uncoover wasn't loading even with the safari clear cookies trick. so i uninstalled figuring I could re-install through my hackintosh a signed version of unc0ver

but xcode is failing to install on this iphone x

error message is merely "unable to install"

the unc0ver has been signed throough ios app signer, and i have a paid developer account

tried to jb with checkra1n but i keep getting bootstap failed error # -18... almost got me stuck in a boot loop but thankfully the phone recovered

all i'm really looking to do at this point is restore rootfs. the user doesn't want to be jbroken anymore. do we have a new fun way to load u0 jailbreaks these days so I can do that?

Hello, I want to swtich to Taurine from unc0ver. I had a lot of problems with restoring rootsFS with u0, I couldn't make it so I installed Taurine to resotre from there. I think it broke even more things because I was stuck in a loop where it was saying in order to complete the resotre I had to restart my phone but after doing so I still had Substitute and Cydia app istnalled. I wanted to try to jailbreak with u0 again to manually delete jb files but it was failing to jb my phone. After a couple of tries I have managed to restore with Taurine and I no longer have Substitute app, however I can still see Cydia and Filza app on my homescreen, does it mean it has failed or am I good to jb with Taurine?

Don't use iCleaner to disable tweaks, this is why: iCleaner modifies the filesystem to disable tweaks which is a bad practice. It renames thew tweak dylib meaning after you remove the tweak with it still disabled in icleaner, the tweak file still remains on the filesystem even though it is supposed to be gone. This also affects the effiency of the the tweak injector eg substrate/substitute/libhooker. It throws errors because it can't find the dylib to inject. The better way to do this would be to use choicy/libhooker configurator which tells the injector not to inject the tweak in the first place. Choicy is a bit hacky because it has to be so it still causes errors. Libhooker configurator is the most stable way to disable tweaks but it requires a libhooker jailbreak(chimera/odyssey/taurine/odysseyra1n)

This is an oddly specific question. But i’m having an issue as of last night from what im guessing is an OTA update of the music app and apple carplay. Every time i try to display my music on carplay, the music app crashes. I thought it was just my phone being buggy or my car being buggy so i restarted my phone and rebooted my idrive system multiple times. Even resorted to updating my phone to ios 14.5.1. i dunno they've always done that. old friend installed a bunch of stuff ages back and i removed all the repos so i can only assume thats why

I’m assuming something might’ve been from a bad repo and/or the wrong version , I would restore rootfs and see if your music works then

So ive been having some major ass issues trying to get AltStore to download. Everytime I try and install AltStore to my iPhone SE on 13.4.1, I get a popup saying "iCloud not installed", when it is, I go to manually pick the files, and nothing happens. I'll try again, and it's the same story. I've reinstalled the program a few times now, restarted my laptop and iPhone and I have no clue what to do.

Uninstall everything related to Apple , iTunes , iCloud , drivers , bonjur...anything . Reboot then reinstall

I’ve done that. Purged my laptop of all Apple apps, all the AltStore ones. I’m in 13.5.1 on the SE and everything I’ve tried hasn’t worked
