My last "upgrade" from the ISP was modem only. Had to put in an old WiFi router and disable the WiFi so I could use it as a switch and get feeds to all the jacks in my house. Added a more powerful WiFi inside the house. Phone doesn't disconnect from it until I'm about 3 houses away.

I see it a little differently. I see more zones. Central California is the Central Valley. Sacramento Valley is everything between the Coastal Range and the Sierra foothills, from Redding south, following the Sacramento River to the Delta. San Joaquin Valley is the same but following the San Joaquin River on its path to the Delta. The Delta is an overlapping area of the previous two.
The Bay Area is also a matter of debate too, but I left my birth place behind after cashing out the family property.
I break up the coastal areas into different regions too. But my experience is limited to the range of Fort Bragg to Carmel.

The length of a recording doesn't matter it should end within a second or so of hitting stop. If you have auto-remux set then it will take time to remux the file too, but that usually takes only a few seconds also. If you hit stop recording and it just hangs for a long time then there is probably a problem, in which case try #windows-support etc. for troubleshooting/assistance.

Also, if using the hybrid or fragmented recording options, generally they should preserve most of the video even on the event of a crash or power outage or other problem.

I would use about:performance and about:memory to diagnose what is actually using that memory

Also, I use uBlock Origin here and while YouTube's adblockeropalypse had an effect in the past for several months, I run uBlock constantly and never get ads on YouTube for some time now. Maybe once every 2 months YouTube gives me the popup adblocker warning, I reload the page and the warning is gone, and never see any warning again for another 2 months, haven't disabled the blocker.

They got me for about 3 months or so when they started doing that, but then it started working again and hasn't stopped.

One single YouTube web page is using 1GB of RAM right now.

Imgur was perfectly fine as the smol window in Discord.. but as soon as you click, it's super blurry and compressed... it's a lot more than just the resolution drop
but I gotta say, not having an fps limit is nice... so many sites cap to 30, I think :(
I looked it up just now and people are like "oh, this website blah blah blah" but it won't autoplay within Discord...

rip, one of the 1080s I gave someone died (yes, I just gave it away and didn't sell it, and I gave them two) I think the vram wasn't being cooled properly because I had to repaste at one point and I don't think I put it together properly
but I did give them two, so.. hopefully they can fix the other one and make sure it's put together properly 😅
oh well, they were old cards...

I also didn't put as much paste on one as I wanted because the tube ran out faster than I thought... but I have a feeling the memory overheated and not the cores.. but who knows for sure

Oddly enough, if I paste that into a DM in discord, it auto plays fine as an embed, but if I try to save it via the embed, it fails to save, saying I have privacy issues on my phone. But other images and videos saved perfectly fine.

I don't know what to do...

I could add more space to the sides.. simply uncropping some isn't an option.. I think I need more horizontal space and chat bubbles are just a few pixels to the left of my crop... uncropping some of the right would uncenter it... could crop the top or bottom..

I like to rescale it myself because I think it's ever so slightly better scaling than just letting Imgur scale it to its max limit

Man, Instacart updated their website to be way quicker to use, less mouse clicks, scrolling, waiting for pages and graphics to load, way faster now and click click done.

I spent an hour and got groceries from 5 stores simultaneously using AI to help find the best prices. Got $846 worth of groceries for $866 including the service fees, free delivery. $20 for all that is nuts. Would have cost me $50 in a cab to go round trip to one store for 1/3 the groceries and taken longer.

I dunno how they can possibly make any money.
