Martini henry loses iirc 3 damage compared to sparks, the main downside is muzzle velocity, but it has a better reload and more ammo, also access to explosive ammo.

So basically, the Martini Henry is a better compound weapon and worse ranged weapon unless you're going for certain combos like sparks + flash bomb or sparks + hand crossbow chokes

Compact: You're always aiming for heads anyways, sometimes a two tap. There's no 125+ damage breakpoint to lose anyway.

Medium: Got buffed to start at 30 m damage dropoff

Long: Even at close range, it still has the superior damage and penetration and reaches great damage breakpoints
