If you're confident enough then bringing a level 50 is way faster than just retiring them....I think my biggest increase before I hit 100 was from 30 to 80 in a single game with a 50 because of the envelopes

playing lvl 50s is the best wayto level up if you are confident in your abilities and its honestly a bit rng, sometimes you jsut die and thats that. but also earning 10k xp in a mission isnt terribly difficult so even a death you earn more xD it just depends on you as a player and how the games go. retiring is a safe and sure option to level up the bloodline. my fastest prestige was under 2 hours and it was with one hunter

The ones which have rookie at the end of their name have unlockable variants. You need to get them to level 50 twice to unlock all variants. Occasionally there are also twitch drops you can get hunter skins from.

Match MMR is 2 thing, an Average of your teams own match mmr and a recent display of your games. think of Personal MMR (what you see someone as) as a total amount of mmr, but match mmr fluctuates based on your previous games. its essentially a loose number that shows how well your games are going. so when i say those 5 stars arent 5s, i mean they arent performing like what their account mmr says, so 5. they are basically having an off day (one or 2 of them) and got dropped a bracket, but not enough to lose their account standing

Imo that's not that hard of an adjustment because crossbow doesn't feel like you're firing a gun, like mentally theres a clear distinction for me it doesn't really affect my gun muscle memory

You can shoot the bolt earlier before the opponent peeks because it has a slower mv, so you have more time to get back into cover after prefiring to avoid a trade. It's a huge technicality though and steel bolts are still an objective upgrade
