if you are playing solo you just enjoy yourself

I think that map makes a bit more sense in that context but when they did the overhaul to what they wanted to game to be, with first person and PVP they ended up changing a lot of things to make it a bit more streamlined and faster

Yesterday's games were very revealing. I have 3,5k hours of gameplay so i've experienced all situations several times, and i can tell you without any doubt that yesterday people were playing differently.
Suddently, no more headshots received almost every game, enemies were moving with much less confidence, reaction times greatly reduced, getting shot after peeking out of a corner was not lightining fast as usual. I couldn't even notice much difference between 4 star games and 5-6 stars. Yesterday, many players were probably experiencing the game as it should be: without permanent vision of enemies inside a square, without invisible weapons, without fixed bright crosshair. They actually had to wait for the weapon to come up, wait for the poorly visible sights to align, look around in the fog actually searching for hints of enemy presence. What a terrible experience for them.
Two days ago i received 4 headshots (on 4 shots) in a single game by one player, from medium and long distance, of which one through the wall and one from 100 meters while i was in a bush.
And the following day, i probably had the first HONEST day in Hunt Showdown, thanks to the 20gb update making cheats unavailable. Amazing difference.
