it had a lot of early success but since they didnt have the skill of truly good generals if they didnt puurge all the good ones other than like romel and handfull of others. they just didnt have good leadership

in nazi germany just as much if not more so than the USSR you had your position because you were loyal

the head of each of the branches had little to no military experience they were just loyal to the nazi party and adolf hitler

and their tactics outside of blitzkrieg were for the time mediocre aswell. WW1 germany had better leadership and more experienced generals as an example.

combine that with the fact they failed to even take the leader ship of the soviets, and the soviet union otherwise probably never willing to open up peace talks. the war was inevitable (espcially with foreign aid mostly US) to always be in favor of the soviet union

a lot of the soldiers germany had at the time werent even at the front because the soldiers were doing so much more than just war. you dont murder millions of innocent civilians just through bombing them.

inshort germany got itself into more shit than it could handle and there was no winning that war after the invasion of the soviet union, or introduction of the united states

They completely removed focus trees, added a whole new building system that required other things and production, tried to change the puppet system to mimic the earth kingdom's autonomy, etc

I feel like it would have been better to just make it a Victoria II mod

i dont remember how piercing works in hoi4 for naval but this design destroys

due to it being light cruisers the heavy ships struggle to hit them with their main guns, and their light guns cant do much damage due to the armor

so these mostly if you have like 20 of them get free reign to destroy the escort ships, and when they run out of escorts these will also damage the heavy ships/carriers too

the original design had radar 2 on them not three, you can start producing these like not even a year in if you use your navy to get xp to unlock the armor faster

if my theory is correct how piercing works, technically you could probably get away with only level 2 or 3 possibly level 1

its a bit more complex than hoi4 but once you get the hang of it its really fun

dont feel discouraged when your country gets overtaken by rebels every 15 minutes on your first few playthroughs

like i was doing the army one and it was telling me to select the dudes at the port, but when i did that the boat icon never showed up and it wouldnt let me deselect my old ones either lmfao

GFM optimizations fix that slightly but you always run the risk of crashing when tabbing out. Game engine just sucks for that.

Why are you worrying about building industry as prussia

You have until 1936 to play you should be focusing on your rivalry in the German Confederation with Austria

You should play as the USA for tutorials, and then south America for more sandboxing, and then Germany for a real challenging game with huge reward
