I felt like I remembered that when I rootfsd before, restoring my jailbreak restored all my tweaks and settings, but I am now very suspicious of that feeling. but its will take a while to go through all of them

you can rejailbreak, download filza, and then navigate to /var/mobile/library/Preferences and any tweak that had a way to configure it in settings will have a .plist file in there as preference bundles aren't deleted when restoring rootfs

Hi all, I have a question that I need some advice from you guys.
My iPhone Xs Max system version is now 13.5 and the latest SHSH2 I only have is 14.4. I have two options now, 1) Use future restore to upgrade to 14.4 but may not use FaceID. 2) Use Delay OTA to upgrade to 14.8 but fugu14 is not supported.
Which option would be better?

You cannot jailbreak your device if you update to 14.8 as a11 is not supported.

14.6-14.8 only works on a12/a13.

I installed a couple tweaks but notice that none of the tweaks are showing up in the Settings.app. Some examples of tweaks I installed that should show up in the Settings.app are Springtomize 5, Evil Scheme, and Liberty Lite (Beta)

hi guys! some quick help needed

basically had some stupid dpkg error and cydia/zebra weren’t able to install or remove any tweaks. i didn’t have terminal to fix it. and coincidentally my phone restarted so i lost my jailbreak a while back and no matter what i do it won’t work. rootfs also won’t work. same dpkg error.

my only option at this point is to reset my phone from settings ‘erase all content and settings’ and then restore with an iTunes backup.

is that safe or could that result in a boot loop?

Hey does anyone know how to fix ‘The network connection was lost’. error in Zebra/Cydia? I’m starting to think it’s got nothing do to with my network connection.

I can’t install any packages from any repos, it affects both Zebra and Cydia.

I have tried rebooting (both LDRestart and normal reboot & jailbreak), using cellular data and different wifi networks, resetting network settings, refreshing all sources, not in supervised mode and installing from different repos.

I can uninstall tweaks that’s not affected.

I’ve also noticed that AltStore isn’t signing itself (using AltDaemon), the app just crashes when the loading bar is full. It can sign Unc0ver just fine it just can’t sign itself. I’m not sure if this is part of the whole problem as well.

I do have UHB blocker installed but that normally doesn’t interfere with repos?

I don't know if my question is in the right place but I have a very annoying problem

I just bought an iPhone 13 pro and the volume of the alarms is 2 times louder than the ring volume

The alarms make me jump while the ringer volume is set so low that I can barely hear the phone ringing.
I did turn off the Face ID attention settings but that doesn't fix the problem.
I didn't have this problem on my iPhone 6S

Hello, does anyone know if we can Restore to iOS 14.8? I'm currently JB on iOS 14.8 but would like a fresh iOS that does not involve Restore RootFS. I know there are methods like iCloud Wipe/Succession etc but are there other methods for a clean iOS?

If needed I will go to the Apple Store to see if the problem comes from the phone or from this version of iOS

In the meantime I found a temporary solution, I imported a ringtone and reduced the volume (-18Db anyway to get something reasonable)

Hey guys I had my new iPhone 12 Pro on factory 14.4 opened last night and proceeded to do initial setup

I chose restore from iTunes backup and went on to usb connect

It started to restore after asking for my backup password and I went to sleep

Now after waking up I found that iTunes doesn’t see the device anymore and the device is on swipe up to upgrade screen

I tried force rebooting but I still get the same screen

Is the device auto updating to iOS 15? Or is this a part of restore from backup process and it indeed is not updating?

The only major road block is actually getting the device in a state where it’s in recovery mode and not DFU mode

Because if It’s entering DFU on its own then that means iboot is gone

And if iboot is gone that means pretty much a whole system restore of the phone is needed
