My brain isn't in the right mindset to try to understand that so here is how it usually works.
Specifier is essentially the model that represents the cell or other UI that is displayed on screen. And it also stores other relevant data that is later used to save the value to NSUserDefaults (i.e. the key). So as long as the specifier has a key and then you call setPreferenceValue:forSpecifier: it should all just work.

@half walrus another dragonbuild question, so I'm trying to link against the dylib lcurl, and I have the build file:

Example:

but it's being built for armv7 as well and that specific dylib is only be used for arm64 and arm64e, , and lipo fails as it doesn't have an armv7 dylib. But why is this tool being built for armv7 when I specifically told it not to be?

Yeah I was referring to Dynamic Size from CCSupport, but I guess you are right, specifying 2 size depending if it’s CCModule or CCHomeScreen would get it complicated.. But I just thought of something that should work on both with different size, looking forward to this, thanks for your work !

CCSupport now allows creating multiple CCModule, so a duplicate module with different dynamic size, that module would have his own instance and should work out the box with your tweak

Then just hide that one from CC and show it in HomeScreen or the inverse would be a nice workaround I guess 😁
