Hey @gritty isle I am having an issue with the stream delay option. When I select the button, and click on Go Live. It shows me the Starting 360s goes to 359s and then jumps to End Stream. It will not stream with a delay. Any help would be appreciated.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

@everyone hello, i have a question reguarding scene transitioning. i have it setup to too where i caputure a clip and i change the scene to reshow the clip as an instant replay. however i have a very forgetful mind and might not return to the main scene after my clip plays. is there anyway to set up a transition where it will change scenes for me after the clip ends or do i have to manually press my hotkey to go back and fourth between each scene??

I currently use a tool called Keyboard Maestro to automatically switch scenes using hotkeys in a macro

I am currently experiencing an issue where I can't use hotkeys in the live scene within studio mode. The hotkeys only work in the preview Edit mode. Any thoughts on your live hotkey use? Keyboard Maestro is free for 30 days and only $36 for a lifetime

Hello fellas, I have been having an issue for the last few months and this is kind of a last resort for me. I have been multi stream on twitch and youtube for the last little while and have never able to merge my youtube account to my streamlabs account. I recently linked the youtube account with a different email so I could delete the account and be able to merge it with my main one but that still hasnt allowed me to merge the youtube account with streamlabs. I have searched through every forum on reddit and no solution has allowed me to merge accounts. As a work around I was using the RTMP feature that youtube provides in order to vertically stream on youtube and horizontally stream on twitch, but it now doesn't stream on youtube anymore. It says I am live on streamlabs but youtube studio isn't getting an input. Can someone please save me from the never ending runaround

So they're kinda technically the same account? Sort of? I worry it wil delete my current streamlabs stuff

There's been a back log tickets lately so please be patient. From what you're describing, I can't tell you how to resolve this; It will take a staff member as they have access; Volunteers don't. I need help with my streamlab alerts on streamlabs console please...I can't get them to work when I send a test. Note...I'm doing everything from my phone, as I don't have a laptop or pc.

On Twitch....I have streamlabs authorized under "Streaming Tools-Third Party Connections" and have the Streamlabs Extension configured and activated.
On Streamlabs Console...I've set up an alert box on the scene(it's the only thing on there except the gameplay and is above the gameplay layer). I've toggle on "use streamlab settings".
On streamlabs.com/dashboard.... I've set up my alerts, saved them and launched them. They work as intended in the preview, but when I send a test alert, they will not show up on streamlabs console or my stream.

Error code 3000 is a user side error. There are a few fixes the viewer having it can follow. Too much to spam the chat with, but Google “Twitch error 3000” and the first 5 pages have fixes, even the AI summary will probably resolve it.

Can you rephrase that? So you end your stream and the VOD is not saved it of you log out and log in the VOD is back but when you stream again, that previous VOD go away? That doesn’t sound like any of the platforms we integrate with.

Then I would download a fresh Streamlabs Desktop installer. Make sure Streamlabs Desktop isn’t running. Run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation; no need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer, reboot your PC, and try again.

I need help with my streamlab alerts on streamlabs console please...I can't get them to work when I send a test. Note...I'm doing everything from my phone, as I don't have a laptop or pc.

On Twitch....I have streamlabs authorized under "Streaming Tools-Third Party Connections" and have the Streamlabs Extension configured and activated.
On Streamlabs Console...I've set up an alert box on the scene(it's the only thing on there except the gameplay and is above the gameplay layer). I've toggle on "use streamlab settings".
On streamlabs.com/dashboard.... I've set up my alerts, saved them and launched them. They work as intended in the preview, but when I send a test alert, they will not show up on streamlabs console or my stream.

Yes, I am logged in with my twitch account. Where would I find the other connections spot you are talking about? I'm guessing it's connected there because when I ran a test stream, my gameplay and other scenes came through fine. It was just the alerts that didn't work.

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The viewer would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

Ahh okay, unfortunately bluetooth devices are very hit or miss with the mobile app. They aren't natively supported due to the vast amount of possibilities in play with bluetooth devices. There's no guarantee that they will work properly with the app due to this. I'm sorry about that!

I thought it might have been the fault of the layout editor, but i no longer think that's the cause. Right clicking yields different results on my end compared to theirs.

Their editor display seems to show up, but is not a black screen, matches the color of streamlabs' background, AND still allows & shows performance mode if it is enabled by right clicking.

Cloudbot only works with the first stream that it sees over the API. That maybe the horizontal stream or the vertical stream. There is no way to make it available on both or force it to one or the other.

And looking at the documentation for Chatbot, I don't see that variable to therefor Chatbot won't do what you are expecting.

Reboot your PC and launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator.

If that does not resolve the issue, reboot your PC again and then download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs web site. Run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first! At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC again and then see if Streamlabs Desktop will successfully launch.

I am trying to stream my nintendo switch through my mac laptop and its fairly new. I adjusted the bitrate and everything according to my download speeds which is around 500mbps and upload of speeds around 50. I feel like these are good numbers, but for some reason the output is very laggy and choppy. i have all the software up to date. is there something im doing wrong? im using the elgato hd60 s+ capture card

Reboot your PC again and then download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs web site. Run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. Also make sure you have enough free space on the drive you are saving your recordings to.

hey guys im new here, im having an issue with my camera on streamlabs, i have a c922 logitech cam, very standard plug n play. it works through my windows camera app, and discord, now when i try to use it on streamlabs, my streamlabs just hangs. What i mean by that is, if i make a brand new scene, and add a brand new source, video capture device, when it opens up the "settings for video capture device" tab, it just gets a circular loading icon forever, and i can no longer click on anything else on streamlabs. any ideas whats going on? i have the latest drivers installed, I run streamlabs as administrator, i enabled streamlabs to bypass my windows firewall defender, i turned off hardware acceleration in streamlab settings, and i still got nothing. please help

Logging out of Desktop
Logging out of Kick Account on Streamlabs Dashboard
Log back in to Kick in Dashboard
Log back into Desktop

Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch.

Follow these steps in order, even if you already done any one of the steps before. Don't skips steps and don't perform them out out order.

If you're unsure about any of the steps, don't assume anything, ask first before proceeding.

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).

5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.

6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. You can verify this by going back to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scrolling down to Other Connections and examine the Streamlabs connection. ** It should say "Connected a few minutes ago" other short period of time. **

7. IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button. ** PLEASE Don't skip this step! **

I’m reaching out for support. I use your software daily and stream across all major platforms, including TikTok. During my streams, I also play Spotify in the background.

To avoid copyright issues, I’ve disabled VODs on Twitch and no longer stream to YouTube (since they don’t offer the option to turn off VODs). My goal is to record raw gameplay footage—without the Spotify audio—so I can upload clean videos to YouTube.

I’ve tried every combination of enabling Tracks 1 and 2, adjusting audio settings for both streaming and recording. However, when I configure audio tracks, it either cuts off my mic or disables my TikFinity alerts. The result is unusable footage with Spotify still in the background or missing audio sources.

Any guidance on how to properly set up clean recordings while preserving alerts and mic audio would be greatly appreciated.

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

You want the FPS from the capture card, the refresh rate of your monitor(s), and the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to be a multiple of 60. So either 60 or 120, which ever is support by all three components. Likely the capture card will be limited to 60. Basically if any other number don’t divide evenly by 2, you will get lag.

So thus some people want their refresh rate to be 144. That doesn’t divide evenly by 2.

Are you using the global audio settings or are you splitting your audio? If global audio settings, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Audio and make sure the correct device is selected - don’t use Default. If a cumulative Windows Update was recently applied, you would definitely need to research your desktop audio and microphone devices.

In Streamlabs Desktop, click the gear icon (lower left) to bring up Settings. Then click Audio. Then specifically selected the correct Desktop Audio and Microphone devices then click Done to save the settings.

Delete that video capture source from each scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

That would be why chat is having an issue. Make sure you log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Go to the Streamlabs web site on every decide you access it with and log out by clicking your profile picture in the upper right and choose Log out. If you use Streamlabs Console or the standalone Streamlabslels, log out in those as well.

The navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. Make sure the new Twitch name appears here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms. If it does, then log back in in Streamlabs Desktop. If the Streamlabs web site does not show your new Twitch name, let me know.

I'd suggest rebooting your PC and then download a fresh Streamlabs Desktop installer.

Launch the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first.

At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC.

Once the PC is fully back up, try again your work with the video capture source(s).

Hey guys im having an issue with my camera on streamlabs, i have a c922 logitech cam, very standard plug n play. it works through my windows camera app, and discord, now when i try to use it on streamlabs, my streamlabs just hangs. What i mean by that is, if i make a brand new scene, and add a brand new source, video capture device, when it opens up the "settings for video capture device" tab, it just gets a circular loading icon forever, and i can no longer click on anything else on streamlabs. any ideas whats going on? i have the latest drivers installed, I run streamlabs as administrator, i enabled streamlabs to bypass my windows firewall defender, i turned off hardware acceleration in streamlab settings, and even reinstalled streamlabs and i still got nothing. please help here is a picture of my issue

Restart your Xbox and try it again. I've seen this happen with Webcams attached to the Xbox but never been able to figure out how to fix that.

Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Interesting. Seems there's something odd about your connection thought, I'd go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server and specifically choose any of those ingests, other than Los Angeles, with a quality score of 100 and see how the next stream goes.

For moderation purposes, all support has to be done here in this channel. I understand your issue, seen it many times and even had it myself before. Try the Seattle ingest and see how it goes. If you still have disconnects, call your Internet Service Provider and let them know you're trying to live stream to Twitch and are being disconnected.

Follow these steps in order, even if you already done any one of the steps before. Don't skips steps and don't perform them out out order.

If you're unsure about any of the steps, don't assume anything, ask first before proceeding.

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).

5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.

6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. You can verify this by going back to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scrolling down to Other Connections and examine the Streamlabs connection. ** It should say "Connected a few minutes ago" other short period of time. **

7. IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button. ** PLEASE Don't skip this step! **

8. Log back in to all the other Streamlabs products you use.

Hello everyone -- I've got a strange issue that I'd like to get some help on.

A streamer friend of mine asked me to troubleshoot some issue in streamlabs. I jumped into mine to help and I noticed all my notifications got reset to an old one I no longer use. Haven't used in a year or so.

I shrugged it off, reset to what I want to use now -- all those assets are still there -- saved, and then hit preview. It's playing the new audio and the old audio, only showing the old gif.

@mossy ridge create a new scene, run this game, copy your existing game capture source into this scene, add a new application audio output capture source, select this game, add another application audio output capture source, select discord, see if both are being captured correctly

you may have multiple widget themes https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/widgetthemes I would check there to see if you got multiple themes. if you do, enable a different one to see if your alerts are there

also for some reason, the names of the chatters gets cut out sometimes and instead replaced with "..." if anyone knows a workaround and could maybe help me that would be great.
