I have an iphone 8 on 16.7.10. I keep following the instructions for installing palera1n, and I get as far as pongoOS booting, but after the palera1n screen pops up, it suddenly switches to the regular apple boot logo. No idea what to do; I reset the device and made sure not to enable a password.

i uninstalled the 2.2 from my computer, rebooted my phone to get out of jb state then downloaded 2.0 b8 and jb after actully

Hello! I just jailbroke my Apple TV running tvOS 15. When I launch the palera1n app, the option to install Sileo doesn’t appear. Anyone know what to do from here?

Sup JB community, question. are there steps anywhere on how to downgrade the palera1n version? On palera1n's site, they have steps on how to do the jailbreak (which I was successful with), but I don't see steps to downgrade. Thanks in advance.

I may sound stupid and I apologize if this is not in the correct location to post, but I am having trouble with my jailbreak. I am using an iPhone x on ios 16.7.11 I have palera1n installed on a usb and when I boot into my usb through my bios everything runs accordingly to the provided steps on their webpage, but when the phone reboots there is nothing on the home screen in terms of a loader application to then install Sileo. Any assistance is appreciated as this is my first time using palera1n.

When using checkra1n/palera1n on the iPhone 8/X running iOS 14 or later, you will not be able to use any of the following SEP features in a jailbroken state:

• Passcode
• Touch ID/Face ID
• Apple Pay

Additionally, if you’ve ever enabled a Passcode on iOS 16 on the iPhone 8/X, you’ll need to erase all content and settings in order to successfully jailbreak with palera1n.

So, the problem I'm experiencing may not be only because of my AMD CPU... I'm trying to jailbreak an iPad Pro 10.5" from 2017 on 17.7.10, and I get the same error. I earlier just chalked it up to my AMD CPU, but maybe it's not just that. Anybody have any info on what could be causing this?

Some differences, however, include that I'm using Linux Mint instead of Arch, my CPU is AMD instead of Intel, and I did the manual download since the installer script just gave an error

Huh, that somehow worked for me, too. Though, it took some figuring out since I didn’t know Download Mode was just the boot screen (I was waiting for it to boot into its jailed normal mode like it usually did on Mint, but it wouldn’t boot so I tried the force revert and it said that it was in download mode)
