Poop is pretty much crafting a certain amount of poop dishes. Snail needs you to give a snail sheell to the hidden snail altars in different areas.

finally, finished my first speedrun - few safe strats with making beds/food with bad follower RNG and losing count of total followers. Not perfect, but happy I finally completed a run.

It's an actual soft lock cause you do get the heart and return with it

But the door sealing The One Who Waits doesn't get their chain broken

And because you picked up the heart already, the boss will not respawn so you're pretty much stuck.

Note to self: Clear all enemies that are still alive before picking up the heart lol

@blazing forum new day, new attempts. Going for sub 2 hours on RBO. I did a practice run this morning, and didn't die even once. This is doable.

• Added a bunch of new splits.
• GameTime now ignores loading screens and quote screens (because they can't be skipped on some devices).

Before it goes to main ASL it need some testing. You are welcomed to test it too.

ok so i did a scuffed test run to prove that glitched any% is viable, i got a segmented time of 1:25 with absolutely piss bad play, i just suck so hard at Anura especially

but I believe a 1:10:00 is possible with perfect play and glitches

its uploading to yt rn, gonna take a little while

also after sacking 4 followers to midas and losing 3 to shamura you're gonna have zero followers, so you need to indoctrinate one extra when you unlock omnipresence, would be the most sensible moment. at least if you do the option B route in the doc, which i did in the test run, although it is a minute slower than option A i'd guess

One strat I managed to pull off a few times is to clear through DW1-DW3 as fast as possible that by the time you return to do the ritual, it'll be the start of the night time segment of Day 1. You can quickly then tp to Pilgrim's Passage to fish for your 1-2 amulet pieces and then unlock the doors before going to Midas's Cave

May be a bit slower though in comparison if you can skip the sacrifice cutsccenes in midas's cave using that other skip I showed.

well, you can teleport out of the temple once, which is considerably faster than watching the end of those animations and going to the circle

so if u tp to passage from there and catch a fish and give one to the fox

then go back unlock doors

then go to midas and sacrifice as many as u need

i think thats fastest way

if u dont tp out of temple then just unlock all doors and sack 4 to midas

actually no idk if going to passage is even worth it

Cause the time to fish, then to get the amulet all to run back to base does seem to be a amount of a time sink vs just doing it all in one place.

Especially once again if you're able to skip the cutscenes you're saving about another 5-10 seconds per cutscene skipped

I'll go likely time both methods to see which one gets you the amulet faster

my problem previously was that you had to tp via ratau in the temple, but since you can just tp anytime via the circle it doesn't matter

Yeah, npcs are no longer needed

Which dunno if anyone knows this but if you do not talk to any of the npcs that end up in Ratau's house by going around them on the edge of the room, they will reappear the next section of your crusade

This makes some rooms free to pass

also, sacking 4 means you won't have to worry about finding a fish or being early enough to make it during night time, more relaxed

The boss only gives 25, assuming you skipped all chests

The only way for you to get through that when you're skipping all chests is you need the at least the no damage from boss bonus or no damage at all for the 20/50% bonus to all resources

So basically taking a hit from the boss is run ender if you don't pick anything up

Amm basicaly i did it only once and by accident but if you have ressurection unlocked and as you get hit and die dodge. you will be in this "ghoul" mode whole screen will be blurry besides lamb and you can enter any room not getting hit or have any hit box. you cant interact with objects aka tarot cards and i dunno if its possible to dodge in frame perfect position on next floor as you die as soon as you enter new room on next floor

You can use curses, gather resources, destroy all objects on map. But you cant pick up hearts (i think i could not pick up one that dropped). Cant interact with objects by buttom (take tarot card or generate another one for gold)

I tried to recreat it but becuase of huw funky hit box is and how dodge roll works its hard for me to do it

Ive been figuring out a bit. The run is more like am rts game then a rougelike. We’re going to do the same 5 runs in each dungeon with a lot more cult management. Ya know cause any% does so much of that.

You can always check the RealTime if you want. GameTime strips all loading and fadein fadeout screens, also quote screens and starting video.

I also use mods with some game hacks to fast check autosplitter changes, like x3 moving speed and x100 damage multipliers. The game breaks so hard from time to time 😃

1st glitch - multiple confessions at the same day. I managed to do 3 times in a row for now, but it's still inconsistent, maybe there is a better way to do it.
When the confession is near the end (right before the follower starts to sprint outside), hold left/down on the movepad, and spam click where the lamb's feet are inside the booth. Right after the follower's loyal bar fills up the Confession booth becomes clickable and you can redo the confession. Don't forget to consider the automatic camera movement.

2nd glitch - Stuck Followers Tasks. I don't know if there is a limit to how many followers you can do this, but in my experience there isn't. The glitch still needs testing but seems consistent. I only tested it with Refinery building.
First, be sure to mark a couple of followers to work on the refineries.
Create 3 Refineries, 2 side-by-side, and 1 just in the middle so there is no green space in between them. Start consecrating resources on all 3,and wait for the followers. Then talk to the follower on the left-top side one and bless/encourage or give him a gift, so a new follower comes in and start working on that same refinery. If done correctly the first follower will get stuck in that space and start doing tasks without moving, that includes collecting seeds/poop, farming, building stuff, praying etc.. Repeat as much as you like.

for the third question, any% is finish the game as fast as possible (in limit of rules) so you can do it without golden fleece if you want. In theory with golden fleece it's faster but nothing force you to use it.

hi, it splits each time when condition is true, you can make your own list of splits, for instance you can check all "bosses defeated" in ASL settings and when beat them in your own order (not matched the settings order)

2. click Right Mouse Button and "Save As"
3. remove ".txt" from the file name, should be "Cult Of The Lamb.asl"
4. choose directory and click "Save"

hey I'm not sure if this is where I should note this, but i found that if you don't dodge when the tutorial prompts you to, you will automatically dodge and take no damage, i believe you can do this up to 3 times before you start taking damage, it pairs well with the golden fleece if you can pay the whole game only getting hit 3 or less times

what do you mean with Darkwood completed and Exit Darkwood? I tried both but it splits at the end of the starting tutorial and not at the end of any of the Darkwood dungeon (I wanted to do 4 splits, Darkwood I, II, III, and Leshy)

• Exit Darkwood - each time you exit Darkwood

there is no specific splits for DW1,2,3

for the Leshy - Leshy defeated

so, for instance, if you want to measure how much time you need to defeat Leshy you need to check "Darkwood completed" and "Leshy defeated", you get 2 splits - before the battle and after

@fierce tangle I do this and that work well yes, one split for each run (so 4 * 4) with Exit <zone> each time and that split each time you reappear in the base after a run. Just for the Intro Split I use "First time on base" to have the same split logic.

Everyone, can you help with one thing, I need to enable a specific splits in ASL by default for Any%. Of course everyone can change settings as they wish later, I just wanna make usable default settings, and I think about this:

Timer start/stop:

• Timer starts then you first gain control of the Lamb, as stated in Any% rules (technically you gain control on Quote screen, as you can skip it, but this differs for different platforms).
• Timer ends then closing credits shown, as stated in Any% rules (imo timer should stops on Sacrifice chosen, because you loose control in that moment).

Default splits (order does not matter):

• Lamb entering Cult Base for the first time (just before Difficulty selection).
• Golden Fleece unlocked.
• Entering Darkwood, Anura, Anchordeep, Silk Cradle and The Gateway for the first time (imo this is redundant, but many asks for that).
• Leshy, Heket, Kallamar and Shamura defeated for the first time.

Please comment and share you thoughts on this.

then you go to spore grotto and give a follower to the fox and 10 mushrooms to sozo

alternatively if u feel like it you can go for 2 fish for fisherman and save the follower, just give mushrooms then

What i learnt: Cards have weight, certain cards cannot get rare/epic rarities, damage on weapon card is based on damage in combo divided by hits in combo.

I personally like going for vampiric weapons on easy (when I was doing RBO, obvs), but seeing as golden fleece+EH=die in one hit to everything, I think going for curses is probably better.

No its not. You prioritize blueprints over everything. Unlock omnipresents first and if you need more of a resource you enter a dungeon grab that and get out. Unlock lumber yards almost asap and then keep like four built at all times.

Yeah, Helob spawns once you open up Silk Cradle, so follower rooms become pointless as long as you pick up some amount of gold.
