Make sure you’re logged in Streamlabs Desktop with your YouTube. If you are logged in, log out, wait a minute, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator, wait a minute, and try again.

Post a screen shot of the Encoder drop down menu and a screen shot of all the Output settings. Drag the settings window vertically so all the settings appear in one screen shot.

Im adding a Widget through streamlabs for a follower goal, but its Blank on my screen and not appearing. I read that you had to remove custom CSS so i did that, however its still blank, not sure wwat im doing wrong! its right abopve the game sources (URL is there i just didnt include it in screenshot but was copied directly from streamlabs link)

That looks good. There should be a setting in OBS Studio, browser hardware acceleration. Uncheck that option, restart OBS, and see how it goes.

Also, copy the widget URL and paste it into a blank web page. Let me know if you see or don’t see the Follower Goal there.

Is there any documentation on the Custom Widget available as a Source? I'm trying to create a Death Counter which I can increment via a hotkey, but I see no way to connect a hotkey to something inside the widget.

My guess is that I need to handle the onEventReceived event but I can't figure out how. Also, I'm unsure how to display the custom field's value in the HTML.

Also follow the manual, if any, that came with the capture card.

I no longer have the manual for the capture card. Usually when I use TikTok live studio I just plug my headset into my microphone and it works, thought it would be the same here. The lil bar is moving like the video in the link you sent but I can’t hear it!!! I recorded a lil bit of it just to make the audio can be heard in general and it is, only time I can hear my game is when I plug my headset into my capture card.

So i have set two types of alert boxes settings in Streamlabs, but anytime i switch it, it goes back to the "Default one." how can i change this?

Live with Studio is a completely separate permission and doesn’t automatically grant any other permission.

If you are wanting to stream to TikTok from Streamlabs Console, you need to apply for access.

THEN

idk who to ask - just opened Steamlabs , it gave me a "are you live or recording" which was weird, i hit live. then it took me to my scenes and had to import them again, also weird. and then now it looks like a mobile stream. the scene is vertical and half the screen isn't even showing... been using this for a long time, so idk why it would randomly reset or whatever tf just happened... who and or what can i do to ... fix this

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Thank you, I managed to fix that issue. However, I have another problem that’s puzzling me. After adding and creating a goal on the Streamlabs website, everything works correctly there. But in the Streamlabs Desktop app, it doesn’t work — the goal overlay doesn’t appear either when added directly as a subscription goal or when added as a browser source. Even the numbers and text don’t show up.

That means that Twitch account is already merged in another Streamlabs account.

Please try this:

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking the profile picture and choose Log out.
2. Log in the Streamlabs web site by clicking the Twitch button and log in with your Twitch.

I had an issue for hours last night that has never happened before. I was trying to multistream to Twitch, Kick, and YouTube and use dual ouput on YouTube, but when it would attempt to update YouTube settings and start the stream it would get stuck there in an infinite loop.

It didn't do this when I disabled the dual output though.

just had a REALLY weird thing happen where my horizontal streams ended but im still live vertically? one of my viewers asked me in youtube chat if twitch died and when i checked, i am no longer live on twitch or kick and the horizontal version of my youtube stream also ended, but the vertical one is still live as well as my tiktok stream. what could be causing this??? seems to have happened totally randomly after an hour and 20 mins of being live.

I have a problem with my camera. I use a camera via a capture card with Streamlabs but Streamlabs doesn't always show the camera.
I see the capture card in my camera selection but it often just stays black. It takes some deactivating/re-activating or unplugging and plugging back in again for it to work.

This might help:

First, please delete your game capture source and quit Streamlabs Desktop.

Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder.

Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted.

Go ahead and delete the folder.

Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator.

Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Oh I phrssed that a bit confusingly, sorry. Open a web browser, like Microsoft Edge, navigate to your live stream chat on TikTok, then use Window Capture to capture that Edge Browser window to chat it appear on stream.

You can do it the way you pictured but you'll need to right click on the browser source and choose Interact.

Either way is clunky in my opinion.

Hi, I just picked up a new PC and am having extreme skipping issues when multistreaming to YouTube and Twitch. Doing my own troubleshooting, I don't think it's a hardware related issue as the machine I'm running on is pretty much top-of-the-line in every category and SLOBS's performance window is showing good stream quality with 0% dropped frames. Watching back on both video platforms though, I can see multiple areas where I'm skipping -- it's constant and Twitch's dashboard is showing constant packets of bitrate instability, YouTube's dashboard is showing stream status as healthy with packets of no data. Please help

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The viewer would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

If the viewer doesn’t have their subscriptions public, you won’t get an alert. This is due to the setting on YouTube. It’s not a broke with Streamlabs. There is no fix and no workaround.

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

I am testing Dual-Stream with twitch as my main (horizontal) stream and youtube as my secondary (vertical) stream. So far so good. It works, BUT I can't access the youtube-chat from streamlabs. I can use twitch chat without problems, but there is no youtube-chat tab and in the multi-chat there appear only the twitch messages.
Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

6. At the end of the installer, reboot your PC again

I’m having an issue that when I dual stream on twitch and YouTube, my YouTube stream looks sometimes blurry, and my camera also gets pixelated not as crispy looking .

I have one gig up and one gig down Internet. I have a 4070 super graphics card with a 14 Gen I-9, my base canvas is 1080 P and my output resolution is 1080P at 60 frames and my bitrate is at 8000. And I cannot figure out why my stream gets blurry.

Hey guys I'm running into an error in Streamlabs. I'm using an old theme from NerdOrDie for my overlay and had no problem for years. Now if I try to make any change at all to the chat box I'll get an error that says "The global.theme is not a valid value" when trying to save and it will fail to save.

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Chat Box widget is not showing Youtube livestream chat. After searching, this does not seem to be a know issue. A couple of months ago it was working fine. I made sure that I have my youtube account correctly connected and I've activated youtube as an option in the chat box widget. Still, only Twitch chat is showing.

You have to stream to get your VODs. Look at the TikTok requirements for what you need.

TikTok generally doesn’t think of itself as a primary platform. So you have to meet the requirements (google them) to be approved. This guide has the ticket system for TikTok. You can reach out to them.

You have to have a documented history of live streaming on a platform that is not TikTok. If you just started streaming on Twitch, your history might not be long enough to meet TikTok's requirements.

i just came in here to ask if there was an issue with streamlabs. my StreamSocial was spamming tabs open on my browser, streamlabs was then nopt letting me click on anything with the apps constantly reloading, showing as live then reconnecting every couple of seconds, closed streamlabs and it reopened asking me to log in, logged in, everything was missing eg overlays, settings etc. rebooted and its back like nothing happened 😅

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

Dropped frames are a network issue between you and the ingest. The Twitch Test will reveal that. Make sure you use Medium or Long duration and select all the ingests in your region. Short Duration will get inconsistent results.

Make sure Snipping Tool is set to automatically save screen shots. It should be automatically set that on Windows 11. That option might not exist or be turned off on Windows 10.
