because i forgot my iphone passcode, i had to restore it to the latest version. i have full access to my icloud account so i got past the activation lock, and i'm signed in again to the icloud account. but in order to access keychain, it still wants the old passcode. i don't believe i have anything in keychain that i care about -- i have all keychain passwords backed up. this section that asks for the old passcode counts failed attempts. if it reaches 10 attempts, is everything in keychain deleted and i can use it fresh again, or am i gonna get locked out of my icloud account entirely? basically, what happens if i fail?
for the record, i'd like to preserve my notes, photos, and icloud email address, and i'd lose those if i got locked out of my account. i just need to know what happens if i fail, and if you know whether or not i will be required to put this information in.

well I figured out that If I install checkra1n(0.12.1) on my iPhone(8+, 13.5) with safe mode it gives me a USB error code 77 so I turned my passcode off. Same scenario occurs if I use a genuine apple USB-A to Lightning cable rather than an off-brand, and also with and without safe mode enabled. Not sure where to go from here.

It is jailbroken with unc0ver, but the jailbreak broke due to the ipad running out of battery and rebooting. Since I didn't really have all that much use for my ipad, I just kind of left it in that broken jailbreak state for a few months. The issue is that now I am getting a new ipad air 4 and want to transfer the data, but I know that right now my ipad is still in a "kind of jailbroken kind of not" state where I can't do any of the jailbreaking stuff but it still has traces of the jailbreak that will make apps reject me. What would be the best way for me to get unc0ver back onto my device so that I can uninstall it? When I went to the jailbreak guide, it just tells me to install chimera, which i can't do without removing unc0ver...

I'm currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max, so I basically have no option to jailbreak at this point. I'd like to obtain files from an App (Steam). Unfortunately, they have fixed the backup method where you were able to browse the backup with iExplorer and obtain the files from there.

Hi, so I just ran succession, and everything worked great. Except I went to the update section in settings and it can’t check for updates. I assume this is related to u0 disabling checking for updates, I should of thought ahead. What do I do now to get it working?
