I'd waste 6 minutes doing slot machines, because after you're finished doing after curfew deals the time advancement after sleep doesn't apply to deals you just completed, which means the ppl at the end of the deliveries wont call you at the start of the day.. like the skateboard dude (who calls at like 730am)

using console commands you can set the time to 6pm, complete a deal, sleep for >12hrs, talk to them and they're like we just finished a deal (deliveries and the drying rack also have this problem, sleeping doesn't advance those cooldown timers)

i hate powershell it takes too long to start up and do anything and i don't need its features

i could use windows+r to launch cmd but i need to run it as administrator and i don't like searching in the start menu

Any explorer window allows you you file > open powershell as admin, and that also launches it in the current dir

it's scary how convincing AI videos have gotten

I came across a video from a channel I hadnt heard about. It was interesting, Iclicked, and as I was watching I had a growing suspicion that it was AI. I can't exactly say where this suspicion comes from but maybe it was something about the pacing, how the video was shot, or how "well made" it was by supposedly someone who is very old.

Things didnt add up. And sure enough it was AI. I looked at the channel page and saw how this was effectively a new content-farm. But it said right in the channel description that it was AI. Actually, I've noticed that a bunch of AI channels have that in their description. Do they have to put that there? But like 99.9% of viewers dont look there. All the comments seem to be fully convinced it's real.

What "scared" me was that when I looked at the footage I saw no reason to believe it was AI at all. I even slowed it down, zoomed in and all. But it looked so real to me. If the footage was in a vacuum I would't be able to tell it was AI. I guess the AI mistakes were hidden by video compression. But everything from the fingers, movement, background objects. It all looked real. I could only tell because everything aside from the visuals didn't add up.

Of course the video was produced in a rather convenient way, so that AI mistakes would just be "naturally" hidden by design.

What annoys me is that I thought I would be watching something genuine and interesting that an old person was about to share with the world. Instead it was just a disingenuine attempt to milk the viewer out of that sweet sweet watch time.

I think you can hit that error message by not configuring a stream and trying to start it with a hotkey

To cleanly remove SE.Live:

1. Close any instances of OBS
2. Uninstall SE.Live (Add/Remove Programs)
3. Uninstall OBS Studio (make sure that "Settings, Scenes, etc." is not selected)
4. Install OBS Studio again from https://obsproject.com/
   Your settings will be saved unless you have selected to delete them during removal.

My whole point is that when someone is throwing a tantrum you can just ignore them and move on, they are gone and I already confronted them once previously for the way they were treating you/support in general.

Let me say this though, as I’ve said before I appreciate the time that everyone here puts into helping others in the support channels. what you can do is list the item for market value x 1.2, the customers will go above or below that depending on their affinity
when they're addicted you could probably up that to 1.4 or 1.6

I don't believe the customers like the orders being changed by >50%(?), so order quantity and price per item

It shouldn't matter a ton, I guess? The wifi is probably being preferred over cellular if both are available.

I know some phones decide whether to use wifi or cellular based on signal strength... if you want to be 100% sure it's testing the wifi speed, turning off cell data wouldn't hurt. (Probably.)

Can always try both and see! (My speed tests tend to vary a fair bit run to run, so I don't know how easy it'd even be to tell.)

iPhones for example have a setting, enabled by default so far as I know, that makes them use mobile data if the wifi is deemed bad

Is there a way to replicate the Steam overlay's 1% lows with MSI Afterburner / RTSS? I noticed RTSS is reporting a much "higher" 1% low value, it often fails to report short-term stutters but 0.1% lows are always a very low value because it remembers a big stutter from a long time ago, which is not useful in the short term.

It's more sane to think of the algorithm as "how the audience reacts" rather than some special scheduling pattern you need to discover to get in front of the most viewers. The reality is, if your content is interesting and fun for large numbers of folks, what few engage with it will enage with it hard, and that will catapult you up in rankings. Not schedule per se.

sorry you're misunderstanding but I don't think there is anything left to say, I have clarified every step of the way you'd need to disable the "everyone" option in order to have server specific permissions as that is all discord allows.

if this is a big issue for you I'd suggest disabling the everyone option, opting out of friend requests in any public server you are in, and adding people you want in the future rather than them having to add you if you don't share any friends/servers.

In any event, we take excessive amounts of moderation actions that we can verify, and the sheer volume we have to deal with means that sometimes there are things we just cannot action, and users need to be responsible for being mindful. Scams and bots and other nonsense is everywhere on the internet. I'm in several large, public servers that all have the exact same issue and get dozens of bogus DMs/friend requests a day. I just click ignore, and move on.

i may not have ever been involved moderating a server as huge, but even as an end user i feel the effects.
anyway, i have never gotten a bot request from the Hollow Knight Discord server, and that has 400k members, or if i have, it was so few times i dont even remember.
some other notable examples are the Steam Deck server, and that r/TechSupport server that you yourselves always recommend
im trying to provide these examples in case they have systems in place to filter such bots, or if they simply put in different practices
nevertheless, ive solved the problem for myself anyway, and that was to join via different acount. oh well.

cleaning an electrical contact has fixed yet another thing! got the light meter working in one of my old cameras

I didn't know what was wrong with it at first, I just assumed the selenium cell had gone bad by now so I wanted to take it apart to poke around a bit. scraping the metal back of the cell against its spring contact made the meter jump, so I cleaned both and it worked like a charm

They also usually don't have to add underscores after their usernames, nor is their Discord account less than a month old.

I could be completely off base, but generally speaking, it's how folks impersonate established accounts to build trust with folks.

There's not a minimum age. Like I said, impersonation is a very real thing on Discord, and I've gotten enough friends requests from folks with a _, or 1 at the end of the end of a famous person's name that I'm always paranoid. I'm even more paranoid from super new accounts from very established streamers.

Sorry if I'm completely off base, I definitely don't speak for the server at all, just from my own personal experience.
