weird work around for 2 capture cards, unplug one after deactivating sources, reactivate it after one is unplugged, replug it in and go to your other source and change to the other card and activate.. only way i found so far

I seem to be having an issue with my Streamlabs plugin not playing with OBS. I open OBS and it is unresponsive. I run OBS in safemode and it works fine. Disable SL and restart OBS, works fine. Re-enable SL and restart OBS = OBS unresponsive again. Any ideas?

Streamlabs will not show my 3 elgato cameras. It will only show one and then freezes. Elgato camera hub shows them and so does the tiktok studio. Worked great before PC update

You can view your stream via your tablet, the Twitch app (if available), or use the web browser and log into your Twitch channel. Just be sure to keep it muted to avoid echoes.

I reported a bug where on Mac with 1.20.6 or whatever latest update. When I launch the app, nothing comes up but the process is running. You can use the menu of streamlabs but few options. The application never loads, no errors. Using sequoia 15.7.3 with m4 pro chip. This didn't happen on the 1.19.x versions. Any thoughts? I checked all privacy and security settings, rebooted etc

I just updated my streamlabs to version 1.20.4.
Before the update everything worked fine. But now I get an unknown error when I hit the record button.

Any ideas how to tackle the problem?

Updated automatically last night and since then nothing but issues. Once I connect the media stops showing and all of the layers disappear. Shortly after that it stops streaming.

The sources are there but none of them show in the display. For a bit the stream (to YouTube) works but it stops shortly after.

Maybe you’d prefer the stream doesn’t hear your Discord, music, or other apps? You can do this within Streamlabs Desktop using Streamlabs Application Audio, or you could use a software like MIXLINE for more advanced audio control.

Running into an issue with TalkStudio for three weeks now.

I join and everything is fine. My two guests join and they give permission for their microphones, they have their microphones set, they can test audio and that works… but I can’t hear them at all. They refresh the page dozens of times and sometimes it randomly works.

• Ensure your game is the active window. After adding your game capture source, interact with the game for about 5 to 20 seconds. This often helps Streamlabs Desktop detect and capture it.
• Run Streamlabs Desktop as an administrator.
• Change your Game Capture mode from "Auto" to "Capture Specific Window" and then select your game from the list.

I'm having an issue after a recent update. I use 3 Insta360 cameras. All run and adjusted in the app. But I've never had an issue with them showing up on my set up. Since the update, only one shows up. When I go to properties, to try and selecting, all 3 insta360 cameras show up as an option. But do not appear on the layout. If that makes sense?

I'm using OBS to stream and I have the OBS plugin. I added the Follower Goal Widget, it shows up in my sources and a box is outlined but the actual percentage bar isn't there its just blank. I can't seem to find any way to get it to work properly. Does anyone know why and a way to fix this?

I have the same issue.
try changing the recording encoder to the "Hardware (NVENC, HEVC)" encoder
Alternatively with the NVENC H.264 encoder and you are using the "Simple" Outmode Mode config, change quality to either:
Same as stream
OR
Lossless quality

Or change to Advanced Output mode, but quality settings are a bit more complex in that mode.
You can use QBR with a setting around 22'ish.

Looks like others have been experiencing this as well. Since the last update my cameras are a mess. I have 4 different cameras and 2 of them won't come up anymore unless I unplug both and plug them in 1 at a time. It works fine as long as I don't shut down SLOBS. I stream using Streamlabs, and I’ve started having an issue with alerts and sounds from StreamElements. I’m attaching a screenshot so we’re on the same page.

I have “Control audio via Streamlabs Desktop” turned OFF, because when it’s ON, any alert sound becomes very robotic, distorted, and unpleasant.
However, when I keep it OFF like this, my viewers cannot hear any alerts at all (donations, follows, etc.).

So I’m stuck in a situation where:

If I turn it ON → alerts are audible, but sound is robotic/distorted

If I turn it OFF → alerts sound fine locally, but viewers hear nothing

I’ve been dealing with this for quite a while and honestly have no idea what’s causing it or how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I do need some help regarding adding a new command.
Basically i want to add "!rank" to display my current Valorant-Rank in chat. I already got it working with purely rank and the RR at the moment, but if i want to add Win-Lose-Ratio or how many RR i got/lost during the last matches it always gives "Bad Server Response | Too slow" as response in chat or a whole paragraph of text. The later has all the information which is fine, yet i find it too long so i wanted to work with {replace} to get the unnecessary information to " " instead of the whole text. But if i work with replace the response in chat then is "Dragonir's rank: [Rank] [current RR] | Stats: [blank]" instead of for example "Dragonir's rank: [Rank] [current RR] | Stats: [2W-2L | +10RR]" added with either last 5 Matches or last 24 hours at the end...
Anyone have this command working already and can help me out or has tipps to try? I already asked Gemini but it's only going in circles. Once we fixed the stats, the rank itself has issues. Once we fixed that, the stats are back to blank response...

Yep, i figured that. And i did find an API that works, yet with that API the {replace} of the long, not needed text passage is not working with that API for some reason. And every other API where the replace does work, is too slow to answer when adding rank to the stats.
Any Idea how to get the replace-function working?

After the last update of Streamlabs Desktop I can only get one of my c920 cams to work, I have search for a fix. tryed all I could find. But not matter what only one will work. Any one got an idea?.

Running Windows 10 Pro. both camera haves it's on name, not on the same usb controller. all drivers are up to date. nothing else is using the cams.

With G Hub both cams work also with Logitech cam settings.

Twitch forced me to delete my account and make a new one to start fresh. I'm trying to set up my plugins and everything that I had, back up so I can stream on the new channel. My chatboxes are broken, and I'm unsure how to fix them. I'm logged into streamlabs with the new twitch account, but these issues still persist. I've tried uninstalling the entirety of Streamlabs from my computer and reinstalling, but nothing is working.

For the Browser Source Chat Box, you want to copy the ChatBox Widget URL and not the URL for the web page.

For the Chat Dock, that should be working if you've have logged out and logged in the Streamlabs Plugin in OBS Studio.

Did you log in at the Streamlabs web site with your new Twitch channel

Hello, I’m a Twitch Partner and I’ve been using Streamlabs for the past 3 years for my follower, subscription, raid, bits alerts, etc.

I’m running into a major issue that I can’t seem to fix regarding community gift sub alerts. For example, when someone gifts 5 subs to the community on my channel, instead of getting a single alert for the 5 gifted subs, I get the gifted subscription alert 5 times.

The issue is random. Last night, I received 5 community gift subs and only got one alert, which was perfect. But at the end of the stream, an anonymous user gifted 5 subs to the community and I got 5 separate alerts.

Can anyone help me? I’ve asked other Twitch Partner streamers, and I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.

1. Go to Settings > Output.

If you're multistreaming with our Streamlabs Ultra subscription, then you can't use the VOD Track as well. It's only available if you're only streaming to Twitch.

Splitting the audio gives you the audio sources you need in order to have them in or out of the VOD Track. So you need to split your audio first then go through the VOD Track guide.

Note: If you are doing this step for fixing your alerts, you may need to reload your widgets. You can do this by going to your Live Actions Tab of the Recent Events > Scroll all the way and click Reload Widgets

Did you log back in? This process won't go back and capture events that were missed. It will capture events going forward from the time you log back in at Streamlabs with your Twitch.

The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Then, reopen Streamlabs Desktop. This should resolve it but if it doesn't please submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and our team would be able to assist you further.

That's one of the pitfalls of splitting your audio. For game audio, you'll have to change it each time the game changes.

If you're using Game Capture, you can forgo the Application Audio Capture and enable this option.

Whenever I open OBS the top bar is flashing rapidly and I can't click on anything. I force close OBS and open it in safemode, everything works. I disable my SL plugin in the manager and reopen in normal mode. Everything works. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue and get every working together again?

You would need to call your Internet Service Provider. Those quality scores are bad.

Tell them you are trying to live stream to Twitch and are getting disconnected. If they send a tech, show them the Twitch Test results. If you have the date and times you had this happen, that will help them to investigate.

This is an issue between your cable modem and Twitch's ingests.

Hello guys I have an issue and this is last resort really. I went live through my Xbox with Streamlabs for the first time to test everything out. My sound was insanely buggy and there was about a 5 minute delay on any sound also. But the main issue here is that when I ended the livestream through my Xbox it’s carried on being live. You should be able to stop the stream via your Stream Manager menu on your Twitch channel.

This is what’s weird both twitch and Streamlabs are saying that I’m offline even though the stream is very much so off so that option hasn’t come up

Log out of the Streamlabs Console web site.
Log in the Streamlabs Console web site by clicking the Twitch button.
Go here https://console.streamlabs.com/account#/stream-destinations, click Edit Account in the Twitch box, then click the Reauthenticate button.
Make sure the destination in your Xbox is set to Streamlabs. https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-get-started-using-streamlabs-console
Then try and go live. If that works, then stay live for a few minutes and then end the stream.

Hello all,

I’ve been using Streamlabs for many years now and I am a Sim racer so making vertical clips is very important and for the longest time I’ve used Cross Clips, however now if I pull a clip from my own YouTube live stream and paste it into Cross Clips it gets rejected. I’ve resorted to setting a hot key on my keyboard so Streamlabs can grab a 60 second clip and save it. That works no problem to upload into Cross Clips.

Second question is about Ultra and having the ability to Multi stream to multiple platforms. I am currently running 2560x1440 base canvas & output but I wouldn’t have to change anything on my end right? Ultra downscales it for all the different platforms if I’m not mistaken?

So it says when I got to the streamlabs go live moment and it said apply for live access for streamlabs it says I got rejected or revoked because I applied a while ago, but I can just stream off tik tok's live platform but its its own platform so I guess I need to be a bigger more credible streamer. It says i need atleast greater than 10 viewers so yeah a waiting game for now. I have around 5-10 on vertical youtube live and just that. I Did start streaming on kick aswell ad vert and horizontal yt but thats it. I do find tik tok would be great for explosure more than any other platform imo

For some reason Nvidia Broadcast no longer shows up on my Drop list to be selected. I have reinstalled the software, have tried running each program separately and simultaneously as admin. Nothing is changing this option to show the Nvidia Broadcast camera.

Self reply. If you are having the issue I described above I found a roundabout way to fix it. Download the Video Effects AP from the Nvidia site so that you can apply the removed background effect directly in SLOBS rather than running the additional program.

Okay, I am having a weird issue with SLOBS. I can no longer have two webcams and I notice within the SLOBS the device names are generic and use to work with no issues. Now, I can only get one USB device if it doesn't have the product name.

Additionally, I’m unable to separate my audio tracks. I want my video capture audio and my microphone on separate audio tracks, but despite having everything configured correctly, the audio will not separate.

USB Device (Razor Kiyro) WILL NOT WORK

In Streamlabs Desktop, log out and log in with your TikTok and then setup your stream. For the vertical orientation, your output resolution should be backwards, instead of 1920x1080, it would be 1080x1920.

The Dual Output guide I linked above should have tips you can use.

Maybe you’d prefer the stream doesn’t hear your Discord, music, or other apps? You can do this within Streamlabs Desktop using Streamlabs Application Audio, or you could use a software like MIXLINE for more advanced audio control.

maybe i can find some help here, so, i'm running Streamlabs alerts through OBS, I am using the StreamBoss widget and have noticed some issues. I set it in the damage settings, to 5 damage per bit, 5 damage per follow, and 1250 damage per Subscriber.

1. Sometimes it gives the correct damage, but sometimes, it'll randomly do double damage on bits. So, i'll get 100 bits, and instead of 500 damage, it'll do 1000.

2. I've also, as of today, had someone gift 8 Gift Subs, and the giftsubs killed the boss, but instead of the Sender/Gifter becoming the Boss, the receiver became the boss. Is there a way to change this so it is the Sender/Gifter? Hate to see someone become the boss for receiving a gift sub, instead of the Gifter getting credit.

3. Also, I had health set to Incremental, +100 health per Boss as i'm still a small streamer, but checked today and it's suddenly set at +200 health which is not what I want. But I'm afraid to "reset streamboss" to fix it, as I don't want the current Boss to lose their place.

I am currently using streamlabs to stream to game changer and Facebook at the same time for my baseball club (this is to allow for sponsors)

However an issue I’ve come into is the game changer scoreboard isn’t showing on Facebook (obviously because it’s integrated with GameChanger not slobs)

I’m trying to make it as easy as possible for th scores and minimal involvement from them

Having an issue where in CS2 when I’m streaming only, opening/closing the buy and pause menu causes my screen to go black. When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The viewer would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

Creating your Streamlabs ID doesn’t change any of your Streamlabs data. It effectively replaces the primary account in your Streamlabs account but that’s it. Scenes & Sources, Widget settings, Merch Store data, Tip Page and History, etc are all not touched.

But now my activity feed / event list (Follows, Subs, Raid etc) wont update, so my alerts arent activating offcause. Out of nowhere, it did stop updating.

After years of multi streaming successfully to YT the auto on feature has been disabled so when I click go live I get an error message that autoon has been disabled so start your stream in YT studio. I’ve tried to enable auto on but it’s greyed out in YT studio. I’ve disconnected YT and reconnected to no avail. Any ideas what I can do? I’m able to go live in YT studio but it’s not saving any of my streams. Very frustrating.

So yeah Im using the dual option I eventually got it to work restarted again and it worked

The other thing I find is weird is I got the subscription windoe capture showing the live subscriber count from yt analytics and but for some reason it didnt update on the window capture itself it just stayed static

1.On android, sometimes changing scene doesn't clear previous scene, causing previous scene on top or below the current selected scene

Hey guys, Since ive reached affiliate ive noticed that non of my alerts (Previously working fine.) are appearing on my stream and that non of the new followers are being updated to my "Mini Feed"

Ive updated all the browser links and whatnot since reaching affiliate status.
Ive also tried relogging my account out of streamlabs then logging back in with no success on that either.
Ive tried unlinking streamlabs from twitch itself and relinking and still had no luck.

Anyone here good with alerts set up for live stream? Mine was working and all set up but now they don’t work while streaming but when i test them to work fine. Ive reset them deleted them and redone them, logged out and logged back in etc etc idk what to try next

Added alert straight from strremmlabs alerts then edited how i needed it so everything is auto that way well supoosed to be

2. Wait a minute.
3. In Streeamlabs Desktop, log out.
4. Wait a minute.
5. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
6. Wait a minute.
7. Follow the Disconnect Service guide in the next post for both Twitch and YouTube.
8. Launch a web browser and navigate to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/ and log in with your Twitch.
9. Wait a minute.
10. On the Streamlabs web site, click your Profile picture and choose Log out.
11. Wait a minute.
12. On the Streamlabs web site, log in with your YouTube.
13. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with Twitch.
14. Wait a minute.
15. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop.
16. In Streamlabs Desktop, log in with your YouTube.
17. Go here on the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click Live Actions, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click the Reload Widgets button. Then go back here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents.
18. Add the Alert Box Widget back to the scenes where it was and make sure it appears at the top of the source list for each scene.

Then see how alerts perform on your next stream.

It's an overlay so if you're already using a custom overlay, you'd have to switch to the reactive overlay.

Don't use the platform switch to "log in as your YouTube". You need to log out all the way and then log in with your YouTube.

There's nothing in Streamlabs Desktop, Console, or Mobile that would do that. Are you running a VPN?

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Then, reopen Streamlabs Desktop. This should resolve it but if it doesn't please submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and our team would be able to assist you further.

I am currently trying to set up streamlabs for the first time. When i opened streamlabs desktop, this is what I get and it will not display the entire screen for me

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video. Swap the two values. For example, if it shows 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.

Hello, I'm having some mouse visibility issues?

I was playing minecraft, I was trying to make a thumbnail so the server kicked me afk, now I can't see the cursor in game.
I think it's streamlabs because when I exit stream labs, minecraft, I then load up minecraft again, see the cursor in game. Right after I go to streamlabs turn it on, go back in minecraft and the cursor is gone, I'm stuck here I went through windows settings and looking through streamlabs settings and can't find anything yet
