Yes if you use the -u option with futurerestore it hinders your ability to restore rootfs afterwards

but futurerestore should restore rootfs anyway so if you just jailbreak afterwards it should be fine

if so, restore rootfs with unc0ver, make a backup, jailbreak again and then restore with succession

after that restore from your backup and jailbreak again

I mean it's like 50 lines of code but basically:

1. request a nonce in normal mode, which makes the device set a random generator in nvram and will "freeze" the nonce until the next time a nonce is requested in normal mode (update check, iTunes sync, etc.) or an update/restore is performed
2. reboot the device to so it's actually booted up with the new generator set in the nvram, which is required to read it out properly in the next step
3. ask MobileGestalt for BootNonce which is the generator, base64 decode, swap the endianness, encode in hex

step 1 also uses idevicediagnostics/MobileGestalt to request ApNonce (except the endianness doesn't have to be swapped there)

could have also used igetnonce for the first step but that's an unnecessary dependency on yet another executable, and I need idevicediagnostics to read the generator anyway

1. idevicediagnostics mobilegestalt ApNonce (base64 decode->hex encode)
   2a. idevicediagnostics restart to reboot the device
   2b. poll idevicediagnostics diagnostics once a second to see when the device comes back on in normal mode and is unlocked
2. idevicediagnostics mobilegestalt BootNonce (base64 decode->swap->hex encode)
