I have a feeling that the 8-bit format for this isn't very common, as all the converters I found so far, only deal with 16 to 128 bits. But this makes sense because being contrained to 8 bits really doesn't leave much space for precision when it comes to floating point numbers.

yeah.. it can be a slow, step by step process. When I was training my Aussie it was that way. He would take an empty can (beer, soda, etc) and put it in the trashcan and open the fridge and grab a cold one and bring it to people. Took me about a month to show him what to do. First step was to take the can. Then we moved to putting it in the trash. Next was him using a hand towel that was on the handle of the fridge, etc.

With the grabbing stuff and running away. Use treats to "trade" for the thing. If he brings it to you, he gets a treat. Practice that for a few days / weeks. Slow steps so he understands.

I'm telling you bro, from personal experience daily driving Revision, it's great. it just runs a playbook using a program called AME Wizard, goes through, cleans up the system, fixes stupid broken things MS did, and generally just makes things better.
Other cool thing is, you can just create a system restore point and restore back after doing it if you don't like it after test driving it, and also it undoes itself if you do a Windows Version update.

it's not like with those other custom ISO versions of Windows where you have to clean install to get rid of it

and it keeps all the important stuff intact like MS Account, MS Store, Xbox gaming stuff

Oh yeah dogs are great personal heaters. I used to date a man who had a husky. That sweet dog would sleep right along side me and it was soooo warm. Nowadays I just have a >20lb cat who does the same. Natural heat haha

I discovered why Discord on mobile was running poorly for me (not smooth, stuttery).

I had to disable some security thing that's enabled by default for all apps, by my phone (hardened memory allocator). Specifically a GrapheneOS thing.
