paste "%appdata%/../LocalLow\Massive Monster\Cult of the Lamb\saves" without quotes. It will be the slot_0.json file if it's your first slot, slot_1.json for second, slot_2.json for third.

Mac: From Finder up top, hit Go > Go to Folder... which will default to Library, then hit Application Support > Massive Monster > Cult of the Lamb > saves. It will be the slot_0.json file if it's your first slot, slot_1.json for second, slot_2.json for third.

It would require 6 new commandment stones, new follower forms, and new blueprints, I think thats it not much progression just fun conetnt

and sex takes sin sadly but you will need golden eggs for follower forms

and poop drinks give 50% sin

still a lot of time but not too much

That's the thing tho, cause it's a roguelike and we have no control over what reward drops will be and randomisation of follower perks and whatnot that all channel into when we can build and unlock certain things it gets tricky to have a fail-safe route to follow

So a lot of runs of the game end up being starting with a rough general structure that you follow but ultimately end up being how well can you think and adapt on the fly with so many possible options that could save or lose even a few seconds each but add up pretty quickly

#

Also there aren't that many people that have been brave enough to tackle a 100% run of any capacity (myself included lmao even tho it's on my list to attempt someday haha) so the amount of data we have of what has gone into failed/successful attempts is pretty limited, in saying that tho we are doing the best we can with what we've got LambAdore
