Did a lot of xp farming and then slowly made my way to the boss lair (team had picked up tokens). Arrived with 25 mins left. Absolute silence. Heard another team in an adjacent building. But no shots, no wallbangs, no peeks. Nothing at all. Birdwatching mode activated. Then. One shot. Literally 3 more mins of silence. One more shot, two shots. Minutes of silence. Wow. After 15 mins of silence and maybe 7 shots in total, finally a push. Over in 1 minute. No more enemies for boss team. Except me, the 3 star tourist. Scan the usually windows. No peeks, none. Trio sitting in the boss lair, waiting for the solo to storm it. 5 mins left. Oh oh. Finally, something: Verbal abuse. lol Still no peeking. 3 mins left. Angry trio runs out in the sunlight for the first time. Like a vampire by the sun ray, the first gets struck by my Winfield and dies right away. His companion retreat in the darkness of the boss lair once again. Time is running out. I am curious what their plan is. 2 mins left. They resign. Give up like discouraged lab rats, waiting for death. The biggest rat (me) chuckles and sacrifices his cheap xp hunter to the 3* bayou gods. Speechless. Amazed. What a curious world.

I mean, we already have guns that are a little ahead of its time in the game. Doesn't need to be modernized. The RSC is really just a bottom loading variant made for the Lebel. It handles recoil very well in comparison but jams were very common due to its action and gravity pulling down rounds while cycling. The modification was made in 1917 but its for an older gun. I mean, just look at the Alamo. The Alfoso was patented in 1923 which was just a universal modification for single shot break action shotguns.

There are certain technical gameplay challenges when the ping disparity becomes too large, there is no way around that.

uppercut is really good at spewing long ammo damage in close ranges and I usually take flechette to tighten the rivals spread so I can push its damage range for finishing hits

Yes, med-kits for heals and toolboxes for replenish heal charges on your own med-kit.
Other than that, there are 4-shot boons envelopes that gives you health regen for a while and you can also be very lucky to find vitality shots in toolboxes :)

flechettes legit save my life because I play aggressively/ front liner so the ability to use it as a more accurate less skill intensive follow up shot is amazing imo

I rarely play shotguns anyway I'm more of the guy who stay in the middle doing pop shots with a carbine

Shotguns are always a part of my builds

im either full length rival + quatermaster two slot secondary

The only shotgun in my build is just penny Deri

or Cyclone/ krag suppressed with auto 4 shorty

I just find them more consistent with my playstyle in close range

im always moving from corner to corner room to room very quickly

so having the ability to push people around with shotgun damage is lifesaving

can turn a aim vs aim gunfight into something a bit more hectic because I can hold a room or area to let teammates make plays

with shotguns only ADS when your pushing about 12-15m+, usually the Damage to spread ratio is good enough that you can one shot most players in 12m range with hipfire
