to be fair, it seems to have counted all players that collected any event points at all, or maybe even all players in general.
Where did it say that? Genuine question cause I certainly did not complete it
so it's hard to say exact %s of people who wanted and tried to finish the event but couldn't.

I imagine you can still get Stamina with Magpie in that combo but that doesn't necessarily make it unlucky. There are situations where that extra time on stamina would be useful

I don't see a need to punish people for getting away without a fight if they clearly manage to outsmart you.
Plus, plenty of the Extractions have LOS. Sure, there's a few that are pretty closed off. But that's a minority of Extraction points

For the new Stalker Beetle (which is awesome btw), if it doesnât already have this, then I think it would be cool to add:
1. An additional ability to silently (silent compared to the explosion but it still makes audible noise if youâre close) melt a trip mine, door, gate or window but it destroys the beetle in the process.
2. Additional ability to fly much more quietly for a limited duration ONCE or maybe you could channel a little HP constantly to make it quiet.```

If bounty is at Goddard for example and they spawn on it with extract behind them and my team spawns at hemlock, they end up on extract by the time we pass Lawson, how is this a failure on my part? And as another example for why your take is crap, I said it works for them 50% of the time, not that 50% of teams do this, this means that half of the people who try it succeed, luckily most people donât, either you have low comprehension skills or your goal was to low key insult me, either way you sound ridiculous.
If they would prevent people spawning on the boss people wouldnât have the problem I seek a fix for, my problem is not something that happens every single game, it is a situational problem, I thought I was pretty clear with my description but so far my critiques are only from people who clearly do not even understand the point.

I added additional information ontop of Finalls reply to you. At no point does that insinuate that I do not "understand".
Just because something is situationally a struggle, doesn't make it a wider problem to apply to all other cases. A flat increase to extraction is not a solution to situational issues with extractions.

I have some suggestions that could make it a little better than now..
1 - Change the way trait system works in Quickplay.. the most annoying thing is always having an useless trait; make it a choice out of 3 instead of beying full random.
2 - Remove the animation at the end... let me loot the hunters and guns.
3 - If someone quit the match, he gets punished and couldn't play for 5 minutes (also works for Bounty Hunt).

Bruh, sounds like youâre not good at the game. There is enough time to haul ass across the map the moment the bounty is banished, assuming to donât screw around with anything else.
Further to that, if youâre worried about them running, fire a stray shot. A shot is enough to make most players get to cover.
Further to the further, block extraction! Flank around between bounty team and extraction. Thatâs the most basic thing in the game!

@wary hinge Although the slingshot tool isn't a bad idea, it feels unnecessary because decoys fulfill that already - granted you cannot gather them for free but a bag of what 12? seems good. Not to mention a slingshot makes a distinct slap sound which could be audible. However, a tweak to decoys could be good... like holding alt in a noise trap (glass or cans) could allow you to refill your decoys so you don't "waste" a toolbox.

The Huot may be what the avto is based on, but there were several automatic firearms before it's time. The first automatic firearms were the Maxim automatic rifle invented in 1884, and the Ferdinand Mannlicher in 1885. Then, the Cei Rigotti which was invented some time between 1893 and 1897, then it was extensively used in WWI. There is also the Chauchat, patented in 1900 and used around 1907. Not trying to antagonize you or anything, just information that I think is interesting, as most people wouldn't assume automatic rifles existed so early. They just weren't very popular because they were unreliable.

Discord region ranks and player type ranks.
I really had a great time find people on the server. And often been doing chill lobbyes and noob friendly lobbys. One problem i have encountered is not all players reads your LFM in the [#eu](/guild/350201607788429323/channel/408378454061350913/) etc.
The suggestion is to have discord ranks the indicator what region you que on and type of player you are maybe a "beginner friendly" or "highly competitive". It would let players that are in here kinda have a idea when they click on your name for the steam friend code.
Region rank are rather simple just EU, NA WEST/EAST, Russia, etc
Just dont give permission to @ those ranks.

@quasi sun AI density wasn't increased since early access. In fact, some AI was reduced quite a bit in the past, for example hell hounds.

Maybe the AI just got more aggresive so the whole compound comes at you at once, I don't know, but something is different.
I was going to just contest the bounty guys, but then my brother signed on, so I decided that I had done enough damage throughout the match.
This wasn't the most eventful match, but Hotpeppers is getting a hang of the maps.
Been thinking this for a while, AI spawns have definitely increased since desalle got brought in. No idea if its intentional or a bug though

PVE players always want more AI and harder bosses. PVP just want to fight all the players, never letting them extract even if they don't have a bounty.

Small feedback / idea - For running in teams --- would it be possible to make each player have a different color outline / colored dot on the map and have your teammates names listed on the map when you pull it up. --- Currently with everyone being a blue dot on the map, and just a blue outline it can be hard to tell which teammate is where.
For instance
Player 1 is blue on map and highlighted.
Player 2 is red on map and highlighted
Player 3 is green on the map and highlighted

@marble shore I wish they addressed the fact that the event was not for casual player. But the only thing I found regarding it was a brief mention during the dev stream (QA after the beetle reveal). And that mention was not even a useful answer, just a generalised "we are looking into it", which helps no one.

Im curious why people are disliking a ping wheel, because it would help randoms out? Discord users can just ping and say "crows" without anyone hearing them. "Just use vc or text chat ingame" yeah and make your presence known just for pinging a trait? "Team up on discord?" Not a solution đ

flares take way more server-capacity as they are a lightsource and stay in movement and are in the air for much longer if enough flares are in the air that can completly fuck up a server
I voted it down because an accurate ping already denotes certain things (healing/supplies). A single ping with a white marker designates caution (sound traps or AI) and a double ping or red marker designates danger (enemy Hunters or traps).
A ping wheel overcomplicates things. I don't want to have to select a hard to read symbol on a wheel when I'm trying to convey stuff quickly.
pingwheel only popping up when holding down the ping-key otherwise keeping the ping-system the same would fix that
Ping wheel could probably work like in Apex; hold for the wheel, click for single/double click for red. There's also a lot of ping worthy things that dont have the icons yet: cash registers (especially BB ones), posters, money bags, traits, dead hunters, weapons. Simple alternative would be to add the icons for the rest of ping worthy things

Yeah, there are other reasons aside from the fact that I view it as unnecessary. If anything an updated ping icon for various things could be nice. But I've never been a fan of the wheel selector- it is better implemented on console than PC IMO.

@quasi sun I don't think increased AI has caused more camping. Whether there is more AI or less, sniper campers are going to camp because of how their weapons work. Now the issue here is whether sniper campers have to clear an area first, making a ton of sound in order to camp. Those going for bounties are going to kill grunts regardless of how many there are and don't care the sound they make.

You avoid the worms and you don't worry about the big guy attacking you. It's boring. Every monster should have a risk of potentially killing you. That's why the grunt rework is amazing. change weapon button and tool/consumable hotkeys arenât fully necessary buttons, neither is âready weaponâ, depending on how you set up your controls.
yeah and if you use gunslinger R3 becomes your melee
while the hotkeys aren't necessary the QoL they bring is immense because of the weapon wheel bug that has existed since launch where occasionally the game won't change to what you select on the wheel

The ping icons are almost illegible anyway. I would prefer less hard-to-read icons, not they increase the size of the icons or something to where pings become a nuisance. Regardless - more ping variety and a ping wheel just means more - UI work & programming and in the current state of the game I find that a poor use of dev time & resources.

@sturdy dove I would have agreed with you to remove infinite red skull revives, but there are so many campers who don't go for the bounty at 5 or 6 stars. If you remove more perks, no one will ever fight boss.
I am reluctant to ping these days because not only my teammates can't see underneath, I can't either. Much better to red ping since those fade away.
I think them burning a small life bar to revive a (red skull) dead ally would help balance it better.
i understand what you mean, but i think the removal isnt the way, i think there should be some form of limitation, like through "you can only revive once per bounty token, and for more you need to loot hunter" or that it take way longer, costs 150 health and there are like Lightning falling down on the point

There used to be an issue that allowed players to very quickly switch to and shoot their secondary.
The result of this was that you couldn't move from cover to cover since people with Mosin/Uppercut were able to two-tap you within a second.
@queen jungle i think you idea is create but i would limit it on grunts and that there spawn on some points many of them - that start walking towards the banishment of the boss maybe - to counter outside camping a bit - and so that there is more dynamik

The recoil of a mosin can make a quick follow up hard, so having a revolver like the Caldwell helps with survival. Hell even Medium ammo revolvers work well with rifles like the lebel

Time is not the best indicator of skill, as you could technically be playing wrong for a long time.

I regularly play with someone who has a KD greater than 3. He is the most agressive player i know. I don't think you can generalize a relation between KD and campiness.

This 100%, while fair matches are neat, my performance might depend solely on the kit I'm running, and 6-star lobbies seem to be 99% of the time a metaslave heaven.

Shooters for the most part work off of visual queues/animations. I see someone. If theyâre aimed at me, I move to cover. If theyâre not, then I fire at them. If the visual queue is not working and displaying different things to different players, that shit needs to be addressed ASAP.

These movements are impossible on console, to do that you need a sensitivity so high that your AIM should fly: he uses mouse or he has the double of the inches' neurocortex of a normal person

On console 6 stars players often uses the mouse, sometime 5 stars does it too and rarely i found also a 4 stars with it. Maybe to playing quickplay and intentionally losing can pull down the MMR? These thinks can't be explained neither with luckyness neither with ability: these events are too much frequent

I only wanted to hear the game developers to say that they are working to the problem as one of their priority when they live stream about the next update. On console this problem is not a rarity: if you are 5 stars you can lose up to 30% of the matches of the day against mouse users, if you are 6 stars it is up to 100% (because with 3 enemy teams is close to certain that one cheats on 6 stars lobbies, and you can find the same cheaters more times in the same day, I don't know if you use console, but it is too much clear). But I never heard something about it, it seems console players have no rights to enjoy the game
Throwing concertina on a downed enemy is the gentlemans burn. You deny a swift revive but do not burn him and force the enemy to make a rushed move.

Why is taking a screenshot of what you seen in game seen as forbidden material to be posted in reddit ?

So, this is just my 2 cents. What if these beetles were just either flying around on their own, and when they detect somebody camping, they gravitate toward their location. In this way, a team could use them as a visual that there may be a team camping ahead of them or something. They could also just perhaps slowly start to appear near people that have been in a specific area long enough. This would also then mean people wouldn't be using them as scouting drones, but also couldn't explode them, and stuff. This would just be an idea to make them a passive system to help other teams detect campers, and thats all.```

I don't think it fits the tempo of hunt, it's still really good you just have to aim well with it
it's good, yes, but it's nowhere near the overpowered monster it used to be. Whether or not it "matches the tempo of hunt" I think is entirely down to Crytek - they're keeping it in the game, they could change it to match the "tempo" more but I feel that's a very subjective metric
after all lots of people still think that Hunt should be all clunky single-shots and cycle-action guns with nothing even remotely modern in the mix at all

6 shots, decent reload rate, great fire rate, not bad range - it's almost as good as the dolch (I'd argue) for a fraction of the price and much sooner

There's no reason for a scouting and disarming consumable to deal poison and bleed damage. And if they don't want to reduce the range then add a timer so you can't sit on the drone for as much time as you'd like.

I'm almost certain it's all due to the usage%. You need to use combat axe to unlock throwing axes, which many people need in their kit.

Description: Buff medium to make it equivalent to medium fmj in dropoff, but dropping off at 30m not 40m. And buff medium fmj accordingly, and 40m to 50m (inbetween compact fmj 40m and long fmj 60m)
For example the centennial 2 shots around 60m, cent fmj around 85m. With this change cent normal would be around 75m, and cent fmj around 95-105
For a comparison to long, berthier and vetterli do the same damage. as of now FMJ 2 shots up to 88m, berthier around 140. After this change vet fmj would be around 105-110. So long would still be the stronger choice but medium fmj would be a viable option.
And buff the HS multiplier to be around 220-240m depending on the gun```
