Hello, When running 2 streams to youtube (not through SL) the cloudbot starts in the frist stream I start, and when I start the second stream the cloudbot jumps to the second stream. I am looking for a way to keep the cloudbot in the first stream started. any advise or suggestions would be appreciated

Subject: Issue with Streamlabs plugin and Stream Deck – sounds not triggering from nested scene

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the integration between Streamlabs Desktop (version 1.19.3) and the Streamlabs plugin for Stream Deck (version 2.0.9.0).

Context
• I have a dedicated scene called “soundboard” that contains only audio files.
• This scene is then added into my other main scenes (game, chat, etc.) to keep things organized.
• Until recently, whenever I pressed a button on the Stream Deck, the sound would trigger correctly, no matter which scene was active.

Problem
• Currently, the sound only plays if the “soundboard” scene itself is active.
• If I am on another scene (e.g. “game” or “chat”), the Stream Deck shows an error and the sound does not play.

Question
• Is this a new expected behavior after recent updates?
• Is there a fix or workaround to restore the previous behavior, where I could trigger sounds from the Stream Deck regardless of the active scene?

Update : I installed the 6.8.1 version of Streamdeck and it work perfectly fine! Now do you know where I can report this bug?

Morning,

Decided I want to stream again after a few years but I have for the life of me not been able to resolve the sound issue when I open up Streamlabs Desktop.

Once I open it up, I can't hear anything from my headphones, yet the volume bar is moving as if sound is being made. When I test my stream, the viewers could hear the game audio and my mic just fine. I went on a Discord call and could hear the person helping me and we tried changing different settings, disconnecting and reconnecting my headphones and all other settings on SL but nothing seems to be working. As soon as I close Streamlabs, I get all the audio back (Getting a bit sick of the lovely intro song to Expedition 33 😄 )

It seems like it should be a really easy fix but after three hours last night and about an hour this morning I'm at the end of my tether. Please help me 🙂 Thank you.

Hi. having problems with TikTok connection. Connect in StreamLabs and then Merge in the dashboard that opens continually loops back to User Data Provider Missing error

Disconnected StreamLabs from TikTok authorized apps and now clicking Merge opens the Tik Tok connect page but confirming on this page just goes back to the User Data Provider Missing issue.

Also can't seem to find the RTMP options on my Tik Tok app though I was streaming through Streamlabs yesterday.

Hey everyone, I really need some help setting up my tiktok stream. see the thing is im on a mac so an app like streamlabs or restream is what i keep seeing for people who want to stream on tiktok with a mac. its almost been 1 whole business day since i applied for tiktok access through streamlabs and im not sure why i havent gotten it yet even though im above 1k followers and fit all the requirements.... Currently im using the free trial of Parralel desktop to be able to use tiktok live studio on my mac through a windows emulator. but now its giving me this message that i cant even share screen unless I do it 3 times for more than 25 minutes. using an emulator is definetely not a long term solution because of how laggy the application can be. i rlly want to use streamlabs but im getting anxious that its not going to work. what should i do?

Hi Silver. If you will be streaming to TikTok from Streamlabs beware that your viewers will not have access to your gift gallery, and I believe there were a few other things (like goals) that you won’t be able to set. I unfortunately switched platforms for TT because of this, 100% a TikTok thing, not a Streamlabs thing. TikTok is becoming less friendly about 3rd party streaming services since they now have LiveStudio.

Hey guys, kinda a long shot here. I have been actively using streamlabs for streaming ever since I started. I have had no issues at all streaming for the past 2 years until now. For some reason all of a sudden whenever I go into an application while streaming it seems to just tank my FPS straight to 1 when I usually with no issue run consistent 60 FPS. If I am in a game itll tank it but if I just click out of the game with it still running then my FPS jumps straight back up to 60 no problems but If i click back into the game it just tanks again. I tried combing through everything and I cannot seem to find a fix to this. I know it isnt my hardware or internet.

Hello,

Since the latest Streamlabs update, I have been experiencing two issues:
1. Account display bug – My Twitch username now appears twice in the bottom left of the interface, even though I only have one account linked. This didn’t happen before the update.
2. Stream stability issues – I’m also having bitrate instabilities while streaming on Twitch. My internet connection is stable (I ran several tests), and I never had this problem before the update.

It looks like both problems started right after the most recent update. Could you please help me resolve this?

Anyone know how to fix the sync between StreamLabs activity feed and my actual Twitch activity feed? StreamLabs only showing follows, despite getting subscribers and bits etc. on my last stream. As a result, my subscription/bits/gifted sub alert didn’t appear when these occurred. Refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch.

Follow these steps in order, even if you already done any one of the steps before. Don't skip steps and don't perform them out of order. If you're unsure about any of the steps, don't assume anything, ask first before proceeding.

  1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

  2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

  3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

  4. If you use Streamlabs Desktop or Streamlabs Mobile, log out in those applications.

  5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.

  6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. You can verify this by going back to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scrolling down to Other Connections and examine the Streamlabs connection. ** It should say "Connected a few minutes ago" other short period of time. **

I cannot stream any game without streamlabs dropping frames at an extreme amount. I have some setting wrong somewhere. I can play any game at max graphics, even two or three at once at max graphics. But I boot up streamlabs and go live and I can't even stream Runescape without streamlabs having a stroke. I have a 4090, Ryzen 9 7950x, 64 gigs ddr5, 6 tb's of 990 pro, 2 gigs up/down of fiber, etc etc. Basically all the best stuff nearly. Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

hello, this is my first time using streamlabs plugin for obs and i had some issue. At first, i had problem with the chat box because it doesn't appear on my obs studio. And then i try to copy link from my youtube studio live chat, but instead i got more issue. The youtube studio live chat doesn't pop up, and said that the live chat is currently unavailable. And the worst part, now i can't stream at all because when i start streaming from obs, youtube studio doesn't show my live stream. I tried many things, restarting my obs and streamlabs account, restarting my pc, clear browser cache but nothing work. I tried to open youtube live from another pc with the same account and it had the same issue. So my assumption is that there is something wrong with the connection between YouTube and my Streamlabs account. Can someone help me, I don't know what else to do.

I was checking the Sound Alerts how-to and there's a step for Streamlabs Console, but it mentions adding a source and selecting browser source.

On the console dashboard or the console projects page, I don't see browser source as an option. I've only seen it on the desktop software.

Is this an error on Sound Alerts part? Or is it supposed to be an option for Console users and just isn't showing?

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

If no one else is using the cable modem, have your friend shut down their PC, pull the power cable from the cable modem, leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, plug the power cable back in, let the cable modem come fully up, power on the PC, and the try the Twitch Test again making sure that you choose Medium or Long Duration. Short Duration sounds great but it will give misleading results.

Hello!
I’m having a problem that happens only when I’m multistreaming.

I multistream to Twitch and YouTube.

I can see chat moving in Streamlabs Desktop

My internet works fine

I’m not lagging in-game

But after a while, I get "Reconnect" in Streamlabs.
When I try to restart the stream, I get this error:

Streaming Error:
"Could not access the specified channel or stream key. Please log out and back in to refresh your credentials. If the problem persists, there may be a problem connecting to the server."

This issue happens only when multistreaming.

What I’ve tried so far:

Logged out and back in to Streamlabs

Reset my Twitch stream key

Neither of these helped.
I’m located in Poland if that matters.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi everyone, I seem to be having an issue in Streamlabs in the alertbox section, I am setting up alerts for followers, raids etc but for bits and donation notifications I think I might have found a problem, when I go to test the tipping and bit alerts, I click test then down to twitch tab and click bits, and upon clicking bits both alerts for streamlabs tipping and bits shows up at the same time, I do the same test for tipping by clicking test and then go down to streamlabs then click tipping ( I assume that is the donation alert that goes to our paypal) I checked both the widget URLs and they are both the same? I thought all widgets had their own URL to differentiate the alert pop up? I hope to god this makes sense I am about to pull my hair out. ( Edited to add just in case it's necessary that I am using OBS for my streaming source)

Sounds like you want different Alert Box sources for different alerts.

  1. Go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
  2. Click Filter Events. Uncheck everything except for Follow.
  3. Copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in that URL.
  4. Go back to the Filter Events button, uncheck Follow and check everything else.
  5. Copy the Widget URL and add a new Browser Source (don't reuse the existing one 😉 ) and paste in that URL.

i have a bit of a problem.
i've updated OBS today and now i'm getting an error saying:
'The following OBS plugins failed to load: "sl-browser-plugin" '
i've tried to reinstall the SL plugin but i've got the same error.
anyone encountered this problem by any chance and knows how to fix it?
when i do "Start Stream it's just starting streaming and not popping up the window of streamlabs.

hi! My streamlabs desktop app has not been working for about a week now. I thought it might be an error but I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, logged out, logged back in, and nothing works. So you know that Mac screen capture, also captures the audio from the desktop, well all you have to do is add the screen capture to all your scenes, the scenes that don’t need to see your screen you can hide it by grab the source and move it down to place it underneath everything. This allows you to capture the desktop audio, but without having to show the screen on everyone of your scenes. I haven’t tried it with streaming yet, but I know it works for recording.

The only downside is that it uses a couple more megabytes of RAM and a couple extra percentage of your CPU & GPU. It’s not a great workaround, but it’s efficient enough that it wouldn’t require you to use a third-party plug-in tool that may or may not work.

i am streaming to 2 platforms, i was using botrix for kick and cloudbot for twitch, now i wanted to use cloudbot for kick too at the same time as twitch
in the website when i activate kick, it goes on. testing commands i see it doesnt work. so i refresh cloudbot page to see it auto deactivated on kick again

For some reason I am getting an insance amount of dropped frames out of nowhere (10%-50% dropped frames) usually my bitrate has been normal ~8000kbps but now its running crazy at alik 10k- 11kbps and nothing ive tried tweaking a little or resetting has helped. my internet connection seeeeems to be fine so idk???

Hi. I find F1 25 (steam) crashes during launch when I have streamlabs open (v1.19.5), whether I'm streaming or not. When streamlabs is closed, it doesn't seem to crash. This only started happening a day or two ago.

I verified game files, updated graphics card drivers, tried running both as admin, restarted computer, and checked that windows doesn't need to update.

Any ideas please? In the meantime, I'm going to verify game files again and test again.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube should resolve this.

  1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

  2. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

  3. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for YouTube.

  4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop and Streamlabs Mobile.

  5. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your YouTube. This re-establishes the connection.

  6. 👉 IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button. PLEASE Don't skip this step!

  7. Log back in to all the other Streamlabs products you use.

It's not obvious when you log in, but one of the interstitials will say something like Streamlabs has access to x of 6 scopes. Click there and make sure that all 6 of the boxes are checked and then proceed through the rest of the log in process.

I was streaming last night using streamlabs and streaming to Twitch and TikTok. My audio was showing up fine through the track, as if everything was fine, but looking at twitch and TikTok my audio was cutting out or completely missing. TikTok would actually sound better (when I would get it outputting sound) but Twitch it was terribly choppy, cutting out or just no audio what so ever. I stream using a Mac just for clarification. I tried multiple cables(in case it was a bad USB-C to USB-A) running from my Fifine K688 USB C to USB A, that didn’t help. Tried different USB A ports, that didn’t help. Tried using my mic as an “audio in” source, didn’t work, tried about everything I could think of. I changed my input and output on my mac.. I’m at a loss. Now while this is going on discord voice channel could hear me crystal clear… does anything stand out to you on why discord would sound crystal clear, TikTok would sound fine but Twitch would have very chippy audio? Would it be my mic? If it were why is discord hearing me perfectly..? Is there anything that comes to mind that you could think for me to try to troubleshoot and fix this issue? I see you’re about the only one responding. If so thank you.

When using a Display Capture or Window Capture source with the "Windows 10 (1903 and up)" method, you will have a yellow border surrounding the portion of the screen being captured. Unfortunately, this border cannot currently be removed on Windows 10.

You can try using another capture method in the source properties, but it's possible this will instead produce a black screen.

It is only visible to you, and it will not show up on stream or in recordings.

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Here’s what I recommend you do, remove the display or screen, capture, and audio capture. Replace it with the macOS screen capture send it to the size that you desire. Then shut the app down and reboot. Then try recording and seeing what your results are.

so lately I have been noticing my stream will re-announce in my chat app that its going live but none of my streams stop everything works fine. Except when this happens my youtube stream goes completely green usually just the horizontal one not the portrait. I had this exact problem, first, delete any display captures, and audio captures that you’re using. Then use the macOS screen capture to capture both the video and audio sound. Next check your Internet speed and let me know how many megabytes per second you get.

Don’t have the bandwidth for that, drop the bitrate to 3500. That should fix it, if that doesn’t, then drop to 720p. You say you don’t have this problem with OBS Studios. Then you could import your Streamlabs pfp to OBS (if this fix doesn’t work for you).

I have a better fix to your problem, get a USB-C to Ethernet connection. That should fix it. WiFi can be unstable, (personally experience that problem). That should fix the problem.

Also why does it say Company is general working inc when the updater says logitech? @muted pine streamlabs desktop is not malware and you got it from a first-party source, so there's nothing to worry about
but in the future, when downloading unfamiliar programs or from untrusted sources, drop them to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/
1-4 hits is usually false positives from overzealous a/v software, but 20+ hits is worth investigating

fake websites usually change a letter or two in the domain name in hopes that you won't notice
