This does serve as a notice from Apple for you Intel Mac users that you should start thinking about an upgrade soon. I’d expect within the next year that a lot of software for Mac will become incompatible with iOS 12.

That question requires more information. What PC specs do you have (cpu, gpu at least), what are your stream settings (resolution and fps), what platform(s) are you streaming to? Lastly, what are your current internet speeds (from a speed test, not what the brochure says).

I live stream via KICK. I've been using it for about seven months without any problems. I reset my phone and reinstalled Streamlabs, but even though my stream key and everything else are correct, it still won't start when I try to broadcast. I've reinstalled and deleted the app several times, and the result is the same.

That’s an odd resolution, laptop? Anyway. That system isn’t going to be able to stream and game on ultra high settings. 180hz is your monitor refresh rate, you will be streaming much lower. In streamlabs. Go to settings > output and screenshot that for me? That’s where we are going to make your big changes.

No worries. We don’t have an ingest server test for kick. So. You need to up your bitrate to 3000-4500 for a 720p30fps stream. On your settings > video, your input resolution needs to match what you’re playing in. Less encoder work. Your output and fps look good. You can also play around with changing to the x264 encoder to let your cpu encode instead of your gpu, it would free it up to run valorant better.

Looks like your TikTok channel is already merged into a Streamlabs account.

Try this:

1. Log out of the Streamlabs account you are currently in.
2. Log in by clicking the TikTok button.
3. Unmerge TikTok. If successful, proceed. If unsuccessful, you'll need to submit a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
4. Log out of that Streamlabs account.
5. Log into the Streamlabs account you were using in step 1.
6. Merge your TikTok channel.

Did you click on any of the links in the email you received? That will cause that.
If you get an email saying the sdame thing, then please open a new ticket AND do not click any of the links in that email as that resolves your ticket. Those links are suggestions the system thinks will resolve your issue. From what I can tell, it will require human to look at it so don't click those links!

If you're logged in and also trying to reset a password, there may be an issue either with your browser's cache, or you may be trying to log into 2 different accounts. I'd suggest trying to log in via Incognito or Private Browsing window as a first step.

• Video Capture Device Audio: Check the properties of your video capture device. Echoes can occur if a custom audio device is selected within its settings. Ensure no custom audio device is chosen there. (See example image)
• Open Stream in Browser: Confirm that you do not have your own stream open (and unmuted) in another browser tab or window. This is a very common cause of immediate echoes.
• Windows Audio Device Monitoring: Make sure you are not actively listening to a recording device (like your microphone) from within your Windows audio settings. Be sure to turn off this "listen" option for your recording devices. (See example image)

There is no offical site for previous versions, that being said, Streamlabs auto updates and will just update to the newest version unless you disconnect from the internet prior to opening streamlabs every time.

Help! I am using a macbook and when i opened my streamlabs, it automatically updated. Now nothing on my tikfinity alerts and chat is showing up on streamlabs. It was working fine before the update. There are some #known-issues for the Mac version of streamlabs right now. Widgets is one of them.

Currently, the TikTok integration in Streamlabs Mobile is broken as you are aware. TikTok no longer distributes stream keys. The integration for TikTok in Streamlabs Desktop was supposed to go to Streamlabs Mobile but TikTok has not given approval for that.

But i'm getting rid of twitch and just wanted to primarally be logged into my streamlabs account through my youtube channel, so i did that. And i keep getting this message. I waited 24 hours. Killer's Software Suite is known for its poor performance and issues when trying to stream. Please download the package from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19779/intel-killer-performance-suite.html, completely uninstall all Killer NIC items and run the installer, choosing to only install the Hardware Drivers.

Currently, the TikTok intgegration on Streamlabs Mobile doesn't work. We are waiting on TikTok to approve the new integration for Streamlabs Mobile. After that, it will, for TikTok, function like Streamlabs Desktop.

Hello! I was trying to stream the game PEAK but on Streamlabs it was just a black screen with flashes of the game. I tried everything from removing/adding source. Changing the source. I downgraded the quality of the game. Made sure everything was updated yet Im still having the issue and only with that game. I ran the files for the game to see if anything was corrupted but everything is fine. Is there anything on Streamlabs that I may need to try to help fix this issue?

This might help as well:

First, please delete your game capture source and quit Streamlabs Desktop.

Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder.

Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted.

Go ahead and delete the folder.

Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator.

Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Are you recording while streaming?
Is your bitrate exceeding 75% of your upload bandwidth?

The first stream earlier was to a custom ingest (my second channel) and ZERO issues.

And I was recording while streaming that time, still no issues.

This stream I'm NOT recording, dropped frames right as I start.

My current bit rate is 2250

I always reset my router before streaming.

For YouTube Subscription alerts...

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The viewer would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

Right, if they send money directly to your PayPal, Streamlabs can't detect that.

I'd also make sure your Tipping Alerts are enabled https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox/general/tipping, the Min. Amount to Alert is set to zero, and you have Custom HTML/CSS disabled.

Yeah, I keep dropping frames while trying to stream to only kick. Used to stream to facebook, youtube, and twitch at the same time flawless. Now, ive disconnected everything other than kick. Ive ran speed tests, ive tried multiple different encoder styles, bitrates, resolutions, and it still drops frames. Only time it said my stream was good was when I enabled dynamically change bitrate while streaming. But kick stream was buffering on my channel, and it was limite to 50 bitrate, but doesnt make sense cause my cpu and gpu are not maxed while running it. And my upload speed is 70.5mbps

Kick can be tetchy. Best to have an Output Resolution of 1280x720 and a bitrate of 3500.

Dropped Frames are a network issue between you and the Kick ingest. Vary rarely it can be an issue with internally to your home network.

Do you happen to have an MSI motherboard with built-in Killer ethernet?

While you are waiting on your ticket, you might reach out to your ISP and tell them you are trying to live stream to Kick and are getting disconnected. They should be able to at least remotely check your connection.

Another thing you can try is shut down your computer, pull the power cable from your cable modem, leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, plug it back in, wait for it to come fully up, boot your computer, and finally try again.

What you might try, on the first YouTube channel, is generate a new, variable bitrate streram key and then set that key as default (at least I think you can still do that). And then in Streamlabs Desktop, user recommended settings, log out in Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, log back in, and try again.

• Video Capture Device Audio: Check the properties of your video capture device. Echoes can occur if a custom audio device is selected within its settings. Ensure no custom audio device is chosen there. (See example image)
• Open Stream in Browser: Confirm that you do not have your own stream open (and unmuted) in another browser tab or window. This is a very common cause of immediate echoes.
• Windows Audio Device Monitoring: Make sure you are not actively listening to a recording device (like your microphone) from within your Windows audio settings. Be sure to turn off this "listen" option for your recording devices. (See example image)

was seeing if anyone was online and able to assist instead of submitting a ticket first.

i was outputting my streamlabs to tiktok studios via virtual camera. since streamlabs is still limited and won't send the verticle of dual output to the virtual camera, i was trying to copy the scene and create a seperate verticle only scene for this so when i want to dual stream i still can and flip between them. well in the process i accidently clicked on create scene collection and it blanked my entire stream setup. how can i undo or reverse this bc i had a very complex and through stream scenes setup

Inlclude the Scene Collection name and the last date and time that it existed before you launched Streamlabs Desktop today. Only the staff can restore Scene Collections. Do you have an Nvidia video card? If you, you can switch the Output Mode to Advanced and then on the Record tab, select a different encoder (don't set it to Same as stream encoder). Then enabled the Rescale Output option and set the recording for 1440p.

I am using stream labs desktop MAC OS. yesterday when i opened my application, the source "MAC OS SCREEN CAPTURE" suddenly just disappeared. when i tried to use screen capture it shows both of my monitors but does not give me preview feed for one of them. I also tried using the monitor that did gave me preview but it does not capture the screen audio. i am very frustrated. Someone please help.

Interesting. I don't have a Mac so I can't test locally. I'd suggest logging out in Streamlabs Desktop, restart Streamlabs Desktop, log back in, and see if the missing source is there.

You should be able to change that via the Output Resolution. It might look bad though if you go higher than the resolution of your monitor.

its not the monitor issue its the virtual webcam im outputting to the other program. i see the stream output settings but not the virtual cam output setting. my scene is set to 1080 x 1920 "vertical dimension layout" so its compatible with tok. just in tok the virtual camera is hard locked to 1920 x 1080 bc thats what streamlabs is outputting by default

Why are the resolution and framerate sometimes not the same as my OBS output settings?
If you open an OBS-Camera device in a 3rd party application before starting the output in OBS, OBS-Camera will default to 1080p 30fps. If you start OBS first, it will use whatever is set as the Output resolution and framerate in OBS Studio's options, under Settings -> Video.

Hello, I recently ran into an issue when using the streamlabs chatbot. When I turn on the "word protection" it automatically bans anyone that say's anything in the chat. I do have words added to the list that are just like * asterisk, and characters that I don't recognize added to the blacklist. Could this be causing the problem because the bot doesn't recognize the symbols and banning everyone?

Make sure the Scene Collection you are importing doesn't have any special characters in the name and that OBS Studio is not running when you perform the import.

There isn’t a previous version. Even if you found one somewhere not from streamlabs (which I do not recommend), it auto updates so it would get you to the newest version when you open it, unless you disconnect from the internet every time you open it.

I’m experiencing an issue with Streamlabs Desktop. My sources are still visible in my scene collection, but my screen capture no longer works (it just shows a black screen). In addition, all the filters I had carefully set up on this source are missing.

If you're streaming on a platform that isn't supported by Cloudbot, you'd have to check the Moderation settings for your channel on that platform directly.

1. Turn off Cloudbot.
2. Disable Media Share Widget.
3. Remove Media Share Browser source.
4. Wait 5 minutes.
5. Turn on Cloudbot.
6. Enable Media Share Widget.

If there is fast motion or if the scene is really dark, like in a dark room or a night, there will always be pixelation.

The stream itself will never look exactly like what you see on your monitor.

Hello, I'm having issues with my OBS after streamlabs installation.
I was streaming normally with my monitor resolution in 4k, streaming on Kick only, my plan for streamlabs is to stream in Kick and Twich, but know my OBS is giving encoder error, even if I stream only in Kick.

Kick can be very finicky. If you're just starting out on Kick, they will limit you to 1280x720. Higher resolutions are for Kick Partners or Affiliates.

I used Streamlabs on Windows and never had this problem. However, now on macOS, I tried to install it, and when I tried to capture Desktop Audio, it doesn't appear. When I try to change the settings, I can't pre-determine which Desktop Audio to use because it shows as "No Data." Also, in the Global settings, when I try to change the settings, it only gives me the DISABLED option.

4. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out there.

5. If you use Streamlabs Mobile, log out there.

6. Now navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your new Twitch name by clicking the Twitch button. Do not log in with your Streamlabs ID.

7. Your new Twitch name should then appear here: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms

8. You should now be able to control Cloudbot.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube should resolve this.

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

3. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for YouTube.

4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop and Streamlabs Mobile.

I have a behringer UM2 audio interface, my mic audio was coming through fine on my stream but I took 2 weeks off and now its not working. The sound bar in the mixer lights up when i talk but no audio is coming through on my stream.

I'm trying to get my audios to mix and be seperate, I'm using it to test out in DaVinici to practice on cause I'm trying to slowly move away from camtasia's crap ass software. TBF it's all I know.

So when I tell it in my settings to record it does and doesn't at the same time. What am I doing wrong?

I would download and install VLC and use that to verify that your audio tracks are working as expected.

The stream track is always track 1. Use the other tracks to split your audio if you want to edit that later. So you need to always have track 1 selected and then select the other audio track you want that audio to be. probably a resolution issue. most places only allow for 16:9 resolutions so you need to make sure that your base canvas and your output resolution are 16:9 (like 1920x1080, etc). If your game is naturally a different resolution, you should see the black bars there and you could add overlays or make the game bigger

Good morning, I am in major confusion trying to set up my audio through the capture card within the software, and it's not working or making any sense to me as to why it isn't. I have zero game audio, and the mic is not capturing at all.

you would need to share some more info like what audio setup do you have (like headphones, mic) so that way if there is a setting on one of those we could tell you

if you have your headset plugged into your controller and you expect that to send to your mic audio to your computer (unless you're using something like astro a40s with a mixamp or something) that just won't happen. you would need two mics or to plug in your headset into your computer.

But afaik there's no way to export your settings from twitch and import it into streamlabs

that doesn't really help to know exactly why your microphone is picking up your desktop audio. like you need to share what your setup is (so you ahve a capture card, but what headset are you using, what mic are you using, how do you have it connected, etc.)

Yeah, I did the 1.19.3 update last night. I am still seeing some glitching in parts of my stream. For a bit it’s perfectly fine then the next its glitching. I changed the bitrate, took off my dual output etc. it really limits what I can do now. So frustrating

I haven’t found any solution. I did exactly what you did but I just streamed horizontal only. It was the only thing I can do. Every time I go dual output my stream goes crazy

I went from 6000 bitrate 1080 30 fps dual output to 4000 bitrate horizontal mode only and lower resolution

GOXLR is connected to a macbook, the microphone does not want to work in Streamlabs via the application, if you close the goxlr application, the microphone starts working. What could be the problem? The connections are as in the picture, I tried different variations here. Also, if you test the microphone in the goxlr application itself, it works there

Then clear the cache for all time in your web browser, completely restart the whole web browser, and try again.

After your packets leave your cables modem, they travel over the internet. That part of the internet is not under your control. You will need to call your Internet Service provider and tell them you are trying to live stream to YouTube and are getting disconnected.

Having an issue with stream labs recent events where it never updates. Yesterday it was fine but todays it just doesn't update at all. I have a feeling enabling affiliate for twitch has something to do with it but all sources say the same thing log out, log back in and or clear your cache. Done that and didn't do anything :/

Again, this all started when I enabled affiliate for twitch. I noticed that stream labs was only active before I enabled affiliate in connections in turn I disconnected all connections, removed the extension, re-installed the extension and reconnected. I'm just lost, I usually try my best to troubleshoot before but again, I'm completely lost. If anyone can possibly help it would be greatly appreciated :)

hey guys, i've been charged for 19 months for a subscription i never started. over $150 unknowingly drained from my account. it started february LAST YEAR, 2024, and every single charge was from "Melon app" . the name changed in 2023, why would the knowingly deceive people by charging them under a name they are no longer associated with?I had no idea what that was and when i googled it only said it was a music app, so i could not find the source of the scam. has anyone had luck with their support team giving full refunds? Since idk what to do about the sample rate of the capture card, you could try adjusting it in Streamlabs Desktop. So to do that you would go to Settings > Audio and then there should be a sample rate at the top. Change that to the other option (so either 44.1 khz or 48 khz) and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you're still having hte problem

your base canvas resolution is set to a 9:16 instead of a 16:9. so just go to settings > video and change it to something like 1920x1080

correct. instead you should reduce your output resolution so your bitrate can be sufficient enough for the resolution

If you notice pixelation or blockiness on your stream, it often means your bitrate isn't high enough to properly encode your video for the content you're showing. Consider increasing it within these recommended ranges!
