Open your diplomacy menu or just click a country's flag

You can then add 3 levels of focus to increasing influence

You should be doing this with all your spheres and try to steal some off of Austria. As long as you're superior to them you should get Pan German rebels who flip south German states to your sphere

if you arent getting any try to balance the middle class taxes and tarifs until you can get their luxury goods met in that margin

Those 1-10% will promote to Rich Jobs as well as assimilate

Once your daily projected balance gets insane like in the thousands you dont need to rely so much on capitalists or your economy at all, but if you were to elect a socialist party or someone who likes planned economies, you could start affording to build your own factories

Every ten fifteen years you'll want to retrofit

You only really need 2 or 3 unit types

you start with clippers man o wars and frigates, but by the 1850s and 1860s you'll be using steam boats and ironclads

1870s and 1890s you'll have submarines (unless they arent in vanilla) and then 1890 and onwards you start building modern dreadnaughts, destroyers and cruisers

If Spain has its regular shitty navy techs, that means its resupply coverage will be hilariously low and they might gradually get an attrition death increase on their ships if they were blockading argentina potentially. At that point argentina could theoretically spam frigates

The only Navies I would recommend you avoid fighting until you're competent is the British navy

They have multiple ports on every continent

They have the Caribbean, South Atlantic Islands, Guyana, Numerous African ports, Indian ocean territory, Indian ports, Chinese ports, Australia, Canada.

If they somehow suffer from attrition they will just go to port for a month or two and resupply
