the thing is, if we take the 5700X vs 5800X, the 5700X is cheaper but also performs almost just as good as 5800X, but with the benefit of twice less power consumption and so HEAT. i’d go for 5700X honestly. i’m looking at benchmarks with power consumption and FPS… there is no diff in FPS but holy fuck there is one with temperature and power consumption.

Get a Ryzen 5 8400F or 7500F, cheap kit of 32GB DDR5 6000 and a decent entry level B850 board.

Or X870 if you want a bit more I/O

AM4 is a dead platform and AMD doesn't really produce the best chips on it anymore

And thanks to DDR5, the 7500F is worst case on paar and best case beats the 5800X3D in Hunt

And the newer the game, the more likely the 7500F is to win even against he strongest AM4 CPUs, simply due to DDR5 and the faster fabric
