like you have your footage, all you need to do is convert it to ffv1 before hand, edit it in davinci resolve, export it in ffv1 and then compress it or convert it however you like. This works with 4:4:4 too.

But if you wanna import 4:4:4 h264 or export it as 4:4:4 h264 then you need the premium one

But I've never worked with anything above 1080p60 so I can't confirm

however 60fps IS the limit for free

it SEEMS like I can work with an 8k timeline. Haven't tested 16k or 32k timeline. But when I try to export it, it doesn't let me go beyond 4k, even with custom resolution.

I tried Kden Live briefly, as I've been told that it's the best fully open source and free video editor. It could edit and import h264 4:4:4 fine-ish. The timeline playback suffered greatly though. But I found no way of actually exporting it in the same pixel format.

Even when I did their "lossless" presets, it converts it down to 4:2:2. Same thing with an "image sequence" export in .bmp format. Strange.

I think Edge intentionally replaced it with a simple edge sharpener/slight contrast adjuster
the edge sharpening does make most of the difference that super resolution was doing, what can be recovered from upscaling with real-life content is extremely limited if the detail has already been erased due to compression
but, yeah.. it's... meh... text and animation still benefits a lot from it... and, it's unfortunate it's just doing edge sharpening...

This largely depends on context, both what the relevant training data set was like and what the questions are / what info has been given in the moment.

It's pretty good at, for instance, converting (very simple) GLSL to HLSL, gently modifying / combining barebones boilerplate for API and DB scaffolds, or spitting out rudimentary mocked unit tests. It's also pretty good at giving a targeted pep talk, and it's better for web search than Google in the moment (tho that bar is really low right now). If a thing was ever addressed in an obscure Gamasutra article or archived Gamedev.net forum post or Stackoverflow, ChatGPT can probably spit it out at you faster than you can search for it. It's been helpful with basic and boring dev tasks.

I wouldn't trust it to write an essay, or on medical advice, or really anything at all without doing a lot of background research that maybe should happen prior to or instead of using the LLM. And even for dev, it falls short with connecting the dots within that barebones skeletal app it can help you setup, it can't build a full scale one (unless it was able to rip one down whole cloth from github)

I think No Man's Sky actually perfected multiplayer in a large open world. Creative, survival and hardcore players all share the same universe, and PVP doesn't exist. There are no microtransactions so cheating in large numbers of any of the game's currencies doesn't impact anyone whatsoever. It's great! The worst anyone could ever do is block the way to a crashed ship or portal or something with a base, and once you report a base it'll disappear for you and you can continue. Also there's a toggle to switch off multiplayer entirely and play in a completely abandoned universe which is pretty fun

oh if ya want to use them camp fires as smoke signals place them on them wheat bales (full craft grid of wheat, can also be found in villages), leads to them producin much more particles&those also end up going higher

Last I knew, the setting to show what you're playing was mutually exclusive with the setting showing whether or not you were streaming; but I don't know where the settings are now
