yes, unless you saved blobs with blobsaver 3.0 and never updated or restored your device since then, your nonce is no longer the same and would need a jailbreak to set it

the reason checkm8-nonce-setter doesn't support iP8(+) is because it's missing firmware keys / patched iBEC/iBSS for it

basically the dev is just lazy

because firmware keys are on the iphonewiki

Succession should restore it to a clean state, it even has an option to create a snapshot for you

This should only be used as a last resort, since it's no longer maintained. Usually you can restore rootfs and then erase all contents and settings to achieve the same effect.

Currently you can restore to the following versions with the latest SEP and baseband for your device:

Devices that only support up to iOS 12 (most A7 and A8 devices excluding iPad5,1 - iPad5,4): 11.3-12.5.5

A9 and A10: 14.0-15.0.2

A11 devices:

• iPhone 8/8 Plus: 14.3-15.0.2
• iPhone X: 15.0-15.0.2 (restoring to 14.3-14.8 will break Face ID)

A12 devices and newer:

• iPhone SE (2020): 14.0-15.0.2
• Other devices: 15.0-15.0.2 (restoring to 14.0-14.8 will break Face ID)
