and then just did a git clone
got that error
then I remembered that I can simply do a git pull
so deleted that new clone
and then renamed OLDlibfragmentzip to libfragmentzip and did a git pull
do a ./autogen.sh
that gives me the clear sign
then when I do make

So I'm new to the SHSH2 thing. I have used blobs back in the day but SHSH2 is new to me. I got it working for my XS and got them valid and nonce set on Unc0ver and it worked. I've heard that once its unsigned I can re restore my device with this method all the time? Heard rumors that sep's get unsigned too, so if that happens FutureRestore wont work with my blobs anymore even tho its valid with the nonce?

Because blobs are the actual way that Apple signs firmware/iOS updates for normal updates, you have to be able to update to the new iOS to get the new SEP, otherwise you just couldn’t update

well it may be also useful if there happens to be a JB for the current version but it’s buggy or something and you want to downgrade... but yeah can’t futurerestore if you have no JB/noncesetter
and Apple starting to make each 13.x.0 version’s SEP incompatible with the previous now makes it harder too

You cant upgrade to anything other than 13.5.1 unless you have an older device which then u could upgrade to something like 12.4.7 but that doesn’t help because that cant be jailbroken without checkra1n iirc

Hi,
I just went through the process on blobsaver of saving blobs, which says it was succesful however it's saved blobs for 13.5.1.
I'm jailbroken on 13.5. My question is how it's saved blobs for 13.5.1 and whether the blobs i've saved will be useful? Or have i missed the boat to save blobs now that Apple aren't signing 13.5?

I'm on XS, I got my blob through blobsaver. Blobsaver read everything from my device (I was jailbroken when it rebooted to get the apnonce) and then I got my blob downloaded. Is this now valid blob and can I just use that, IPSW and restore without any issues?
