I'm about to update my iPad Pro M1 (iPad13,10) from 14.5 to 15.1 using FutureRestore. I am currently jailbroken using unc0ver installed via AltStore and fugu14. I have valid blobs and both iTunes and iCloud backups. I want to preserve data; but I won't have the ability to uninstall (Restore RootFS) the now-broken jailbreak on the other side of the update. Will this cause a problem for me after restoring, or down the line if, say a 15.1 exploit comes out for Taurine but not unc0ver?

Well..... here's the situation... so the iPad mini 5th gen is jailbreaked on 13.6 today. I'd like to OTA to 15.1 because there's supossed to be a future jailbreak. Problem is, the apps I have are for aviation, and I require the jailbreak for the mods I've loaded to my apps. I was hoping I could delay OTA to 15.1, and in the event the jailbreak doesn't become available in a reasonable amount of time... go back to 13.6. Not sure if that's totally possible though

And every time a new version of the app comes out, I usually have to modify it somewhat because they renamed a variable. So.... without the ability to use Flex, not sure if there would be a way to get the app, modify it on a PC or Mac or somehow, and then load it back in. I do have an apple developer account to sign all my stuff.... just not sure if that would work or not

Just want to ask for opinions: I’m trying to wrap my head around what I did wrong Futurerestorng my iPhone 12. I follow the steps and download the version where the A14 issue has been fixed, set my nonce and apnonce, use the correct blob and SEP/BB when going to 15.1. and it looks like everything was working; but, as it was reaching step where the status bar on the iPhone screen was showing, it suddenly failed. And then seem to put me in a recovery mode loop where I couldn’t do anything; as a result, I then had to restore to 15.3.1.

If you attempt to futurerestore to iOS 15.2 beta 1, it will break your baseband (cellular/mobile network connectivity) and your device will be unable to activate, making it unusable until restored to a working version.

There are no known baseband issues when restoring to 15.1.1 and below or 15.2 stable and above.

I haven’t seen anyone having issues delayOTA on iPhone 11. I think you’ll be alright. DelayOTA is essentially native though. Just supervise the iPhone and then restore rootfs and reenable updates. Get the delay profile and update. Good to go.

replace username with your username
