I’ve been trying to get into my banking apps and Now TV etc, but it says my phone is jailbroken even though I uninstalled the jailbreak and updated my phone. Cracked screen Asurion replaced device. I am just hoping the new device firmware is below 14.3 but am unsure. Is it possible to set up the new device and not be forced to update?

Device is XS Max
I have devices running 13.3
And 12.3.1 that I tried to restore to as well as doing a manual set up with no success. Any ideas or has anyone had success setting up a new device without updating? Thanks in advance.

If it has a small screen with square edges, in the body of an iPhone 5S, it's a 1st gen. If it's large and has rounded edges, in the body of an iPhone 8, it's the 2020 model.

Google Images or the iPhone page on apple.com should show you exactly which one you have. They don't look similar at all.

Yeah you should sell it for more if you aren’t, use succession beta though for ios 14. Also yeah it will restore but stay on the same firmware. Say the the phone is jailbreakable and sell it for more 😉

To block OTA updates, set your date back to March 31, 2021 or earlier and install the iOS 14 profile from https://gginin.de/jb/no_ota.html. After that, you can set your date back to normal. It will work until January 31, 2022.
