Hello, I am having an issue with the exporting function of the streamlabs editor. I have finished editing a video around 2 minutes and 36 seconds long. I went to export the video, and after exporting and reviewing the video before posting, I noticed that the audio would cut out from 1:20 to 1:35. Within the editor, the audio does no such thing and continues to be consistent. Any way I can fix this?

Task manager is saying that obs64 is using over half my cpu usage for some reason. It wasn't doing this before so is there some way to fix this or should I just move to a different streaming app?

@light mural obs64 is a part of streamlabs desktop that does all scene composition and encoding work;verify you're not using software encoding in settings>output, check sources, maybe you have browser sources or media sources playing high resolution videos w/ alpha channel; or yes, try obs-studio, it's easier to troubleshoot

So I'm trying to make changes to my Streamlab ID information but every time I try, I get a prompt to use an authenticator or backup code though I can sign into the dashboard and I'm signed in already with the app. Anyone know how the backup codes would have been sent to me? Does streamlabs allow some sort of recovery?

Hey everyone,
Has anyone run into this issue before? On the editor's page, the panel just isn’t displaying any images. I’ve already tried resetting the settings through the options menu, but that didn’t help. The overlay links seem to be set up correctly, so I don’t think the problem is with the links or overlays—it looks like it might be something with the desktop app itself.
(I’ve rebooted Windows and even re-downloaded the app from the official site, but the issue started right after logging in.)

Would appreciate any suggestions or if anyone’s come across a fix for this. Thanks!

On Mac, streamdeck plugin for slobs desktop won’t load the scenes. It’s just stuck fetching scenes. I’ve tried opening slobs first, then streamdeck, restarting, reinstalling the plugin. Nothing is fixing i. I’d love some tips/advice!

to those who want to know how go to the button called Scenes and you should see a small arrow on the left of it, click it and you should see a lot of other scenes like Untitled 1v. Untitled, and a bunc of other scenes. Now if u never messed with those untitled ones, scroll down until u see Scenes, and click that. That should be the original Scene before you clicked Import OBS. Import obs simply makes a new Scene called Untitled into Streamlabs. IT NEVER DELETES NOR GETS RID OF ANYTHING

How can I set up Streamlabs Mobile so that the video being streamed to Kick—and later downloaded—is completely clean, with no overlays, alerts, emotes, or popups on screen?

I want the footage to be clean and professional so I can easily edit it into vlog content afterward. Any advice or steps you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a reason why YouTube is the only platform failing to start the stream? This has been going on for awhile now, but it always fixes itself after the first try. Now, YT refuses to start up, while the other platforms stream just fine.

Yes, the embedded chat dock is read-only for YouTube. You should be able to use the multistream chat since it looks like you have an active Streamlabs Ultra subsciption.

Hey there! Just wondering if there’s something I can do to make YouTube Subscription alerts more consistent. Right now it only picks up like 1 every 10. Maybe %50 on a good day but nothing I seem to do makes it 100% like the Twitch alerts. Thanks!

Hey guys! Im new to streamlabs (streaming in general) and i need help with adjusting my sounds. Hardware: i use a PS5, an Elgato Capture Neo, Razer Siren v3 Mini, an older HP laptop and an Elgato Chat Link Pro. Folllwing Problem: In my scenes i have my facecam, my Capture Card and my mic. The Capture Card audio is set to monitoring and Output. The Output is pretty loud and my Monitoring sooo quiet. I can barely hear my game or my mates in DC.

I thought about duplicating the Elgato in my scenes to put one in monitoring and turn it up and one to Output and turn it down. But when i duplicate the Elgato it doesnt give me a second sound in my Mixer window.

Whats the Best way to be able to hear my game better and louder but have the stream not be too loud.

Hey guys, since a couple of days ago I've been having issues regarding the audio sources, it's not capturing any audio apart from my microphone. When I select stuff like the audio from a game or Spotify for example, nothing gets shown on my mixer, and therefore nothing but my mic works. I already deleted it all of my previous sources and redoing it but nothing works, not even my global desktop audio.

I'd follow these steps to refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Kick. Also note that if your chat is in Follower Only mode, Cloudbot may not work as expected as Streamlabs will never follow you.

To Disconnect Your Kick Account:

  1. Log out of Streamlabs.com and Streamlabs Desktop. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
  2. Log into your Kick account and go to https://kick.com/settings/connections
  3. Find Streamlabs and click "Disconnect"
  4. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Kick account to re-establish the connection.
  5. Also navigate back to Streamlabs.com and log in with your Kick account.
  6. Voilà, you are done!

How would one use Streamlabs to stream on Younow. Streamlabs asks for a url and stream key but no URL is given thru Younow only a stream key with an option below to enter an RTMP key from Twitch. Or is this just not possible anymore?

Secondly, have you applied and been granted access to Live with Streamlabs?

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.

If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.

If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.

After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

Hello, I’ve been trying to connect my Discord Voice Channel Audio to StreamLabs so that viewers can hear the other voices in the channel, and it will not work. I’ve tried every method I could find on the internet (half of them didn’t apply to Mac) and just can’t get it to go through. I even tried adding it as a browser source and logging in using the “interact” feature, but certain letters and numbers just don’t go through when typing with that method, and pasting my email or password from elsewhere also doesn’t work. Been using StreamLabs for about a year now, and have streamed in VR and even done streams using my old PS2 and it’s been pretty straightforward. But the most difficult thing I’ve tried to do is just connect Discord audio, because NOTHING is working. What am I missing or doing wrong? Why did I have an easier time connecting a 3-generation old console than to just get 2 (supposedly) modern and up-to-date/current programs (on the same computer) to simply connect. Is there anyone who has a clue about how to do this? Or what I’m doing wrong? I've used streamlabs consoles 7 day trial and have been frankly underwhelmed by the promises. I planned to cancel the membership after the trial but it ended a day early and tried to charge my account. Hi, I am attempting to stream and randomly my sound completely dies, not just on OBS but my windows has a "Audio Service Not Running" error that shows everything muted but then the sound comes back after a few minutes. However no audio input is accepted and I have to restart OBS completely for it to get audio back.

I cannot find a work around, please help me? I can't stream like this.

I'm having some serious trouble with Talk Studio, especially with my external microphone and how it's affecting how my computer runs.

My mic doesn’t work properly in Talk Studio—it’s either way too quiet or not picking up any sound at all on the livestream, even though It works when I test it with the functional test feature inside Talk Studio. It works just fine in Zoom and other apps, so I know the mic itself is working. Also, Talk Studio is using a lot of my computer’s power, which slows everything else down. Once I close the app, my computer runs normally again. Because of how much power it’s using, there’s a lot of lag and delays during recording or live sessions, which makes it really hard to use. Another issue is that sometimes the recording won’t stop, even when I click the stop button. It just keeps going.

For reference, I’m using a high-quality external Rode NTG mic, and my system is an iMac M1 running macOS Sonoma 15.5 (24F74). Everything else on my computer works smoothly—these problems only happen with Talk Studio.

I’m trying to use Talk Studio to make videos, but with these problems, it’s not really usable right now. Can you help me fix the mic issue, cut down the lag, and make things run better overall? If there are any known bugs, settings I should change, or tips you can share, I’d really appreciate it.

Im having an issue thats just started. Yes, I've seen the issue with OBS Studio, Browser Sources, and Windows 11. I'm not a Streamlabs employee or developer so I cannot comment on your ticket or when this fix will get pulled into a Streamlabs Desktop release or hotfix. I'd reply to the latest email you have on the ticket and ask for a status.

There is a back log of tickets, mainly due to TikTok, so please be patient and they will get to you.

This fix is in OBS Studio 31.1 .0 Beta 1.

For some reason my el gato HD 60 capture won’t show up on devices in streamlabs. But it’s showing up on my tv like the cables are working just fine. Also it’s showing up on device manager as “Game Capture HD”. I’ve uninstalled all drivers and programs several times and restarted my pc and didnt fix anything. So, I have two Alert Box Variations set up. But, consistently, mid-stream, at the time of the actual donations, the only alert that comes up is the standard alert.

I have two variations, one "when amount is at least 10" and one "when amount is at least 20".

When a donation actually happens mid-stream, however, I always get the standard alert (as show in testing, image 1, wood mask icon - even if the amount is 10 or higher). If I replay the alert through the Recent Events tab, however, it plays the correct variation (golden mask icon) for that donation.

Images 3 and 4 are the settings for my standard alert and for my "when amount is at least 10" alert.

(The third variation on the menu is a recent one i've just added for jumpscare donations, but I'm not sure it'll work now considering the track record with the other two)

Alright, one more issue, the Stream labs extension on OBS studios has trobule using pre made broadcasts. Every time I use one it say "failed to start Stream, We were unable to fetch anvalid streming key" I have reconnected my Youtube but it hasn't made a differnce

This is actively being investigated by Elgato. I can share what I found and did to resolve this issue. I would also suggest screen shotting along the way and make notes and report this over at the Elgato discord.

  1. Don’t run Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. Counter intuitive but it makes a big difference.
  2. On buttons that show the ⛓️‍💥 icon in the upper right; you will need to delete and recreate those buttons. I could find no other way to fix those other than recreate them. I had to recreate actions inside multi action folders as well.

Because of some power issues, we had to switch to streaming from Mobile application rather than the desktop App!

It was within the same stream!

So the first half was from Desktop and second half was from Mobile Application (Not StreamLabs)!

Does this affect? I've not faced such issue before!

If you going live on a platform that we have integration with, in this case YouTube, all events should be detected and displayed on the Recent Events page as long as you have that account merged in your Streamlabs account, which it sounds like you do.

YouTube can sometimes cannot deal with stream interruptions gracefully. Did the URL for the live stream remain the same or did you get a different URL?

Regrading the second paragraph, I'm not so sure if the URL changed, but the people were on the same stream! THey were not forced to reload or anything as such! It was first time that I tried making such switch, it worked well, but I'm not a 100 percent sure about the URL!

Hmmmm, okay. I'm not exactly sure what happened with the Superchat alerts. Since they were working during the 'first part' of the stream, I'm inclined to say that there was an issue behind the scenes at YouTube that caused this since indeed the Superchat alerts from the 'second part' were not detected by Streamlabs.

Only real way to test would be to go live from the mobile application and see if any Superchat alerts are detected. If so, then I'd chalk up your experience with this report to the power issues.

I would reboot your PC. When it starts back up, don't start any applications. If you have any other screen recording software that starts a boot, quit those applications as well.

Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator by right clicking on the shortcut and choose Run as administrator.

If you still have issues, quit Streamlabs Desktop, download a fresh installer from here https://streamlabs.com/, run the installer as administrator, let it install over your existing installation (no need to uninstall first and your scenes and sources won't be removed), at the end of the installer it may ask to launch Streamlabs Desktop, don't let the installer do that but rather quit the installer, reboot your PC again, and finally try a recording once the PC is fully back up - again making sure that any other screen recording software is not running.

We try and keep them at bay but they are relentless.

Please go to your Discord settings, select Content and Social, choose Streamlabs in the drop-down menu, and then toggle off the options shown below. Then they won't be able to contact you via DM and won't be able to send Friend Requests.

Please run the Twitch Test (see the next post from the bot).

Use Medium or Long Duration and select all the ingests in your region - don't only select just the ingest nearest you. Then screen shot the results.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Hello im trying to upload a file to the onlinve video editor But it gets stuck at the last part where it just says processing forever.

I've also been having issues with Streamlabs video editor website. Since yesterday night around 8pm I've also been dealing with videos not exporting and any clips I try to upload are stuck in "processing", which means I cannot use them to edit. I've tried clearing my browser cache, logging out and back in on different devices, disconnecting my wifi, all to no avail. Streamlabs video editor is basically a very pretty brick I can't use.

I even created a brand new account and uploaded a clip that's just over a minute long. It's been 17+ minutes and counting, the clip is still stuck processing.

I am reading https://dev.streamlabs.com/docs/socket-api I have a few questions to confirm my understanding:

  1. Is this a consolidated API to have a callback when a certain event happens on my stream whether it's on twitch/youtube live? Events such as someone leaves a comment on my live and this realtime event will get triggered on my end?

  2. Is there a tiktok version of this? the docs is 7 years old, i just want to make sure i have access to tiktok data

  3. What kind of latency should I expect? From comment sent on user client to me receiving the event

slobs isn't outputting separate tracks for mic and desktop/game audio when recording is opened in editing software.
The two sources SEEM like they different at least.

I have a problem with exporting a video in Streamlabs Video Editor. For two days now, no video wants to finish exporting. It doesn't matter if it's long or short. I have 200gb of free space.

I've configured custom alerts for both my YouTube and Twitch channels. While most alerts are functioning correctly, I'm encountering an issue specifically with the YouTube Gifted Membership alert.

The image I uploaded appears correctly during preview and when using the test alert function. However, during a live stream, when a viewer gifts a membership, a completely different (default or unrelated) alert is triggered instead of the custom one I set. anyone can help with this?

Hi! I am looking to utilize the record feature inside of streamlabs to record a video and I would like that video to have multiple channels of audio ie. desktop sound separated from microphone sound in the recored file. When I go to Settings -> Output -> Recording: with output mode being set to advanced. I have the recording format set to "mkv" but it only lets me select one audio track at a time. Did you just update your Stream Deck to V6.9?

If so, the Streamlabs Desktop integration is no longer included. Please go to the Elgato Marketplace from the Strream Deck app and find and install the Streamlabs Desktop plugin.

Note that some existing button that are actions from Streamlabs Desktop may then show the ⛓️‍💥 icon. If this happens, delete the button (or action) and add it back.

The "Interact" feature within the Browser Source is not working for me!

Despite trying so hard and searching on the Internet, I couldn't get it to work! It's simply unresponsive, it registers some keys, some unwanted, some are not registered! Removing the CSS didn't help either!

I'm on mac! I did look up for old texts regarding the same issue, but couldn't find the answer! The last person with the same issue was also on mac!

Any idea, @gritty isle ?

Hello, everyone!

I have an issue with collab cam. It works for some time, from 30 sec to 3-4 mins, and then shut down. Guest need to reconnect so it can work additional 3-4 mins, but it isn't an option for streaming.

I installed StreamLabs only yesterday, so don't know about it much and it probably can be issue with some settings I didn't set up, but I don't know how to fix it.

I am not sure but theres a thread post outside of discord where the latest version of OBS causes valorant to not load or crash due to the latest version not being compatitible with vanguard. Once I downgraded to 30.2, my OBS started working with valorant now.

hey so a month and a half ago i had been using the dual output feature to stream to tiktok and twitch at the same time. I can start a recording from Streamlabs or OBS. Once I click "stop recording" the red stays buffering and I have to exit the application because it freezes. I've tried to save to different recording path files and even reset my settings but no success. When I check the file I saved recordings on, it shows the file but then says corrupted upon opening it. Any advice or anyone having the same issue?

hello. can anyone help me? I have started my stream on twitch through streamlabs obs recently. The days before today's update, I could normally capture my valorant gameplay. If you're having the same issue in Streamlabs Desktop AND OBS Studio, it is likely an issue with the connection of the capture card. https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/elgato-capture-card-setup-with-streamlabs-desktop We have a guide here that shows how to set up a capture card in Streamlabs Desktop (this is for Elgato, but other capture cards can follow a similar process).

Hey just looking for some advice. I've been streaming with streamlabs since December of 2024 with my pc. About 2 weeks ago I started to experience dropped frames (with OBS as well.) I just got done talking with my ISP they couldn't find anything wrong with my internet that would be causing anything. I've had my bitrate set to 6000 since I started, running 60 fps as well it all worked out fine. Since it has started this I've dropped to 3000 bitrate with 30 fps my resolution is 1280x720 my CPU and GPU are still running fine I've been watching them while I stream. I have all my drivers up to date I did everything that streamlabs has on its dropped frames guide. I'm honestly feeling defeated, I don't know if I turned on a setting that I shouldn't have or not. I'm still learning a bit on all of this and would appreciate some help

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Those quality scores are on the low side. I would reach out to your Internet Service Provider and report to them that you are live streaming to Twitch and are getting disconnected. Be patient with them as often the call screener will hear 'streaming' and will assume you're trying to watch Netflix.

Live streaming uses your upload bandwidth. Watching Netflix uses your download bandwidth.

You could try the Chicago, IL (69) ingest, but I bet you still experience dropped frames.

To try that ingest, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Stream > scroll all the way down > Stream to custom ingest.

NOTE 👉 This disconnect process will not go back and capture events that were missed. Events are sent over the API only once and if they are missed, they are missed forever. Going forward from once you reconnected by logging back in, Streamlabs should capture events from Twitch.

  1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

  2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

  3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

  4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).

  5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.

  6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. Wouldn't that be a fairly simple update to allow the audio to be picked up? It could be as simple as having an option on xbox co sole discord settings to include the audio. I'm looking to be streaming or just recording a video and I want to pause the recording to step away or something like that and when I come back unpause it and when my recording is done I have one smooth file instead of having to edit the dead air spot out. I know OBS studio has this function but curious is SLOBs does as well

First off I just want to mention that I have never had this issue with multistreaming until now. My stream is skipping frames and is telling me high CPU usage 65%. I’ve tried creating a whole new scene, I’ve reinstalled Streamlabs and even reset all settings. Does anyone else have any ideas?

IF you have a Streamlabs Console subscription, make sure you are logging in at the Streamlabs Console site by clicking the Twitchg button. DO NOT log in with your Streamlabs ID. Yes, I understand your Streamlabs ID is linked to your account which has your Twitch. The Streamlabs Console subscription works best if you log in with your Twitch.

General question I could not find any information on, I set up my paypal (business) linked to my streamlabs account, linked my twitch then went to set up tipping, I updated my tip page URL to use my username, however the page has a random id on it.. e.g. Donate to SL_random_long_hash_here. any way to change that?

hey so a month and a half ago i had been using the dual output feature to stream to tiktok and twitch at the same time. Now i come back to stream again and everytime i go live it is only going live to tiktok and not to twitch. Twitch is able to go live by itself and itso nly whenever i try to stream to both that it doesnt work. I have tdone alot of troubleshooting like signing in and out of twtich and tiktok and reconnecting streamlabs to twitch and nothing has worked

Anybody run into strange offsetting of the x-axis. I have a 4k60 pro and more frequently I've been seeing this offset happen, seemingly at random. I see it both in the preview and output. Restarting streamlabs has fixed it but that's obviously a problem when streaming or recording.

yup when someone follow or subs, twitch dashboard tells you, but doesn't update on streamlabs web dashboard or your streamlabels. Also not sending the alert via stream alert. It shows my last broadcast was 2 months ago, but I been streaming after 2 months.

Someone just refunded a 7 month old donation (paypal) and its the first time I lost the case and I dont know what to do now. Paypal support is useless and I already paid taxes on that donation and now a fee to paypal as well because I “lost” this case. The person lied to paypal that they didnt receive the product and I said to them that I do not sell item and that Im a streamer and am laso protected by streamlabs TOS and linked to it. Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

I would first, in Streamlabs Desktop, log out and then log in with each platform your using, in this case Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, and then try to go live to each platform individually and see how it goes.

If you can go live to each platform individually, then try multistreaming again. If you still have issues, hop over to the VIP Support channel for further assistance.

Hey I just finished recording a video using streamlabs as my gameplay footage, but after pressing the record button to finished editing it didnt stop and just kept loading. So I closed streamlabs and check my file but its only 14 minutes when I recorded for 25min and the audio is all messed up too! Is there anyway to fix this file?

Ok I am loosing my mind here so hopefully someone can help me out. I just finished doing updates to my Stream Deck and Streamlabs Desktop Plugin. Now my entire stream configuration is messed up.
Issues:

  1. I have buttons that would change the icon that would show me on the stream deck what scene was currently active and now it is just a static button
  2. I have 2 microphones in a scene and enable or disable based on the stream. Again the button no longer changes to tell me which is active.
  3. All of my Streamlabs Desktop: Source buttons can no longer determine the source. It just says Unnamed Source.
    This all happened after I updated the plugin. Is this an issue with the plugin update or stream deck. SOMEONE please help as I do not want to have to do complete config again. I have uninstalled and re-installed both Streamlabs and Stream Deck with no fix. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

SO. I am trying to stream on my Xbox with Streamlabs. I go to stream, go to "stream to," and I click Streamlabs. Then, when I click "Go Live" on Xbox, it just closes out the window. Hi, is Streamlabs worth it? It won't even stream to my YT channel. That's free & it worked great until I bought Streamlabs Ultra. I saw in the Known Issues that Stramlabs isn't streaming to YT and it says resolved. It is not resolved & every troubleshooting faq I try is from like a year or 2 or 3 years old.
