My Checkra1n is getting stuck at booting... until the system resets and boots back into normal ios.

I Am running iOS 12.5.6 and I already jailbroke it 2 times before.
Now the battery ran out and I tried to rejailbreak it again and it doesent work. (The battery did not run out while jailbreaking, just while normally using it. A reboot causes the jailbreak to get removed.)

FilzaEscaped is an unofficial modification to Filza where you're able to modify system files without a need for a jailbreak.

What can it do?
On iOS 14 and below and below you're able to modify anything about the filesystem with little to no restrictions.

On iOS 15 you're only able to write to /var and /private/preboot.

You cannot do any sort of tweak injection, so your favorite tweaks like Atria, Newterm 2, and Snowboard will not work.

Is it safe to use?
The way FilzaEscaped works is with an exploit and a few bypasses, there's a few issues of this tool you need to bear in mind:

• Device can crash from navigating around the app
• Modifying certain system files will most likely cause your system to not boot. If you don't know what a files does, don't mess with it.
• Modifying your filesystem on iOS 14 and below can cause permanent changes that can be irreversible.
• Can cause device instability, e.g.: crashes from locking the device.

It's generally not recommended to use so proceed at your own risk.

I do not wish to keep any jailbroken files in the process of updating (no leftovers at all). Is there a tutorial on how to go about this?

• Passcode
• Touch ID/Face ID
• Apple Pay

When in a jailbroken state you can use BioProtect XS to protect your apps with Touch ID/Face ID.

Lockdown Beta and Checkl0ck allows you to use a fake passcode (Checkl0ck includes faceid and other features), but this is not real security, as the protection will disappear if someone simply reboots your phone.

i’m using checkra1n 0.12.4 to jailbreak my iphone 6+ on 14.6; it has worked well for me the last year or so; i’m running into an issue lately where Cydia isn’t showing up at all on my screen so i can’t update any of the apps i have installed with it. i’ve tried restringing and rejail breaking, it none of them appear to make Cydia load. When i click checkra1n app icon and select Cydia from that menu, it just shows cancel at the bottom, not an option to install.

i’ve also noticed and i’m not sure if this is related but when ever i goto jailbreak, at the step where it puts my phone into recovery mode, it always fails the first time, than reboots the phone and succeeds the second time. could this be related?

To block OTA updates, you can install a modified tvOS beta profile. This works even without a jailbreak. Note that the profile expires and will stop blocking updates on <t:1675141200:D> (<t:1675141200:R>). Check back after that date for a new profile.

You can re-enable updates by uninstalling this profile in Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management.

If you're jailbroken, you can also install the OTADisabler tweak instead, but note that it is harder to remove while unjailbroken.

Hello guys!

Im having a lot of problems - I tried EVERYTHING. Device is Iphone 6s, Ios version 14.6. I have and AMD Ryzen 7 3700x and a B450M Pro4 motherboard. The issue is that while trying to jailbreak the program goes through the same thing over and over: checking if ready, exploiting, setting up exploit, right before trigger and repeats itself. Help!

I tried with PongOS, i tried CLI, i tried DFU before launching checkra1n. Basically anything you can think of. I see that theres an issue with AMD CPUS, but I dont have an Intel one nearby.
