Me personally, I would try with Game Capture rather than Display Capture. I'm not aware of any issues with Game Capture not working with Fortnite and Apex.

Ah, okay.

Go ahead and reboot again, to clear out the stuck Streamlabs Desktop application, or use Task Manager to end it.

Then...

Try clearing the Streamlabs Desktop cache.

This doesn't delete your scenes and sources but it does clear your settings like audio devices, output resolution, encoder settings, etc. But those can be set back up. Normally I'd ask you to screen shot them for safe keeping but in this case you can't.

👇

1. Copy: %appdata% then Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then Press Enter.
2. This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see " slobs-client ".
3. Rename it to " _slobs-client ".
4. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and let me know what happens.

I see this issue now! You've enabled Selective Recording and set the Game Capture to only be on stream.

So you can either: 1) Set the Game Capture to be enabled on both stream and recording OR 2) Turn off Selective Recording.

To do this, you'd need to switch the Output Mode to Advanced.

Then in on the Recording tab, set the encoder to a different encoder than the one you're using to stream and tick the Rescale Output box and set the resolution to 1920x1080.

The key here is the Recording encoder has to be different from the Streaming encoder. The rescale output option will only appear if the encoders are different on stream and record.

I'd try with P5 first and go from there depending on how your card handles the load.

You can just leave Twitch in that case. Switching the primary really doesn’t afford you any real benefits. Just leave it as is.

Make sure Cloudbot is not banned on your YouTube channel and that you have is as a Standard Moderator and not as a Managing Moderator.

I have tried that option as well but it only shows my gaming pc background and no applications that I open. If I open call of duty for example, it only shows up if I put it in “full screen extended window” which cuts out half the game and kills the fps. Other than that, it just shows my background no matter what I open.

That is something then with how elgato is sending information to us. You can try it with something else like OBS Studio to check it out, but if it is showing the image from your desktop, taht is as much as we could troubleshoot in general

Yes, that is correct. Twitch only accepts the horizontal format. The are in the very early stages of testing a vertical format but that is not available publicly.

I’m able to see the save button when editing each format. I’m using my iPhone and Safari.

I’d suggest logging out of the Streamlabs Console web site, clear the cache only for all time, and try again.

My analytics in Streamlabs don’t update, which results in alerts not popping up and the alert box not updating. When I try to add a sub or follow goal, it just shows a blank screen. I couldn’t find anything about this on the internet.

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

Twitch only allows a maximu bitrate of 6000. To make best use of that bitrate, we suggest making your Output Resolution 1280x720. Any game with fast movement or dark scenes will cause pixelation (blurriness).

Twitch is the only one who maxes at 6k. I think kick is limited as well. If you apply and are accepted to 2k broadcasting, I believe you can do 8k bitrate.

Hey there! I'm facing an odd thing with streamlabs rn.

I open my stream, which runs smoothly. Everything normal.
But when I try to open a game through my 4k Utility (I have an ElGato HD60s) or ANY OTHER GAME, Streamlabs starts to get sooo laggy.

I dunno how to proceed now.
I rollbacked video drivers, reinstalled 4k Utility, reinstalled Streamlabs ...
I just don't know what to do :/

Please don’t ping those not actively assisting you. I was driving in evening rush hour and I don’t text and drive. I just got to the grocery store. I can assist you in a while once I get home and walk the dog.

I would at least, log out in a Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator, wait a minute, log back in, wait a minutes, and then try again to go live.

If that doesn’t work, I need to see screen shots from Streamlabs Desktop: Settings > Video and Settings > Output. If you Output Mode is Advanced, I need screen shots of Settings > Output > Streaming and Settings > Output > Recording and Settings > Output > Replay Buffer.

Also let me know what platform, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Trovo, Kick, X, or TikTok.

Go into your YouTube Studio, click Content on the left side, then click Live on the top and delete any live stream at the top that says Upcoming.

The actual game play will not appear in the Game Capture Widget on the Streamlabs Console web site. For TikTok Chat, you'll have to open your stream on TikTok directly to be able to see chat and the other TikTok specifc events. With Streamlabs Desktop, a browser window is opened for you for TikTok Chat and other events. That is not available on Streamlabs Console.

If you can't see the Video Capture Source, make sure that you move that source to the top of the source list. Otherwise, it is "hidden" underneath other sources.

That bar is the time left on a YouTube video. Or do you mean the one with the name of the person. You can just add a socials widget and customize it.

Nope. Just create your own image using Paint, PhotoShop, etc. Then use the Image Source, point it to the file, MyChannelLogo.png for example, then postion the source where you want it to appear on stream.

Can anyone help? I am doing a charity stream in just over 2 hours... I have created a Fundraiser on Twitch for a goal of £500. When I try to add the Twitch Charity Dono Goal widget to my streamlabs the goal shows as the picture shows... Streamlabs seems to for some reason be pulling the info from Twitch but thinks its in $ and therfore converts $500 into £372.432 despite the Twitch goal being £500... Any help pleaseeee?

Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Also leave the Recent Events page open.

1. If I purchase ultra, is there a limit on how many platforms I can go live on at the same time?

2. Once I'm live on let's say KICK (main channel), tiktok, and YT/Twitch... Can I end of of the other lives and keep KICK going? Or is it the same now when I end live, it ends everything at the same time.

3. Is going live on multiple platforms more taxing on my pc than going live on one?

Glad that it worked. i'm not sure why you weren't seeing it for the other ones since they should have been pushing out from the backups we have. so that's weird. but we typically have backups that we can push out or request a push out from a dev. So in the future if this happens and you can't see it in the dropdown/they're not showing stuff submit at ticket https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with the collection name and a person should be able to get that for you

Hoping someone in here can help me out im having an issue streaming in slobs. When i stream my window capture of my pc games is ahead of my mic and webcam video.

-Try using a different browser entirely when accessing Streamlabs Console. For example, if you're using Firefox, try using Google Chrome instead.
-Reset the permissions for your webcam/external camera on the Streamlabs Console webpage. To do so, while you have your project open, click the icon at the start of the URL (yours may be a lock icon) and then click "reset permissions."
-Go into your Windows Settings > Privacy and Security > App Permissions > and check your Camera and Microphone permissions there as well.
-Verify your webcam(s) work in other browser-based applications, such as Zoom, for example.
-Follow the steps in this article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/camera-doesn-t-work-in-windows-32adb016-b29c-a928-0073-53d31da0dad5) to ensure each of the privacy settings is configured correctly in Windows. There are also a few driver-related solutions in that article that may help resolve this issue.
-Try refreshing your project via the "refresh" icon near the bottom of the page, then refreshing the entire page and checking to see if there's any change. If there's not, try creating a new project entirely and see if the same issue happens there as well.

That's not how it works. Access to TikTok with Streamlabs is granted, suspended, denied, or revoked solely by TikTok. Streamlabs has no input and cannot see why they make a particular decision.

Yeah, I've seen it happen. Frustrating and annoying for sure. The main point is that 50% of your content through Live with Streamlabs has to gaming content.

TikTok always sends them here and we can't do anything on a decision that TikTok makes in their own environment.

Also tick the box for Refresh when scene becomes active. You might also, in Streamlabs Desktop, log out, wait a minute, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, launch Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, log back in, wait a minute, and then see how it goes.

If you switch scenes and the Event List Widget is blank in the scene you're switching to, clicking the Refresh when scene becomes active should help.

There isn't, sorry. Sometime the events over the API are delayed by the end platform; YouTube is really notorious about this as sometimes they will purposely delay subscription alerts.

You can certainly run the disconnect service steps (see next post) to refresh the connection between Streamlabs and the platform.

Then I try to go live on xbox it doesn't show on twitch but it saids I'm live on xbox. Restart your Xbox. On the Streamlabs Console web site, log out, wait a few minutes, and then log in making sure you click the Twitch button and not the Streamlabs ID button.

Hello I need some tech help with my alert box system. I've been going through a re-brand and was making some changes to my alerts, however since changing theme my alerts no longer show up. I can hear the sound when testing but my image/text does not appear. I made sure that it wasn't hidden and or the alerts paused. I also went through clearing cache, logging out and logging back in ect, but I still can't get the image and or text to appear. This is day 2 now of trying to figure out why its no longer working. I am currently trying to get everything setup for Multi-Streaming on Youtube and Twitch
I was trying to figure out how to show Twitch chat without showing Youtube chat on my stream. I ran a test stream and typed a few times and it was working (Only showing Twitch chat on screen)
Then I saw the multi-streaming option on the chatbox and decided to log into that thinking it would just show me my youtube chat without putting it on screen (Like it was previously)
Then it started to show both chats, per Twitch's TOS I can only show twitch chat on my screen while streaming. I was seeing if I could log out of the Multi-Streaming chat option and I cannot find it anywhere.
Was wondering if anyone could help me out? Thank you!

• Audio Monitoring: Ensure all audio sources in your Streamlabs Desktop mixer are set to Monitor Off. If audio monitoring is enabled for any source, it can create an echo loop. (See example image)
• Video Capture Device Audio: Check the properties of your video capture device. Echoes can occur if a custom audio device is selected within its settings. Ensure no custom audio device is chosen there. (See example image)
• Open Stream in Browser: Confirm that you do not have your own stream open (and unmuted) in another browser tab or window. This is a very common cause of immediate echoes.
• Windows Audio Device Monitoring: Make sure you are not actively listening to a recording device (like your microphone) from within your Windows audio settings. Be sure to turn off this "listen" option for your recording devices. (See example image)

Are you splitting your audio? If so, you want to make sure that you go to Settings > Audio and set Desktop Audio and Microphone to Disabled.

First, quit Streamlabs Desktop and reboot your PC.

Then please perform a clean install of your graphics drivers: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/clean-install-of-graphics-driver-tutorial. There's a section for Nvidia at the top and for AMD further down.

Once you've completed that guide, reboot your PC.

If you haven’t already, reboot your PC. The download a fresh Steamlabs Desktop installer and run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall. At the end of the installation, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer, reboot your PC and then try again to launch Streamlabs desktop.

your follower goal is something that you specifically set up and any time you receive a follow, it gets added on. It won't sync with your follower amount if someone follows and then unfollows because twitch doesn't send us unfollows (if that's what you were expecting)

Okay so this is just a little related to streamlabs because it's on streamlabs but i got transparent background alerts but for some reason when i try uploading them "an error occurs" when i do it as a png it works just fine but then theres a black background (1 file doesn't exceed the limit of upload btw idk if they all combined are 1gb but i'm trying to find an alternative way to upload them through links with google drive didn't work)

My stream has constant dropped frames on twitch.

My internet speed is 900Mbps download, 90Mbps upload

I am trying to stream at 6000 bitrate and believe I have optimized all of the other settings.

No clue if anyone knows a fix to this

Dropped frames are a network issue between you and the Twitch ingest.

Please run the Twitch Test (see next post) using Medium or Long duration and select all of the ingests in your area.

Screen shot the results once the test is fully completed.

Yes, you'll need to contact your Internet Service Provider about this. Let them know you're trying to live stream to Twitch and are having a issue with dropped frames. Show them the Twitch Test and if you have exact dates and times when you live streamed and experienced dropped frames that will be useful to them.

This is one of the hardest issues are they problem is outside of your control.

Be patient but firm. Normally an ISP will hear the word 'stream' and think you're trying to watch Netflix and will tell you your download is okay for that. Which it probably is.

But live streaming to Twitch uses your upload and the test shows the path from you over your ISP to Twitch is very, very bad.

Reaching Affilaite or Partnet causes Twitch to send more data over the API and you need to refresh the connection betwteen Streamlabs and Twitch.

I’m having an issue with streamlabs desktop dual streaming YouTube and twitch, twitch works flawlessly but YouTube stream has weird lags, or buffering, some report it as few 4-10 second “rollbacks” or something like that.

Often at the end of the stream, YouTube stream is delayed by 10-20mins. Notably the YouTube VOD turns out flawless, with the exception that it has that same duration of 10-20min missing from the end.

Dropped frames are generally an isp issue. Since it’s a new PC. Make sure you’re NIC drivers are up to date and you don’t have any bloat ware (gaming software that comes with PCs) that’s throttling or anything. Are you streaming to Twitch?
