the “transparent background” is a widget called Influential HS, which is used with xen HTML. For the status bar, I used Orion for that but many other tweaks can do that, including free ones

There is a shortcut that will automate it all for you

you feed it an AE and select your icons and it will autogenerate all of the icons with AE effects on them. Then just install like normal using IconBoard/Shortcuts.
