I really don't mind iOS 13, it's just that I know Apple too well and I don't know how long my device got before they'll stop bringing updates. Because they constantly unsign versions at an insane speed I never have enough time to evaluate whether I should update or not, also I was convinced until now that I could update to any unsigned version granted I had saved blobs, but apparently it is not true. So my fear is reaching the point where the last supported iOS version for my device is unsigned and I'm still stuck on 13.3.

I got the fuga14 jailbreak with uncover 14.4.0 iPhone 12 Pro and all worked except 9 out of 10 spisific tweaks that I look up on Cydia don’t show up. I know I’m spelling it right, but no tweaks show in the search bar. Some do like custom lock screens, but others that I know work/exist such as control center tweaks do not show when I search them up. Any advice on how to fix? I’ve tried shutting my phone off and reinstalling uncover. The tweaks that I’ve been able to download have been sucsesful and do work. Thanks!

Hi, question with installing unc)ver 7.0.2 on a ipad pro 2021(M1). I installed altstore 14.8 and ran the untheter installer. it installed a placeholder, ran some fugu14 stuff, and then told me to update in altstore. And then to return to the fugu app
Now when I return to the fugu app it hangs and crashes after 10 secs without anything changing. Should i try to install unc0ver without untether now or is it just botched?

I’m trying to jailbreak my iPad Air 2 on 14.8 with checkra1n.
I’ve tried the linux binary as well as the bootable version on three ryzen and two intel computers. Every time, the normal apple logo appears after DFU, and I boot into the unjailbroken state (no ssh, no hidden checkra1n app), while checkra1n shows the usbmux -79 error.
I managed to boot into PongoOS following this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/nds387/tutorial_checkra1n_workaround_using_pongoos_if. The iPad showed the PangoOS console with the checkm8te logo and the commands executing. After booting (bootx command in the bash script from the guide), checkra1n shows it’s successful, but the device is as unjailbroken as before. But this shows that the cable and my ryzen linux machine are not the problem, as far as I undestand it.
Any ideas on what I should try next?

I was following the instructions in ios.cfw.guide until i encountered the dpkg error. And when i tried it again, it says Error: Odysseyra1n is already installed. Restoring to any ios 14 version should be fine for you and yeah use the latest Sep. If you care about the Pegasus stuff you can go to 14.7.1 as that patches some security vulns.

Hello, I recently made a post on the subreddit and the AutoModerator mentioned that I could reach out here for some support. I'm using an iPhone SE (2020) running ios 14.3. I had been jailbroken for about half a year on this device, after finalizing my set up I had not really had any issues with the jailbreak at all. I had an uptime of around three or four months until just yesterday when my device froze and rebooted. I was jailbroken using unc0ver, I am not sure what version of unc0ver but I was unable to simply open the unc0ver app and re-jailbreak as I had previously done when running into issues with crashes and whatnot. Although the app was still signed thanks to ReprovisionReborn, I was met with an error when clicking jailbreak, the error state that the build was signed improperly. I looked to the subreddit for solutions but didn't find anything helpful so I removed the unc0ver application and went about installing the latest version of AltServer on my Windows 10 device so that I could install the latest version of AltStore on my device, I ran into a few issues while doing this but after factory resetting my device, I was able to install AltStore, I then went about sideloading the latest version of unc0ver but ran into some issues, here again, eventually working around them I managed to sideload the unc0ver application and went to jailbreak my device. Upon clicking jailbreak, I am now met with another issue, this time it states that the build has been tampered with. I have not been active in the jailbreak scene recently due to having such a long uptime with my 'perfect' setup. I have attempted to familiarise myself with recent changes that may affect my ability to re-jailbreak but I am unable to see any issues with what I am doing. I would greatly appreciate some guidance!
TLDR: I recently lost my jailbreak and am having issues re-jailbreaking my iPhone SE (2020) running ios 14.3 with the latest versions of AltServer, AltStore and unc0ver.

Before repair I saved a backup to my computer the phone was on 15.1. I tried restoring the backup to the new 14.5 phone and of course got a error.
I went in and changed the plist file to try and trick iTunes that the backup is 14.5 I got a error saying iPhone has been disconnected. Is there a way to put my backup on the lower version at all??

Ok so if I try to install Mac OS on the drive (it’s plugged in via usb) it’s just stuck at the 2 min bar I could try cloning the whole drive but the hard drive might fail if that’s the case. There is a 2gb (or maybe it’s a few more forgot the exact size) Mac OS X partition and that callus be the Mac OS install that’s on the hard drive can I just clone that to the ssd? Also how long is to long to leave it at this screen? (It’s just been stuck at the 2 min mark for a while wondering how long I should leave it before I stop it. Also everything I’m doing is in recovery mode).

no i mean for like until probably ios 16, apple is releasing security updates for ios 14 so if at some point you dont care about jailbreaking anymore you could update to the latest ios version, but in terms of reliability future restore would be better plus you can clean all the files on the device too
