Unfortunately, the new UI is really not very good.

• You need a lot more clicks and that in very important places
• In some places the overview has been lost (why does a completely new menu have to open when I click on a slot in my loadout - I would like to see the rest of my loadout while I am working on one slot)
• Filters and settings are often not retained... this either leads to a loss of overview or even more clicks

I have tried the game on PS5. I think there is camera stutter? And the menu is really laggy. Camera also has some weird movement when you aren't moving it anymore, and it's not stick drift.

The problem with the old ui was that it had too many submenus that didn't do anything, and now they've added more menus that don't really do anything but have to be clicked through to get where you want

Details: This new UI is made for people who like to play clicker games.
It's confusing and over complicated. The buttons are as large as the sun and I have to click 10000 times to do a loadout.
I'm scrolling more than I'm playing. I can't see any important information in a compact way, everything is scrolling, scrolling, clicking, scrolling, clicking.
For me it looks like you asked yourself: HOW SHIT CAN WE MAKE THE NEW UI! Maybe it's fun if you're using a Controller and love big buttons but i'm playing on a Computer and I'm really asking myself to quit the game.

The change to how equipping weapon charms works, is absolutely worse than it was before. I really enjoyed customizing individual weapons, this removes the ability to do so, while still having you constantly checking if you have the right charm equipped for the skin you are using. Its a solution to nothing, which incorporates new issues with navigating the UI and pre-game tedium. PLEASE just let me use which ever charm, on whichever skin, however many times I want, and make it stay on said skin until I decide to change it. THANK YOU FOR THE INCREDIBLE UPDATE!!

One immediate improvement that could be done to the UI is let us scale it down, some elements are unnecessarily big. I'm also not a fan at how many screen changes are necessary to do basic tasks that you'll need to do every hunt, or every other hunt.

The new UI makes the game feel like a mobile "gotcha" game. I really don't know how they thought it was any better. It takes 3-4 clicks for what used to take 1-2. Also, everything looks like an ad. I'm trying to play a game, not unbox five windows or navigate a newspaper.

Removing or adding traits feels bit too complicated now. Enter is such an awkward button to reach. Also i just had weird issue where instead of game removing the trait it kept toggling between exitting and entering full screen instead every time i pressed enter. It didn't remove or buy traits anymore until i alt tabbed on purpose and pressed caps.

And it asks "are you sure" for every trait now.. but for some reason doesn't when i wanna buy. So when i tried to fix the exitting full screen and pressed enter to test if it works or not i accidentally bought the trait i just removed!?

Also i do like how easy it is now to recruit hunters. But i have over 40 of them in my roster and it is way too hard to find the one i'd like to play now. Scrolling thru all of them takes a while. The old list was better - i wish you'd add an option to open or toggle between old list for and the new full sized character form.

The new UI is just diabloical, I can't see a list of my hunters at a glance easily at all, I can't see all my loadouts on screen at once, screen real estate is used poorly for almost every menu relating to loadouts/hunters.
I cannot see the full model of legendary hunters even remotely when selecting them any more, which is hilarious since I'm paying for a cosmetic skin, you can only see their shoulders over the monstrous UI.
The new in-game interaction font is much harder to read on any daytime map with the bleached visual style of the game.

I have found in the shooting range while testing weapons that your original starter loadout doesn't change in "my team" even if you swap to a new weapon. if you want to build a hunter with 4 pistols, each with different ammo and full consumables and tools, it's 14 screen changes for just the items. then you have to change screens for your traits, then your health bars

The UI is clearly the result of a decision taken at the highest level, by a person that does not understand the very essence of Hunt. This is an attempt to streamline or mainstream a game that is not mainstream and does not need streamlining, at least not in the vein of COD lobby UI's. Such a misguided decision just proves that whoever took it, does not understand what this game is, which is so sad to see. The implementation itself could have potentially been somewhere in the vicinity of 'passable', but for some reason it's not even that. So it's a failure at 2 levels: executive, and team. It is SO confusing and utterly shambolic.
