The preferences folder is the setting for the tweak. If you deleted it, deleted the tweak and reinstalled it that means it’s fresh.

Just because your iOS is supported doesn’t mean it isn’t conflicting with one of your other tweaks. You can download a crash reporter and see if it gives any info but I don’t think it tracks safemodes.

I jailbreaked my iPad 6th Gen running iOS 14.4.2 with checkra1n and it worked well for a while. After I left the device aside for a while, the screen went blank and it’s not working/turning on. "Resolved, weird solution but as I was attempting to update my phone through iTunes and it got stuck updating so I just put my phone in recovery mode and it restarted and fixed everything, the jailbreak was still there and altstore could open, I no longer had to verify it. Restoring rootFS on unc0ver was there so I did it but it just showed something like a bunch of 0's and I could not open anything, I put it in recovery mode again and everything works now and the jailbreak is gone. Deleted altstore and my phone is now clean."

This is an issue hindering me from jailbreaking my device. Every time I try to open an application from a third party app-store, the app crashes and takes me back to the home screen. I’ve downloaded the app from multiple stores and this occurs with every app under the same certificate. I assume it’s an issue with the certificate but I’m not too sure. I’m on an iPhone 8 running iOS 13.3.1 and I currently do not have a functioning computer.

Everything is well except the fact that every time my device rejailbreaks, I need to ssh into it and kill backboardd for it to stop respringing/showing the apple logo.

After killing backboardd it runs fine until next shutdown

Alright, so I have an iPad 6 that is on iOS 12.4, and I figured it would be a good idea if I went ahead and updated it's iOS. The problem is, my iPad keeps only giving me iOS 13.5.1 as an option. I looked up the last iOS that this device can receive incase there was something on iOS 14 that stopped supporting this, but no it should be getting iOS all the way up to 15 even. I am currently on 12.4 and will lose jailbreak if I update if I can't get it to just 13.X or <=14.3. But that aside, how do I get this to get the proper update that is actually signed in the first place?

I tried deleting the update from storage, since it seemed to have already downloaded it in the past. Restarted the device, still only gives 13.5.1.

I have a small problem:

iPhone 12 Mini 14.4.1 JB with Fugu14 unc0ver

after I did my initial setup yesterday I rebooted and rejailbroke with the untether app to confirm everything was smooth sailing, everything worked so I deleted the duplicate unc0ver app and AltStore

now I rebooted again because I had a weird glitch with my Smart Band and now the untethered app won't open

I guess it was a bad idea to delete AltStore? so I guess now I have to redo the whole AltStore thing?
