I don't know why they made the deadeye crossbow at all, the projectile drop off makes aiming with a scopes reduced visual super impractical, To hit any kind of distant shot with the crossbow you have to aim up and lead the shot, closing off portions of your screen makes that impossible

I'm a low mmr, but give me my duo versus a high mmr, over me versus a lower or equal duo or trio any day. With a few exceptions

The chances of taking down 3 baseline competent opponents simultaneously as a solo aren't good.

I've taken down high mmrs before. Sometimes easily. As long as my duo teammate distracts him in a situation where he doesn't have dark sight boost. I'm crafty in my old age. But I rarely can win 3 firefights in a row.

I've heard it's more distance based than timed, like you couldn't just sit around in the nest and watch the eggs grow back after X minutes. What the timer is once players have cleared a certain radius, I've got no clue. Others mentioned it was quite quick to run away far enough, come back, and have the nest be stocked again.

I have however had dozens upon dozens of instances where I should have traded and see blood splatters on the enemy hunter but no hitmarker which got denied

Some people reported that using a VPN and connecting through a different neighboring country helped in some cases, or switching their server region in the config file to a different one before starting.

To open the config and change to a different server you have to do the following:

3. search for these lines with the search function (ctrl+f)

Does Horned Skin somehow protect against a Knuckle Knife stab? I'm trying to figure out how a headshot only does 149dmg. This is the first time I've ever seen something this clear, to the point where the server also said I did get a headshot. I CANNOT replicate this in the shooting range. If this isn't supposed to happen, I'll report it as a bug.

I did. Horned Skin is only blunt damage reduction, right? So unless it incorrectly calculates the knuckle knife stab as blunt, MAYBE it does that? but Idk, I don't see enough people run horned skin to know if that's how it would work here or not.

Idk if that's even possible, but the game seems to have registered you also hitting the thorax, meaning you hit him in the head and did decent damage, but then the game calculated the rest as in hitting thorax, resulting in 149 damage? Idk, shouldn't happen

Starting melee on upper torso and dragging up to the head with the knuckle knife always does 149

It wasn't even that big of a "drag". Even at the hit marker, that's still registers as a headshot when in the shooting range. Mind you, I have a center crosshair. So it's not like it's anywhere near the thorax.
