I've been having issues with my JB and I'm planning to restore RootFS; problem is, I had to get my screen replaced a while back, and of course they fucked it up and FaceID hasn't been available ever since. I genuinely don't care about FaceID, I didn't use it before I got my screen replaced, I just need to know if that would prevent restoring RootFS from actually working. Hi all, today I downloaded a tweak called Iamlazy in order to create a backup of all my tweaks so I could perform a transition over from Unc0ver to taurine. The backup process was flawless, and so was the restore rootfs. However, now that I have jailbroken using Taurine and done a restore of Iamlazy, cydia is installed and I'm just wanting to know how I can go about removing this! After I jailbroke my w/ Unc0ver my Cydia app would not launch. I ended up deleting the Unc0ver app. Now I can't update and I cannot connect to iTunes. I tried a full restore via the phones settings but even after that Cydia still remains. When trying to update I get this error "Unable to Check for Update, an error has occurred while checking for a software update." Tried a DFU restore and iTunes gets stuck on "waiting for iphone" and the phone just boots back to normal state.

but my story is that I literally ruined my jailbreak (AGAIN) so I completely restored this time with succession beta and didn’t use a backup at all for it/I set up as a new iPhone. So I install altstore and it doesn’t pop up on my iPhone I have to reboot for it to pop up and then I sideloaded u0 and I had to reboot again for it to pop up on my home screen. No it wasn’t inside the app library or nothing. No i’m not jailbroken yet

No Taurine is the reason for a bad experience. u0 has horrible battery life but Taurine can’t even reboot userspace without my screen blacking out forcing me to reboot and rejailbreak
