It depends on what changes they need to make. For the Shredder, it was quick because they tweaked some values but kept the mechanics intact. Extra ammo halved, explosion proximity and radius halved, pledge mark cost increased.
The patch that fixed Blademancer took longer because they had to alter a core mechanic of pullout damage in multiple areas between arrows, bolts, throwing axes, spears, etc, and do the testing to make sure it worked.

Story mode and some sort of pve would be awesome. Under my 100 hours so far, i was teamed up with complete beginners a few times, and they typed in chat stuff along the lines of "oh shit is this pvp? Thought it was pve..". I am pretty honest to them about the learning curve, and tell them that the only pve they can experience is killing the mobs. Many new people i honestly beleive who join due to the dark western-supernatural aesthetic think the game is pve because it does have that vibe. I bought the game too because i thought it was pve, or had a mode at least 😭

Yeah just for beginners, make it give no event points, less money, less exp, and people who work 12 hours who want to get on the game, but mainly just to relax and not sweat could play it. It could also help bring back some confidence after a huge loss streak

the game's not that sweaty to be honest. the economy is very forgiving and there's very little at stake in any given match outside trying to preserve a high-level hunter. if you want a mode where you can literally turn your brain off after a long shift... fuck, I don't think a stalk-murder simulator is the right fit lol.

Use the 3 ones you want to know and shoot them in the inspect screen a few times before you start a session, I will come naturally after time
The krak for example has a very distinct high pitch at the end of each shot

Got my first Cowboy Beetle kill, exfil dark dynamite, poor team we fought early match, killed two, their third ran away, he wiped a trio and then got 2 bounties, came back to res his friends, only ressed one of them, I guess their third disconnected, they came to exfil and my team was ready to pounce, last minute exfil ambush idea payed out lol. They had to be down to like 50hp each
