there’s a difference: there are versions of YouTube still hosted that support 10 or earlier

also you probably don’t even need that for stuff like that - just get the app on the same account on another (newer) device, then press the cloud icon and download the latest supported version

Install the iOS 7+ only apps you need on 8.4.1, then boot CB via CLI to 6.1.3. (This used to work way better when Telegram and Discord functioned on iOS 6, but iMessage and email should still work ok.) Though you'll need to install a lot of tweaks on iOS 6 to add some modern-ish QoL features for daily use
