I mean it could work with traditional concept, just not the way you are doing it. Even if its static dispatch, if it has a symbol then it should be possible.
nah the framework that handles orders is written in pure swift
Its a lib, so it should have symbols.

❤️ k thx
I swear someone has code of doing what I want, but I don't know how to google it
lmao if someone does have it, its not public
google won't help you there
I don't know the details for MSFindSymbol

lol same, surprised no one has released something
even finding tooling to dump is hard
Thats not very portable
I believe dlsym finds exported symbols and MSFindSymbol can find anything that's in the Mach-O symbol table
I'm seeing them on a debug build
@faint timber what's new with qemu?
I woke up from this crazy dream that I went to a subway at a … mazda dealership
and had to talk about how much I loved mazda cars with the employee

Hey I gotta question for you all

If you make a project and then you decide to open source it for everyone to use. Then someone else comes along and take some part of the project uses in it their project without crediting you. How would you react to it?
uhhhh
Grupi
tbh i'd be pissed but you signed yourself up for that if your license sucked
and if they were supposed to credit, just DMCA then
depends on the license, what's the context?
i like the scenario where it’s unlicensed but you’re just a cock and abuse that fact
put them on a Anyone But License next time
unlicensed = all rights reserved
GitHub allows people to fork unlicensed code but no further rights (to redistribute outside GH or modify it except for making PRs)
u can't use it if it's unlicensed dumb cuck

your mother
^
I don't really care to put a license, but we are talking more about the ethics not really the license rights
not unlicense hayden
im just
unlicensed with da D
I use windows x64 with brave and nordvpn, also i like notepad and visual studio
notepad++ sir
notepad++ is the og

anyone but license, the best
exactly
@grave sparrow Wait, if I know the swift type of a property, is there a way I can read it?
open your eyes and look at the property

I can’t get silica to display my banners and screenshots
My dumbass understanding is that I can read isPreTippable from objc right? https://stackoverflow.com/a/26366289
swift structs require magic hacks

what’s redacted v3
oh

you aren’t doing it on the right view or you aren’t doing it at the right time (method)
I wish I could go to Pakistan

@grave sparrow #define { 🤪
ok so you can rewrite doom in all MOV but you can’t define {
nice.

Looks so out of place
me and the boys spending 90% of effort on preferences knowing damn well people will look at them for 30 seconds max
now do it in swiftui
oh wait, swiftui doesn't even let you color switches

actually swiftui 2 does
swiftui 1 you gotta do it yourself
there is a swiftui 2?
.

false
yea 12 = legacy
ios 14.3 and lower is legacy

please consider pressing this button
i’ve said that a few times and it worked a few times
great method to get rid of people
well
im gonna be making my tweaks with orion

In finder -> Right mouse -> Clean up
ah thats better
help
tbh I have no experience with dragonmake

Isnt there a way to open an app in the background programmatically? I swear i remember doing it at one point.
via springboard of course
Hey, how does on get the "CydiaIcon.png" but from bigboss repo?
i can't seem to find the Packages file on it as well
BigBoss isn't in the "simple" repo format, so things won't be where you expect them to be
Do you know where they are and also are any other repos like this?
I’m making a tool and i need these datas
@rancid ledge you can probably see the format by looking at apt.bingner.com - but it’s sort of hybrid of both formats and supports either simple or not-simple
Thanks but what do these numbers mean?
Also, is there some kind of way to get these without messing around like this?
like sending GET request to the repo with some headers?
scrape it?
I need to replicate the same thing that for example Zebra, Sileo or Cydia does when you add the repo

what would you scrape from it if you don't know the directiories?
not possible
i already can scrape the newer repo format
Alright, i think i understand the format, i found the bigboss icon at http://apt.thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia/dists/stable/CydiaIcon.png, though i can't find the packages
that's the kernel version
for simple repos you won't need to make dists like that, bootstrap repos tend to use that format
thats my phone numsh
Well, how do the packagers resolve this?
sorry not kernel version but CFVersion (Core Foundation)
I think you the highest one that's less than or equal to the current CFVersion is used, but yeah, package managers themselves don't tend to resolve dist based repos, you manually put it in /etc/apt/sources.list
I know i know, but if i would want to replicate how the package manager gets its data how would i do it?
an entry like this:
deb https://apt.procurs.us/ iphoneos-arm64/1700 main
these dist based repos are generally hardcoded and can't be added manually without editing sources.list
for example Cydia on unc0ver/checkra1n comes with the Bingner repo with the correct version bundled by default
I'm confused, i don't know if you get me or i'm just getting this all wrong
I'm making it in node.js, so things like this don't matter to me, i'm making sorta repo viewer
grab the main url, fetch the packages.<whatever>, extract to plaintext, parse as needed and make a pretty view for displaying the items
although you’d want to cache the repositories and refresh on-demand
else it’s unnecessary traffic for the repos
@rancid ledge
to find what is gotten from where, just sniff your network traffic and profit, unless it’s documented somewhere
I forgot i could sniff the traffic, thank you!
I know about the unnecessary traffic for the repo, so i'll keep it in mind to optimize it
well, if it's a repository browser, you should probably just fetch all dists and merge them somehow, unless you want the user to specify which version to use
but the majority of repos won't have this
only ones I can think of is bootstrap repos like Bingner/Elucubratus and Procursus, and BigBoss (though that just has a stable dist, not using CFVersion, so that one can probably be hardcoded)
https://reddit.com/r/TweakBounty/comments/m1i7yv/10_142_custom_folders_in_the_app_library/
Can one of you guys lmk of this tweakbounty is even possible?
If it isn’t I’ll probably just give up on the idea
12 votes and 2 comments so far on Reddit
pretty sure it is possible, I saw iOS storing the categories on the filesystem somewhere
Oh good that’s reassuring!
Do you know any devs who’d be willing to take the bounty?
I kinda lost hope when I didn’t get comments from any devs
There are 2 more people contributing to the bounty rn, but I can consider adding more myself if it’s necessary
Twickd is down because of a fire in the datacenter
Oh rip
Lol so delayed lmao
A fire tore through a data complex housing servers run by cloud computing company OVHcloud in Strasbourg, eastern France, destroying some units and forcing the temporary shutdown of others, the company’s chief executive said https://t.co/MMk6FhYroJ
Damn
L
Is there anywhere else I can find a feature list for lynx 2?
Most likely not while server is down
Awesome
Thanks for letting me know abt that
I asked around for a while and nobody knew anything
Lol no problem
Hmm nvm I don’t think it does what I was looking for
Only basic stuff like disabling the App Library and stuff like that
I screen recorded it for you
Looks cool but unfortunately doesn’t have what I was looking for :/
I still have a $30 bounty if someone has the time to build a tweak that does what I need tho
what are you looking for
is it posted

^fixed the link
is this https://wtmoo.is/ask worthy
Yeah I just didn’t want to fully repeat myself bc the chat never changed topics and I didn’t wanna seem annoying
But yeah I want someone to make a tweak to enable app drawer customization (like custom names and custom folders) for me and 2 other ppl and were willing to pay $30 for it, but I can consider more
Is that not already a thing
Ikr I was surprised that it’s not
I did it’s the top post from the last day
But still no dev comments

Custom folders as in being able to make your own folders instead of the automatic ones
Yeah I just might
I originally asked here to see how difficult you guys think it would be for someone to make and if I should adjust the price
allah
How much should I increase it by?

Lower it to 1 GME stock and I'll make it

I might increase it another 20 at most bc I don’t really have all that much money to spend on tweaks
But I feel like whoever would make it could release it as a paid tweak and it would probably be pretty popular
Don’t ya think?

dm.pl: building package `dev.mateowang.videopace2:iphoneos-arm' in `./packages/dev.mateowang.videopace2_0.0.1-1+debug_iphoneos-arm.deb'

didnt expect it to be that long sorry
git clone https://github.com/quiprr/iPhoneOS14.0.sdk
and change target line to TARGET = iphone:clang:14.0:10.0
cuz i said so
oh wait
i think its already yours
ok
change latest to 14.0 or 14.4

but i did this
Alright thank you so much
i have an ipa that i converted to a deb and it only works on checkrain not uncover
Ahh after this, what kind of documentation do you suggest to write preference bundles?
I kinda wanna make it so that you can enable/disable on an app by app basis :)
it crashes on unc0ver is there any difference between the jailbreaks signing wise?
lol
das me as well
guys guys
what are the odds
new phone
comes on 14.3
place ur bets
give me the money

yeah
@lethal ice METH

please kill me

Is a14 arm64e?
no it’s armv5
Looking for archs type
So archs = arm64e
@faint timber I didnt see your reply this morning. Ive been looking at springboard and havent come up with anything on how to spawn an app in the background. Any clues where I should look?
Don’t @ everyone lol. It didn’t even ping them but I am kinda wondering the same. Not sure if they are trolling or not. I read a14 is like armv8? @heady raft
@heady raft id drop armv7 support. If someone is using a device that old..
drop armv7, add armv6
Why is everyone trolling this guy
Just to confirm. Building an app for a14 would be archs=arm64e
seriously, wtf is wrong with ya'll. dudes asking for help. Shit, should I be in a different discord group? This place used to be helpful, its all memes and bad jokes
@heady raft look at your make file and remove armv7 to see if it fixes the error
should look something like this: ARCHS = armv7 arm64
try it to see if the error is resolved. if it gives you the same error for arm64 its prolly a different bigger problem
if you don’t have armv7 support you either need a new sdk or a new toolchain
or both
I was looking at SBSLaunchApplicationWithIdentifier, i guess i dont see the suspended param. is that what the true/false is for?
like: openApp= (int(*)(CFStringRef, Boolean))dlsym(sbServices,"SBSLaunchApplicationWithIdentifier"); openApp(CFSTR("com.apple.mobilephone"), FALSE);
I have no idea, I got that snippet from a stackoverflow, they had it set to FALSE. so im assuming false is cuz its asking for isSuspended?
looks like thats what its for
int SBSLaunchApplicationWithIdentifierAndLaunchOptions(CFStringRef applicationIdentifier, CFDictionaryRef launchOptions, BOOL isSuspended);
oooo nice. i wonder what can be in launchOptions
dyld flags maybe
idk
int SBSLaunchApplicationWithIdentifier(CFStringRef applicationIdentifier, BOOL isSuspended);
this also is a function
great, thanks. I wonder if those launch option could be for something like SBApplication's flags
like these: Other Known Activation Flags Flag Setting 1 Launch without animations. 8 Force launch animation to use app's context view instead of a snapshot. 11 Delay launch animation. 43 Set the app as the "Now Playing" application.
I guess it doesnt matter
im sad, debugserver used to be able to launch from backboard
but it hasn't worked since iOS 11 or 12
even suspended too
@vivid dew hello everypony
@vivid dew please just accept me for who I am
Idk if any of you guys even care but I made a concept for that tweak idea I was talking abt earlier
That defeats the entire purpose of the app library does it not
That's what the home screen is for
How do you mean?
Before iOS 14 I had my folders organized on the Home Screen
The nice thing about the App Library for me is that I can move all those folders to a separate screen, but I want to be able to organize those folders the way I want them organized
app library sucks
health using it's own folder for 1 app

I hate the sideloaded apps folder that’s just your first and last name
And i hate how it’s separated from jailbreak apps
frcoal
I was so confused when I found out that they don’t let you change anything
Is there really a separate TestFlight section
Why
bc apple™️
anyone else having an issue where theos is using the wrong ld
i looked it up and people said to remove the prefixes from the toolchain but that didn't help

@lime pivot pogterm update
it’s very pog

non nitro gang
@tepid olive I forgot to mention the most poggers part of it https://twitter.com/hbkirb/status/1369934039491080194

OH SHIT
actually exciting
like actually
i will put it to the true test though. i will compile ncurses on my ipad in newterm

omg
newterm used to crash then?
This still gets me everytime
rather it would fire UI updates every time the tty was written to, easily bogging down the main thread and eventually causing a watchdog termination when tons of writes were happening
now it only updates 60 times a sec on a timer
Aah yeah that makes sense
still needs improvement because the actual rendering still isn’t fast, but it’s far better than it was before
Had the same issue with unc0ver iirc
i.e. actually usable at all
I essentially wrote half a terminal I guess
nowadays SwiftTerm ends up being an ideal solution for the kind of terminal you have
but maybe a tad overkill
if anything else, just having dpkg warnings show in yellow would be fun 😛
I had it happen whenever a write happened but not more than once per millisecond I think
Or per 100th of a second
Yeah that’s still ms I need to sleep haha
So if it happened too soon it just queued an update for later on and ignored it until then
/sleep
Please add hold to delete
me when altstore shows up in the testflight section
hold to delete what?
In new term like you press and hold on iPhone keyboard in apps it deletes but in newterm it deletes one char then stops
that's NewTerm 2.5 though, afaik previous versions had the issue
Hard to follow without a jailbreak
@lime pivot do ncurses games look good in newterm now?
i think MyMan was a big offender

betterdiscord moment
BetterDiscord is a loss
i have no reason to use a client mod
nah I disabled the emote conversion thing
I used it but bdcompat bugged out with some plugins
and mods that make the stock client worse are better?
then dont use bdcompat
how
the whole security breach that happened should've made that obvious
yes thats why theyre making a new version
just dont download sketchy plugins
i'll decide once its actually a thing
problem solved
powercord gives me lag with 0 plugins installed
so as far as im concerned its not lightweight
and having the daily update is also annoying
yeah it's annoying, but with BD you have to manually re-run the installer instead occasionally
.
english is easy
me in everything except english
yea
but i cant get it right
so its always wrong

im looking into making status bar icons is there a good guide to get started?
lol
seek through the section you need and check the anemone wiki as needed
@sullen temple
yay ty 🙂

oh
was too lazy to find an updated SDK so I just downloaded the header fro limneos
but iOS 13.3 is supposed to have UIKitCore too so what I had seems incomplete
oh wait
it already exists under PrivateFrameworks, it just needs a Headers subdirectory which I didn't do in Frameworks
oh wait this is the way to make it look for PrivateFrameworks
NoShortcutsBanner_PRIVATE_FRAMEWORKS = UIKitCore
idk but now I got a different error
Nah that does -framework UIKitCore which would mean it adds the includes path and does the linking
i don't think i've ever included a private framework header and not gotten an error
i just make the interfaces myself
Though UIWebClip sounds like something that should be in public framework
Also use UIKit, not UIKitCore. Unless you are going for iOS 12+, but even then I wouldn't trust apple to not change that again.
well I'm targeting 14.3+ with this bc it wouldn't work on older versions without extra code
not terribly useful when you can use SnowBoard/Anemone but it's possible to permanently remove the banner when opening home screen shortcuts and have it persist to jailed state
14.2- is different because it opens the shortcuts app
although... for single step shortcuts, it may work on 14.0+ because TargetApplicationBundleIdentifier was introduced there
possibly even 12.0+ with manual webclip fiddling but not so sure about that
fires up Corellium
this tbh
there’s no reason to link uikit core because uikit will do it for you

Just you, there totally isn't a theos issue for it
i looked at the issue but nothing worked
it's been open for 9 months so i was wondering if anybody solved it themselves because none of the solutions that were in the issue worked
unless i'm just dumb
Hasn't been solved, and hasn't been reproduce-able except on specific environments
Most of those environments have been Ubantu so I am going to go on a limb and say its a bloat issue.

What do people use to get things out of the shared cache i jtool is crashing on 14.4

Is this how to properly manage the objects?
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(1, 0, 0, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 1, 0, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 0, 1, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(.75, .58, .27, 1),
};
color.values = (__bridge NSArray *)CFArrayCreate(NULL, (const void**) colorsArray, 4, &kCFTypeArrayCallBacks);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[0]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[1]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[2]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[3]);```
Just store it as an NSArray
Or wait that wouldn't work since you are using CGColor.
Looks right memory wise
Assuming owner ship of that CFArray is taken by the color object.
how do you guys afford ida
we dont
Eyo anyone had ever made a editable list with custom controller ?
He is bridge casting a c array to an NSArray...
Im wondering if I can specify with which init method my controller will be initialized, like
PSSpecifier *specifier = [PSSpecifier preferenceSpecifierNamed:@"Name" target:self set:NULL get:NULL detail:NSClassFromString(@"MyController") cell:PSLinkCell edit:Nil];
Oh fuck no he isn't
Nah he bridge casting a CFArray that he created from c array
I can't read
Yeah I made the same mistake
Now that I think about it that CFArray is probably leaking

working
Yeah the assignment takes a ref but he never releases the ref from creation
Uhh why do you need a custom init?
then when clicked it's loaded with some initWithPrefs instead of a regular init
Uhh are those prefs argument different for different pages?
I have one, but how to assignate it dynamically to that specifier
why is that so low
I get paid over 16 wtf
It should be 15
@prisma grove CFArrayCreate returns a CFArray with a refcount of 1, setValues: will then increment this to 2, and the ref from CFArrayCreate will never be dropped so you are leaking the CFArray (and therefore all the CGColorRefs too)
Pretty sure the colors gets released fine, the CFArray could be used for UAF though.
and sales tax
It should still be 15
Does CFArray increment ref count?
and payroll tax
and property tax if u wanna own anything
I thought it did but I'm not totally sure now
if it doesn't increment the ref count then the 4 CGColorReleases is not good
yes it does increment the refcounts
The retain callback is used within this function, for example, to retain all of the new values from the values C array.
hello what's happening

Im making a PSEditableListController.
Im dynamically loading my specifiers (let the user add or remove some), creating them with
PSSpecifier *specifier = [PSSpecifier preferenceSpecifierNamed:@"Name" target:self set:NULL get:NULL detail:NSClassFromString(@"MyController") cell:PSLinkCell edit:Nil];
then insert them to my MainController. But I want each specifier to init the MyController with a custom init like initWithPrefs. Rn I have a solution, where I am adding
[specifier setButtonAction:@selector(setMyController:)];
with setMyController being
- (void)setMyController:(PSSpecifier *)specifier {
MyController *myController = [[MyController alloc] initWithSpecifier:specifier];
[self.navigationController presentViewController:myController animated:YES completion:nil];
}
But it feels dirty to override the button action just to modify the init method of the said controller
Im trying to be as clear as possible
PSSpecifier have a @property (nonatomic) SEL controllerLoadAction; im wondering if that can be used or if its not related
Well not really dirty. But in this case, why not override the specifier getter method of MyController to load your prefs their instead of creating a new one before the controller is created?
You mean this getter ?
[PSSpecifier preferenceSpecifierNamed:[...] --> get:NULL <--detail:NSClassFromString(@"MyController") [...]]
@interface MyController : HBListController
Right so HBListController inherits from PSListController which has a -(NSArray *)_specifiers method.
And an alloc method
Yeaaah.... ?
So use that method to create the specifier, like prefs are usually implemented.
Okay, 19 dollar fortnite card. Who wants it?
and yes I'm giving it away, remember, share share share.
And trolls, DON'T GET BLOCKED!
nscock
Create what specifier ? I dont want to create any specifier, im already creating my specifiers like I said above...
I create my specifiers with preferenceSpecifierNamed of type PSLinkCell and need to display when clicked informations stored in my prefs.
Prefs look like:
NSDictionary {
"id" => { @"Foo", @"1"}, <-- First specifier of my PSEditableList
"id" => { @"Bar", @"2"}, <-- Second specifier of my PSEditableList
"id" => { @"Else", @"3"}, <-- Third specifier of my PSEditableList
}
I want to initialize the MyController with something like initWithPref:[prefs dict[index]] to then be able to display the right name or whatever value stored.
What you suggest wont allow me that since when I will be in _specifiers inside MyController, I won't know if I've clicked on the first or third one etc
Then there is no way around creating and pushing the view controller yourself.

Sorry for bothering then, I hoped that there was a 'cleaner' way to achieve this instead of creating it myself
Thanks for the help!
So would this be better ``` CGColorRef colorsArray[] = {
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(1, 0, 0, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 1, 0, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 0, 1, 1),
CGColorCreateGenericRGB(.75, .58, .27, 1),
};
CFArrayRef colorValues = CFArrayCreate(NULL, (const void**) colorsArray, 4, &kCFTypeArrayCallBacks);
color.values = (__bridge NSArray *) colorValues;
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[0]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[1]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[2]);
CGColorRelease(colorsArray[3]);
CFRelease(colorValues);```
or this
CFArrayAppendValue(colorValues, CGColorCreateGenericRGB(1, 0, 0, 1));
CFArrayAppendValue(colorValues, CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 1, 0, 1));
CFArrayAppendValue(colorValues, CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 0, 1, 1));
CFArrayAppendValue(colorValues, CGColorCreateGenericRGB(.75, .58, .27, 1));
color.values = (__bridge NSArray *) colorValues;
CGColorRelease((CGColorRef) CFArrayGetValueAtIndex(colorValues, 0));
CGColorRelease((CGColorRef) CFArrayGetValueAtIndex(colorValues, 1));
CGColorRelease((CGColorRef) CFArrayGetValueAtIndex(colorValues, 2));
CGColorRelease((CGColorRef) CFArrayGetValueAtIndex(colorValues, 3));
CFRelease(colorValues);```
What is color and color.values?
color is a CAKeyframeAnimation and colors.value is an array of objects that specify the keyframe values to use for the animation.
If you don't want to worry about memory then create UIColor and then get the CGColor from that. Which you can store in NSArray without having to mess with CF or CG.
I did do that, but I just wanted to try this for a learning experience
Ah
this one looks good to me
free(main);
free(&main);
free(&&main);
free(&(*(&main)));
malloc(free(&&main));

malloc((size_t)malloc);
omg this is cancer
void(^arg1)()```
malloc((size_t)free(malloc(sizeof(&main))));

hm okay so that’s the problem? Sorry I’m extremely new just trying to push though the learning curve
Oh I have theos dependencies already so I’m not sure if that’s the issue
why am I getting 0 results for "c operators" on duckduckgo

nvm it worked on 7th try

@tepid olive don’t ping me for shit that makes no sense. Some people, like myself, hate Sileo.
How does this kind of method works ?
+ (instancetype)initWithString:(NSString *)string
Like how can you save this string without a self instance ?
