long story short

i basically downgraded my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1.1 using the alloc8 exploit

though i had to manually hacktivate it, probably because iOS 5.x don't use the iTunes activation method

anyways

after i hacktivated and jailbroke the phone

i opened up Cydia

and i was prompted to update around 6 essential tweaks

once the upgrading process was done, i was prompted to "Close Cydia"

and so Cydia was terminated

cool, so i opened up Cydia again but this time a black screen comes in
usually the Cydia app screen would load instantly after the black screen, unfortunately for this case it didn't
so i quit from Cydia

i reopen it, this time it'd instantly crash

so apparently there was something wrong that happened RIGHT after i updated the essential tweaks

i knew from that time that i was pretty much fucked

now that i restored the phone all the way back to 6.1.6, redid the downgrade and hacktivation method again

my question is

is it normal to avoid updates of essential tweaks on my iPhone 3GS?

RAM is with the hardware, you can't increase RAM with software. Also, with devices with ARM processors, you can't increase the RAM, it's in the processor and cannot be upgraded, I'm not even sure if you can upgrade the processor.

Do you even know what a Page or Swap file is?

It's where the system dumps the RAM to the storage to free it up.
Windows and Android (or more directly, Linux) support it naturally.

Actually, if I don't use it, I will get quite a bit of anxiety.
I won't know what percentage it's at or if I'll need to prepare a charger soon. It could be anywhere and all I would have to tell when it's going to die and if it's soon is a battery icon.
The percentage at least gives you exactly what the system thinks the battery level is at, and in turn, helps prepare you.
It's only my opinion, and you have your own.

I can get an ipad 1-4 under 50 bucks, or a ipad mini/air for slightly over 50 bucks
