You need to get catalyst trait which can only be found in a match by:
Using the empress tarrot card

Finding it at the burned convoy (the burned place that has smoke coming from it and looks like a cart on fire on the map)

Using one of those fortune telling machines has a chance to give one too but is not reliable

Then if you have beastface and catalyst trait on the same hunter it will make animals never startle

The most reliable way is to bring 1 event mark to the burned convoy. There is a spot there where an empress and chariot card always appear and near it a catalyst trait for 1 mark.

If you find the empress you are free to use it. If the empress has been taken by someone else you can always use 1 mark on the catalyst trait spur (the bone thingy) near this spot

My guess would be because of the satchel being inside the pot mesh and the explosion somehow seeing it as a hitbox even though it doesn't seem to have one that would have prevented the satchel being placed there of the dynamite perfectly landed on the table and the explosion didn't wrap around the underside of the table

the sights are clear yea but theres a trick with most sights in the game. you can use them to judge how far to lead with someone sprinting perpendicular. for example, on frontier i think when it indents is how far to lead at 100m

unless you use crosshair x in which case just add mildots to your hearts content
