Loving the Cursor bug! Nothing like having the ingame cursor showing up as you're running around and nothing you can do to fix it unless restarting the game. I swear the game is breaking down the longer the servers are up

@late yarrow I'm not sure how I feel ab the flashlight suggestion. I feel like the obvious solution is just giving everyone a lamp and having it bound to a keybind but I have a slight feeling it didn't work with the new lighting system so they just cut it because barely anyone used it

Just throwing my hat into the ring and voicing my concern for the new UI, which feels horrid to use
veteranwould never use flashlight in other way than placing it on the ground so there is no way that crytech would let it have it's place, and it's reasonable.
I used to run flashlight in every single game until they broke it with the shadow bug
It does not just FEEL i have deleted my top tier hunters due to wrong display, and people lost their solos due to wrong spectate button
I'll miss the electric lamp very much, I had just started using it again cause I noticed they fixed the annoying center shadow thing

I'm not gonna argue with you, but the reason the flashlight hass been removed is that almost every single player never used it , i wish it had more potentian. I wish it trully did, and for hunt to be more spooky 🙂

i honestly find just an oil launcher more interesting, but a compromise could most likely be made.
Maybe it could be an extra step in ammo type selection once in game

why is burning so quick now? its like 1minute and burnt out, players who love to instant burn will be jizzing themselves
Agreed would be better if it burned off an extra bar every ignite rather than insta burn. Wouldn't be so bad if they just remove the flare gun ability to burn out a body.
even with salveskin or what ever the perk is it is still way to quick

My FPS random drop very drasctically
I run a NVDIA RTX 2060 my FPS for the games when I first played the new version of hunt was about 90 to 100. Than it increase to about 100 to 116 after about 2 days of playing. After another 2 days or so right now at the same location same compound the FPS could drop to 60 to 70 plus. than randomly increase to 90 for 20 seconds before dropping to 60 to 70 plus again.
How do I solve this issue?

i have 1 challenge left and its kill hellborn but i am always getting 2 boss maps, it just makes me want to extract and leave my teammates lol
the new ui sucks, its awkward and clunky and doesnt seem to be designed for a human to operate
old one was clucky and has too many elements but at least i can get to where i want in just 2 clicks

Honestly long ammo still seems like the best all around option with the nerfs to FMJ and HV, it just has actual competition at range.

The drop is not that big of a deal for long ammo, for most guns you don't have to account for it at all within 120m

What it really hurts is long pistols, Haymaker FMJ has a stated range of 50m before you have to aim above the head, which is just rough

I thought the old UI was fine during the beta, the problem with it is that they just kept adding more and more tabs and never consolidated any that did the same thing
And then this new ui has even more tabs.

Oh yeah, the beta UI was fine. It just got so cluttered, but this is soooo much worse
i ant buttons/a button in the post match screen that allo us to repurchase our traits/health/loadout quickly
started first round to change settings, fps are much worse than before, servers are laggy and marker sound sounds super cheap, like just low quality

I was actually going to suggest that soon and it's a great idea. Alternative to retiring a hunter.
Give a hunter to be recruitable at any time for 100hb with no inventory and random traits. Great for players that haven't prestiged yet because they don't want to lose their hunter with cool name.
I say this as a drilling lover, it’s not that fucking good, Cyclone with FMJ is way too cracked in close range, even if you use the 3 shot rule because of the magazine it’s still just better than the drilling

I would like the uppercuts cost to get reduced a bit. Made sense when it did 126 dmg but now I think 414 dollars for it is a bit much

after a week of play i'd love to see a survey monkey come out like they do with events & share the results with the community. I really want to see what the community on the whole thinks of the burning mechanics. I for one hate them. .. its obvious almost everyone hates the UI.. ..

Listen for me most of this stuff is just adjusting and building upon the systems we currently have. It sucks having to deal with it but it can be fixed...I wanted them to do something with the net code.

Oh, burning rework.
In current state burning will lead the game to demise, because it's punishing all players, including those not wise, who praises it.
First of all, it will increase overall camping dramatically, opposite to desired results. Much higher risk, much more punishment, so people will play much more carefully. It will lead to 0.6 very slow gameplay.
Also, this burning stimulating toxic behaviour, when instant (right after kill in the middle of fight) burning will become normal eventually. Just like dolch were a problem, or quickswap exploit.
My comment was abiut the burning but the nights c9ntracts are also good, i want the wildcard contracts to be back so much, the bonus it was so good i easily could max out a hubter in one match playing solo vs 3
I have feeling that by speeding up the burning devs tried to "balance" solos.

Yes but you see, is not wildcard condition i am talking about, is the wildcard contracts, because if you play with random contracts wich is the one we playing right now, you can get a wildcard condition map but without the bonus, wildcard contracts gives you bonus to play them, extracting succesfully as a solo v 3 i would get out with mx hunter in the majority of matches, it was so good, so rewarding to push myself.
I wouldn't mind that coming back either. I just hope most players dont ignore it because, "I hate less visibility"

@tired holly I totally agree. The excessive twitch drop timers just encourage people to idle and use programs to collect their rewards on the first streamer they see with drops active. It doesn’t really help any if the smaller streamers outside of raids

The actual 'range where drop starts' is obfuscated now, you can't see it ingame. it just shows the range where drop is one head worth of height drop

Click click click confirm confirm confirm ... eventually people just click confirm out of habit and they don't even know they spent 5 actual dollars instead of 5 fake hunt bucks. Crytek can adjust the value of said hunt bucks anytime they want by changing the color of a skin from yellow, orange, to purple. It's a scam.
This entire patch is a mixed bag. I love the new map. I like the gameplay changes. The interface is so predatory and the twitch drops just feel like an extension of psychological warfare.

The map and gameplay changes are mostly cool, the spencer is OP as fuck, and burning is way too fast but other than that everything is gr8
the new map is beautiful .. I can forgive peformance issues ... it's a full engine update .. but the UI .. it's just unforgivable .. and some of the continued decisions (and I know this is controversial) to mantain solo vs group gameplay buffs .. I just went on a long rant in the feedback channel on that .. it really sucks trying to play the game just as a casual and constantly going up against solo sweats .. I really question Crytek's sanity on some of the most basic decisions. They have such a wonderful concept and game but they keep screwing it up with mechanics.
I can't take any stream seriously anymore that plays solo. The game is skewed toward solo gameplay right now. It's not even remotely comparable. People can tell me I'm a wrong all they want but they want their MMR adjustment, they want their 10 second dark sight, they want their double serpent range , and most importantly they need that solo self revive ... "back in my day" solo didn't need that crap. solo actually meant you were hardcore ... now it's literally mainstream and the entire game has lost its way IMO
Most youtube these days includes a streamer getting beat then standing up and wiping the server. Not cool. It literally pushes me to the competition that doens't need solo crutch. I'd rather watch a rat in the corner on customs in Tarkov than a person click a button to self revive. Self revive is junk.
Please fix the postmatch feature. How is the post match details still not hotfixed?? It's literally like the only thing players care about post match and delivered a completely incomplete feature.....
You lost me here dude. Playing solo is easily 5x harder than in teams as someone who plays solo 60% of the time.

Hit registration issues and trading are complete opposites.
Trading comes from a very generous client side hit registration that nullifies hit registration issues.
Hit registration issues would come from an unforgiving hit validation that nullifies trading.
Please, if you are able, send me clips of this "hit registration" issue.
I have seen many people in this server try to send "hit registration" clips, and not a single one has been actual hit registration, but a barely missed shot.

Yeah the trouble is if it's 4 people may not want to spend that many points. Having to spend any a mount of trait points is a decent investment for renouncing a trait.
I found this server again to just say how awful the new UI is for this update. I really wish I didn't have to click through 23 screens to do something I could do on the main screen. Or click back into the equipment menus each time I select gear or weapons.
Ehh, most people wouldn't want to pledge to the same pact twice anyway, why spend the trait points just to turn around and take it again? I also don't think lore should trump gameplay here

I swap between solo and group depending on when my friends are online. I want to be able to drop peacekeeper as a solo or sometimes I feel like "Man I kinda want to have this pact now actually", say if I pick up a bomb lance for example.

If a hunter has a burn trait I don't want to stop using (such as death cheat) or if I want to get that hunter to 50 and retire, that's counter-productive for my goals.
I don't want to change to a new hunter, I'd rather give up a trait and renounce a pledge
I also don't load out too many hunters at a time, I'll load out 2 or 3 then run them, and they almost never have the same equipment, so if I want to get the same "feel" as my last hunter I'd have to 1: Waste money on more guns to equip them both w/ the same loadout. 2: Level up the second hunter to have the traits the other one had, if it's a scarce trait I might not even get tham.
In my mind I'd rather just get rid of lightfoot or something to pick a new pledge.
when they gonna make money relevant again. it's way too easy to get money now. especially with the event. you can just go to the middle with a point or 2 and get a ton of money and ignore bounty. Feels like they removed incentive to actually fight people.

Sadly I don't think there's any way to make money relevant again, people who never prestige or are just good at the game are going to naturally have more than they can spend. Even when I'm actively trying to burn money off I just can't
The only way I ever found to burn money efficiently was to re-roll hunters hunting for specific variants near the start of prestiges. I'd regularly blow through 3k hunt bucks trying to get an alamo or hatchet or something specific that I hadn't unlocked yet, but now you can't even do that, and I'd always get it back within the hour anyways.
Yeah i think they need to do 2 things. Make it where you can spend like 250k or more hunt dollars to get a random skin like prestiging, and STOP MAKING EVENTS THAT GIVE PASSIVE ways of making money. and then halve the bounty money rewards and make them be like 3 or 4x as valuable for getting a grand slam. This would incentivize all or nothing play.

part of the fun of prestiging is losing your hunt bucks and starting from scratch

Well the issue I see is that net-gaining hunt dollars is almost inevitable, meaning you rarely have a deficit. There aren't really any drawback to getting the number set back to 10,000
beanwhile the only tangible penalty are weapons being re-locked and any nice hunters being sent to the void, although losing hunters is relatively minor
Old gen economy sucked so it really did set you back and I’m afraid to prestige in case they set it back to the old way.
I mean it's a possibility, but with the direction the game's been in I kind of doubt it. Everything's been getting more forgiving, save the alert trip changes
I guess if you look at it that way yeah but the way I see it is this game is full of redundant weapons. There's plenty of weapons that are "Worse" Versions of other weapons and plenty of people take them instead of the statistically superior one. I just used the Nitro as an example because I know that has the most severe balistic penalties in the game currently.

Let me rephrase that, I also disagree with the "straight upgrade" thing One of the things I love about this game is that all the weapons have a place. For example, Take the Sparks vs the Springfield Trap Door, both are single shot rifles. On paper the sparks looks better stat wise but when you take the Springfields price and special ammo choices into consideration its a tough choice in my book. Even if on paper it was statistically worse than another weapon there are tons of factors that go into what makes a weapon Better or Worse.

We've been begging for more than 2 years for that at this point. It was promised under the "fair play force", but since the EU servers are still infested with Asian players, it's pretty safe to say that there's nothing been done about that
In the reddit post yesterday, they have a point about the ping limit, and folks who are able to still get into regions they shouldn't be able to reach. It's a bug right now, and should be addressed soon
well I hope they will fix that asap, I don't really care about UI, ingame ping abusers are much more important.

Your idea is interesting, but It would have to be limited for solo play or pre made groups.
I couldn't imagine playing with a level 70 random, and having the entire lobby rush or ambush you immediately because they have a beacon on the map.
Cheers, yeah I was thinking about stuff like that, I think as you said, with a high leveled hunter, they can only do pre mades in trio or duos. Was thinking also limit the amount of high leveled hunters that can be in any one game to 2 or 3.
Also, I was thinking when a hunter reaches a certain level, they can only play as solo into trios - just another optional way to create hindrances to higher leveling. Increasing the risk etc alot of balancing would need to be thought out
Or perhaps, matchmaking setting to turn off being put on a team with a high level. Personally, I would find it kinda fun being on a team with one because you know people are after them, but you got a strong team mate and you would still be hidden on the map while they would draw attention.

my main issue is with the recruiting hunter section, stuff is too large on the screen, sideways scrolling is awkward and why are the individual hunters so large?I hope they go back to the list like before. filling the screen with each individual slot is unintuitive. weapons/items in the shop being three in a row and so large on the screen is awkward. icons in the shop are too small relative to the tiles. its just bloated. Id like an option where everything is just on the screen or small icons to scroll through. the menus not staying a separate menu popping out on right click, and it being so large is awkward. the esc menu in game is awkward. having to buy consumables one by one entering the menu again everytime is awkward.
I have many more qualms but i just hate equipping hunters, it takes way too long and its frankly frustrating. the equip menu before was antiquated and needed work, but redesigning the core of it like this is really frustrating.
Some of it is better but overall i feel its just got too little too large on the screen and sideways scrolling makes no sense on a computer. the menu is like a ported console game. If you click the settings wheel, and then choose an option and then press back it should go back to the settings menu not the main menu.
basically it frustrates me that you have to enter a seperate menu everytime you do anything. like choosing a skin? you have to move your mouse around so much.
and it doesnt just show you the skins you have but every skin?
QOL is needed with the UI im fine with the style more or less but shortcuts and I should ony have to go into one page to - choose hunter and create a load out for said hunter - or to view unlocked items or skins never should it require going in and out of multipe pages.

QoL with the UI could just be having them not think the CoD menu design is good, which it is very much not good. Want an example of good UI design? The real MW2 is an example, but anyways - Just un-CoDify the menu, that's a good start.

havent seen anyone else mention this, but when i go to report someone in game or after in the lobby, i cant write anything in the report as the whole menu gets reset every few seconds
if you're in a team and your teammates are equipping/unequipping stuff it will kick you out of most of the menus
its not that i kicks me out of the menu, but say i select cheating for example, and start to type a description in the box. after a few seconds the menu will flicker and it unselects cheating, and clears what i've typed

their bleeding will escalate forever and it is not correctly reset on respawn
so you'd have to tag separate dummies and only once each to get accurate results
what I do not remember is wheter or not bleeding can naturally worsen from light to medium and heavy if left unattended ( I do know bleed stacks intensity if you keep getting procs )

Hello, I hope that those who work on Hunt Showdon read this. The landscape is beautiful, the sound is well done, but the interface is so bad and tedious. Second, the map is very, very big, it looks like a Farcry or a Battlefield. The serpentine and poison barriers are already obsolete since opening the door activates them and where the boss is located, there are like 8 doors. All their changes are made for the streamers, not for the normal 3 and 4 star people. The other thing is that there are not as many zombies as before, especially the carnivores that throw perks. Coin boxes that ask for an event point give you 1000, 750, 500 and 250 and with luck you catch 3 boxes during the game, before at least you find 5 or more and out of a thousand or 500, really, the game as it is is not worth it. I enjoyed it more when it was before engine 5, they should have left the maps as they were, but with engine 5 now I only play to finish the pass, but my exp in the game is already It's not like before. I hope they leave the maps that are missing with Engine 5 but that they don't modify the maps as much as they do now and that the traps are no longer activated with the doors open and that they leave fewer doors than now and 12 people on the map makes it small... it seems that a progressive messed up the game. From being good, now it's worse, thanks.

I understand a lot of your comments. The map is actually the same size as the other maps. There's just more stuff in it. The scale 1km by 1km is the same.
The traps being activated by doors actually makes sense. It's def a new feeling from the old where they weren't triggered, but realisticly they would be triggered and now you just have to plan for it. I hear you though, it feels like a double nerf especially since poison is only 1min now instead of 2.

Yeah, the map def feels bigger. I think the terrain (extra verticality) makes the scale feel larger especially when traversing. I think 1-2 more teams at least would feel nice. More fights. BUT if they did that they def need to pump up the number of items in the world (medkits, lamps, lunch boxes). It's kinda sparse in my opinion.

Bruh...don't think this is a good reason but whatever, in portuguese language we don't really have a word to refer to an object, often times we use gender nouns. That's because of our language, and im just used since birth to personify objects, it's a good thing to keep in mind when you see someone "personifying" an object, sometimes, its cultural.
This New UI is bringing so many of my friends over to play hunt. 32 of my friends saw the new UI and decided to buy the game! So glad the devs spent so much of their time and resources on it. Just glad to be a customer today. My money is well spent w/ Crytek

Things that are absolute ass with the game atm.
part 1
- ps5 players. bug that wont pop the weekly for visiting 20 encampments. I've been playing all week and still have 0/20.
- reporting players when you hit start and go to profile dont work after you open the profile once. its like the game doesnt want you to see or open their profile again. this is insane. so i coundnt report a player one match because after i had opened their profile once and closed out. it wouldnt open again?!?!??!?!?!? dumb
- when you look at the details in statistics and look at the players that where in the lobby, if you open the profile of said person from the lobby screen, the selection moves in the profile tab AS WELL as the statisic page, making you not able to open anything in said profile options.
- sometimes you just straight up cant look at the statistics from last game. It just won't load for you.
- I know you've all heard enough about the UI but here it is again. VERY REDUNDANT to have the EXACT. SAME THING. on the left of the screen as whats on top. like wtf?!?!!? just take the weeklies window and free daily items tab off the ui entirely. these are not hard to find in the menu on their own. this would free up a lot of space for say i dont know the load out of other players .
- knife and concertina bombs still bugged. sometimes dont appear anywhere from 1-5 seconds after you pull out knife/throw concertina bomb.
- some matchs i have started and NOT MOVED and i have a immolator on me right out the gate.
- we should be able to talk in the lobby. this would allow the team to communicate our strategy instead of just locking in our builds and jumping into the match. not sure why this is such a huge issue with hunt showdown.
- leading immolators to the river should snuff them IMMEDIATLY.
- Jumping after 2-4 times makes your character slow for no reason. is there a jump stamina bar we dont know about?
- mobs are STILL just randomly dropping into the map. like i see it. i go into a cabin or approach a compound and start pathing a certain way , then all of a sudden. BOOM mobs drop right in front or close enough to me that i aggro them. I thought this would of been fixed with the new update but i guess not.
im having a lot of fun with the game just mad about the ui stuff. and bugs that should of been fixed by now especially since the servers where down for 2 whole days. i'd rather they shut servers down for a whole week if it meant ironing out all the bugs themselves instead of relying on the community to do their quality assurance testing since i dont get paid to do that and come on here to voice problems with said game. great map. lots of fun. but lots of work still needs to be done. good luck.
- claiming your daily reward when you are qued or heck sometimes even solo. wont show what your item was until after you complete said match.
- just me here but i think the new hellborn monster should have as much health as a regular boss. hes way to easy to take down. having a more drawn out fight to ensure a team fight for it would be nice.
- Prestiging should NOT wipe all your upgrades. its bad enough that it reduces your hunt dollars to 8k and starts you at level 1. i think wiping all upgrades is overkill.

I dunno if you ever got a reply to this but i didn't see one, it's 40 meters for one intensity dropoff and 80 meters for a second. Before the recent nerf, it used to just be one intensity dropoff at 80.

I was reading the recent Steam reviews. Has the chinese region been unlcoked? Are there china based players in the NA servers? Do a lot of them hack? Aslo, I agree with 99.9% of people. The UI in the menu especially when fitting out your hunter is very very bad.

High ping is a massive disadvantage
While i agree that not ALL, even not the majority are hacking, it is an unfortunate truth that when you unlock China, all other regions have a significant increase in hackers. This is evident in many games but most of all PUBG.

In those rare cases, it should pick whichever region the total affect on your ping is the lowest. So if it makes them join NA region or vice versa should be decided by the game.

Well obviously it shouldn't just kick you out immediatly, that makes no sense.
That's an outlier. The main point is not to allow someone to intentionally join other regions to ruin their fun.
As an example, I had a rough connection for a short moment with my ISP where my ping spiked to 410, then went back to 50 after 20seconds.
Would not really make sense to kick me out of that game for that short time.
But even if your connection gets really bad for a longer period it should not do anything. Sometimes the server itself can be shit & give everyone connection issues, would be weird then aswell if server just kicks everyone out.

Just created a hot key to lock frames to 90 in menu. Now when I load in an out of games I just press Z and it locks and unlocks my limits rather than going into settings. Minor inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless

I'm not sure what you're asking. Since the update, burning a Player burns their health SO incredibly fast. Was not like that pre-update, and chokes last not as long, which is fine, but my god, the burn is so incredibly fast, it's like there are no more standoffs over your downed teammate unless you choke them RIGHT AWAY, which just gives up position. You use to be able to let it go for a bit and fight it out.

Sure, but I would argue it ain't the burn speed that is the issue, but the amount of "free" burn options.
Back in the days of old we had 3 ways to burn hunters; Fire bombs, Hellfire Bombs and Lanterns.
Because it was either giving up a consumable slot or finding a lantern, most trios would maybe have 1 firebomb and save it for situations where a stalemate happened.
Then solo necro became a thing...
There are lot of points about solo necro that has been discussed to hell and back again, but one of the core complaints were that:
- Solo Necro means you need to have fire ready at any time in case you down a solo.
- Solo Necro could bring back a solo multiple times, every time requiring a new instant of burn applied to their body.
So Crytek gave us burn on flares/fuses/starshells/dragonsbreath to mitigate that.
Yet the issue with Solo Necro persisted with many people complaining about having to spend a long time waiting for solo to burn or otherwise risk getting shot in the head 5 min later.
So Crytek nerfed solo necro AND the burn speed.
So now we are here, back to a low demand for burning, but still very high availability for burning.
If we reverted burning back to only Fire bombs, Hellfire Bombs and Lanterns, Hunt would be in a way more healthy state as people wouldn't pull out their flarepistol as soon you went down.
Interesssttttinnngggg. I deff played post all of that early stuff. Necro and Flare burns were a thing when I was introduced. I think it would be frustrating at first, but I could call for a revert back to only FB, HFB, and Lanterns.
OR at least make a flare burn so incredibly slow that it's almost a waste of a slot.

Supposedly once fix for this is to switch from "Toggle" to "Hold" for your map

This is hands down the worst UI i have ever seen in any videogame ever. Who was in charge of this redesign? CTRL to go back to party, holding down backspace to go to menu after a match, getting thrown out of the shop after every single thing you buy, having a whole new recruit window for free hunters and all. Everything about this is design hell.

No way. Burn speed is one of the best changes they have made.
I'd bring it back...a little bit...but I'm generally with you. I feel even more strongly about choke bombs. Those lasted way too long before the change.

I would agree but the suggestion to make burning speed different for items is very good. I think that cheaper stuff like the flare gun and signal flares shoud burn like half as fast as it is rn and the hellfire bomb should be 1.5 times faster because it takes up a more important slot and costs a lot more

I think that color of the burning icon in the menu should go from yellow for slower burning to red for faster burning. And in game i think that icon above your teammates skull should change from smaller flames to bigger indicating the burning speed

#feedback message 3* being campy makes sense, 5 and 6* lobbies are extremely aggro and fast-paced. Lower rank aren't as confident so they play slower.

its a terrible change and the body camping was only major complaint for solo necro but they gutted that by only being a single res like if we had these burn rates before with no necro changes then sure, its a change meant to equal out something that was irritating to deal with but pocket flares are just vastly superior to a fire bomb since its a straight shot you can burn bodys even at distance and instantly

I think the time to burn out is fine but it's too quick to burn off an extra bar. insta-flaregun is low-risk and yet also extremely high-reward. I'd prefer if it started off a bit slower then ramped up.
well honestly the burn out time is a teensy bit too fast, i'd dial it back just a tad to 2 per second from 2.5
and then salveskin can be 1.5 instead of like, 1.65. no idea why it's not actually 25% like it says, that was a weird change

it discards all spent casings always, so you don't have to take each spent casing out, so it reloads faster than the non swift scottfield unless it has all casings spent

The mako fills no niche gmeplay wise and is statistically mediocre. Buffing it would make it too strong, so it's just a "meh" gun that doesn't get used often
how unprofessional would it be if you guys set up a channel for if servers were live or not, but instead of updating messages within that channel, you just change the name from "server-status-up" to "server-status_down" like I am thinking of it rn maybe it wouldn't be so intuitive bc it's all lower case and hard to see initially, but it would be cool just to see a status icon just at the top of this entire server instead of comparing time zones and stuff 🐒
What the hell with cheaters?! Tons of them. Last game (duo), we are with reward, check vision - 2 guys far away 60+ meters. Less then a second horses start scream and they already on our position
Tons of wall hackers that try to kill you through walls without any knowledge (you could seat, came in fight, does not matter, they know where you are) or guys with aim that do triple kill in few seconds. I can handle bugs, but cheaters almost in each second game is hell

Yes on PS5. Been reported since the update multiple times in the bug report area here. Trying to save your HDR settings after you edit them or trying to back out of the menu causes the game to crash every time

I personally believe item and hunter skin rarity is not a great idea. It kind of blurs Hunt Showdowns's identity. In the current age of gaming I feel like people are exposed enough to this marketing tactic and that hunt stood out in that aspect atleast to me. A skin should not be common, uncommon or rare it should simply be a skin.
It's a leap I'll admit but I feel like the next step will be mystery boxes where obviously you'll have a chance to win a skin like every other FPS

Agreed, I hate seeing a DLC skin I paid money for DOWNGRADED from being a "Legendary Hunter" to "Epic Hunter". Almost feels like a bait and switch. Artificially devaluing something I already bought. A scumbag move Crytek.
I will say it doesn't really affect me I play one Hunter skin and don't really carry weapons with skins, but it's just an over all thing for me. I want Hunt to be unique in all aspects.

To me it's more that it tried to artificially assign values to skins and in cases can try to devalue something people already bought.
Hunter skins were all listed as "Legendary Hunters" and had their own tab and that was great. But now they are just given "Epic" and "Legendary" rarity status randomly, almost like people just flipped a coin to see which one they'd be.
Also with the removal of tiered hunters, all the lovely tier three hunters, some with really nice skins, seem to just be gone from the game. Like the tattooed, bald asian man or woman, hard to tell, the jump sounds female but the face looks male. The dude with the green cloak and twigs sticking out like he's at least trying to camo, and many others are just gone.
Also another thing bugging me, Hellborn should drop Scarce traits only, why does he almost exclusively drop Necro? Stop having him drop Necro. Any Solo playing already has it and most teams don't want it and get angry when they see it.
Ive never seen necro drop from him in about 30 encounters. Ive gotten a lot of remedy and rampage though

Remedy and Rampage at least make sense, they are scarce traits. Necro shouldn't even be in his drop pool, it should only be scarce traits. It's stupid to have this boss drop anything but scarce traits.
Speaking of things bugging me; How is the 100% consistent bug of the game freezing if you open the map when or right after a boss starts banishing something that made it to release? Like, did they playtest nothing at all?
I don't mind necro being in the pool as well with it being a burn trait now, sometimes it'll be nice to get another charge of it if you already used one in the match either as a solo or as a team

i find it very good, all you need is one shot to hit with fanning then you can ADS and finish the job with no luck involved

You can use a rifle for a mid-range or long-ranged fight, but still be able to engage quickly with people who sneak up on you.
sure sometimes youll rng into a headshot, most times youll just waste ammo and take longer to shoot

you have a revolver and someone in rotating and you catch them, you arent confident in hitting a headshot so you hold fan [often just 1 or 2 shots] until you get a hitmarker then ADS and get the easy gauranteed finisher
this is just one example
imo easier than hitting a headshot

My standard loadout is a rifle and a silenced nagant. When I have fanning I use it often
truth is, not everyone is a perfect player
we're not always gonna tap heads every time
im not saying fanning is never useful, but the double tap thing is more of a secondary gimmick, the close range kill is much more common
