I got syntax highlighting and autocomplete working in Xcode for a makefile project

specifically, a Theos project

basically

you make an Xcode project for an external build system

change the target in the project file to be iOS — same for the base sdk, etc

set archs for target to arm64 armv7 and arm64e

and then idk there may be more ste- OH

so you add export THEOS to makefile, point to your directory but DON’T USE ~/theos, use the actual path

and THEN

You add a framework target

then it doesnt matter what u do

(that gives it autocomplete and inline error checking 😮 )

you click the Run button

just gotta figure out how to make Xcode happy with logos and then xm/x/xmi will all have full syntax highlighting
