Hello! i used to stream awhile back and this is where i usually see live comments. i tried streaming again recently and i dont see comments there no more. instead i see a browser with my page on it.
question. is there a fix to it or they removed it?
Hey everyone! I was wondering if you guys may have any tips on what Encoder software I should run on my MacOS Montery 12.7.6? Its an older Mac but just trying to get the best performance I can out of it! I'm new to streaming and am looking for some pointes on general stream settings!
Only Twitch Chat is active if you're live or not. Platforms like YouTube annd Facebook have a chat that only works when you're live.
That would be x.264 (software, meaning your CPU) or what ever video card you have in that Mac. If you have a hardware encoder, I'd try that as it reduces the load on your CPU.
so yeah. i used to stream on facebook and i would see comments when live. now i dont. and i wanted to put it back coz having another browser open blocks my streamlabs view as im only using 2 monitors.
I do have both the x264 and also the Apple VT H264 Hardware Encoder. I tried the encoder but noticed that the kbps was very inconsistant
Are you streaming to a Gaming Video Creator page? Then you should see chat. You won't get chat if you're streaming to your personal profile or a group page due to the way that Facebook has their API setup.
Yes it is a gaming page. And as i mentioned, i used to see chat on the highlighted area. Anyways. Is there a fix to this one?

i did this just now and re-test stream. and this is what it says.
This means that at you have limited the permission for chat. If the default permission of Public for chat is changed, this can happen.
I don't have enough followers to proceed from here, but make sure your chat is set to Public.
Hey guys! Im new to stream labs and im trying to get signed into my youtube account on it, It goes untill i click accept and it starts provessing, It has been doing this for 10 minutes, Does anyone know a fix?
Quit Streamlabs Desktop and then wait a minute or two. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop by right clicking on the shortcut and choose Run as administrator.

Hi, Im having a issue with my sign in! My email will only connect itself, And not the youtube linked, But i cant stream from my email, I need my youtube to stream obviously anyone know how to fix
So I just noticed that my video quality on stream is still slightly fuzzy. I’m currently running 30fps at 4000kbps. I have roughly a 30mbs upload speed for internet. Any recommendations on how I can clear up my video quality? Thanks!

Make sure your bitrate isn’t exceeding 6000 which is the maximum that Twitch allows.
aaa okay didnt really want to mess with it since i have it high for when i stream for yt is their any work around for it do i have to have both streams at 6000
There isn’t a work around since you can only set one bitrate.

I'm having issues with Stream Labels not updating with new events, and alerts not coming in on my stream. This happened after I gained affiliate, and I've tried disconnecting streamlabs and reconnecting, I've tried logging out and in, I've tried reinstalling stream labels but nothing is working. In OBS everything is also set up correctly but the stream labels application is not updating with any new alerts post affiliate prior it was working fine is there a fix for this?

Why can't I link StreamLapse to my Facebook profile? After selecting the check mark on my profile, I refresh the page and the check mark is automatically removed. I tried broadcasting live on my profile, but it didn't work.
I’ve encountered an issue that occurs with both StreamOBS and OBS during live streaming. There are intermittent disconnections and dropped frames.
However, when using XSplit with the same connection settings, there are no connection issues at all.
If possible, I would like to request an older version of StreamOBS, as this issue only started happening after my most recent update.
Older versions of Streamlabs Desktop are not available. They would auto update to the latest version anyway. If you streaming to Twitch, please run the Twitch Test.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

hello im having issues with my microphone not picking up audio on streamlabs desktop. i didnt change anything in the settings and everything looks correct.. it picks up audio from my camera. ive tried to update it as well as ive updated my microphone, and my mic works well with other programs. can someone please help?
ahhhhhh...good ole windows update messing with audio.... Best thing is to go through your windows system > sound > input and disable ALL the mics that aren't the one you use. Then go back into streamlabs and select the microphone you want, then it should be all good to go. Windows loves to change audio devices for no reason, or reset defaults
My computer has 4 microphones attached to it (webcam, built in, monitor, and my external (one I actually use)). I disable all but my external one so it doesn't pick another one randomly.
i just tried that and it still wont work. but the weird thing is that my microphone works fine with OBS studio

On streamlabs console what you find in that section is all your allowed to use. What I mean by that if I see a theme I like I in the streamlabs theme library I will NOT be able to use it
Correct. Streamlabs Console can only use the themes that are shown on the Streamlabs Console web site.
Hello Discord, I have a problem with a Twitch Live or Streamlabs, I don't really know yet. In fact, when I stop my live, everything stops, but the data from my live continues. For example, my live stops after 3 hours, it will continue being stopped until it reaches 23h,59 min. I want to reach an average of 3 viewers, but with the stats of 24 hours and 0 viewers, since I was not live, this is impossible for me. Please help me.

I want to rip my hair out I've been having this issue for 3 months now. Every single time I save a replay buffer clip, it will over write the previous clip if I save a clip more than once in a day
It is forever loading on edge as well, I also tried to do it on my mobile and same thing.
Are you sure you're selecting the correct account?
It used to just save as "Replay etc" and I could save multiple clips a day. Now it's "REPLAY VIDEO etc" and overwrites itself

Double check the replay buffer filename. Sounds like you changed that to REPLAY VIDEO etc. It should match that of the Recording Filename parameter but add the word 'replay' in it.

@twilit briar That doesn't remove them from your Streamlabs account. You'll need to log into the other accounts with your old Twitch and YouTube and try and unmerge them. If that's successful, then log out and log in the new account and merge the platforms you want. If none of that works, you'll have to put in a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

PayPal Connection: I’ve attempted to connect my PayPal Business account. While the prompt says “PayPal account connected,” the Streamlabs dashboard still shows the “Connect” button. When I try using PayPal Lite, it does connect and displays my email, but viewers still can’t send donations.

Settings > Scene Collection, you can export from there and send the files to your friend. I've never done this by the way so there may be more data than just your overlay.

There's nothing you need to do. From what I understand, it was an issue with the API at PayPal's end.

so a while back I tried a streaming project for Raid Shadow Legends and I haven't been able to remove their damn ad from my stream. Can someone help me please? Also is it true that Twitch Studios is no more? I feel like I've been living under a rock. I had to stop streaming for a while, but now I want to get back to it
If you mean the access revoked for no reason, the staff are working those tickets individually and it’s taking a while to work through them. There has been no update on this and if you’ve not submitted a ticket, you should do so. If you’ve already submitted a ticket, be patient and they will get to you.

Need assistance please. I reset my Twitch password and now streamlabs recent events are not showing subs and resubs. Cheers are listed though. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting accounts. Test subs are going through to OBS studio when testing alerts but the recent event list won't show new subs and resubs. I also tried resetting API token. Thank you for help!

Hello, I’m having Troubles with My Alerts. I Multistream to YouTube Horizontal & Vertical. Only my Horizontal Alerts work, nothing on Vertical. I signed out of Streamlabs, disconnected accounts, signed back in, reset API token, I trouble shooted myself but still no luck… I would appreciate any assistance from anyone who has had or have this issue…
Hi there, For some reason Streamlabs custom alert maker refuses to accept the files I'm uploading for my alerts, either images or audio. I have checked the file sizes and formats. It just says "Invalid File Selected." It does it no matter what I upload, including things I've uploaded before and worked just fine. Any thoughts?

My streamlabs desktop is showing a wierd behaviour. I have a big screen that is split into 2 desktop screens, both are in 3412x1920 resolution. Both have the same text scaling in windows 11. When Streamlabs is on left screen, the preview screen looks normal But i have recently swtiched to play my games on the left screen ,and use the right screen for the app to be on. But for some reason, when i drag it over on that screen, the preview gets super small, and pushed off center and seems all bugged. Like this
oh the other screen its normal like this. But its the same screen its just split into 2 its a neo g9 running picture in picture 50%/50%. Have anyone else had the same issue ? If i set scaling on the right screen to 100% its fine. But then text is super small. The left screen have scaling enabled the same way. And nothing is wrong there
Apologies for the long delay. I remembered it slightly wrong. The file name is taken from the Recording File Name Formatting setting and then prefixed with the Replay Buffer Filename Prefix.
So in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Recording and in the Filename Formatting box, paste this string: %CCYY-%MM-%DD %hh-%mm-%ss
Also make sure that the option Overwrite if file exists is not checkec!
In the Replay Buffer Filename Prefix box, paste this string: Replay
The Replay Buffer Filename Suffix should be left blank.

It tells you, in red, exactly how to format the date. You need to enter it like this: 06/01/2025
So use the slash and not not the period.
Also make sure that Custom HTML/CSS is disabled.

You have been approved for live with Streamlabs access? That’s completely separate from live with TikTok studio access.

I wanted to stream in YouTube at 1080p. My stream is pixelated when moving camera faster. Originally the bitrate was at 5000kbps, I move up to 25000kpbs it improved yet the quality of camera stand still vs the its moving is clearly a big different the video is still blurred. Even at 30000kpbs its still same.
when I look at others streaming its same quality while in idle and camera moving.
I want the stream quality to be same like recording in 1080p.
system - ryzen 5600x, rtx 3060ti
net speed - 200mpbs

I tried logging back in but it ended up making me a new account and when I checked my ulra status I ended up signing up again. Looking for some info as to why I keep getting denied TikTok access. I do not stream anywhere but TikTok, but I do have a Twitch account. On TikTok I usually get a couple hundred viewers throughout a stream, am I getting denied because of lack of streaming on Twitch?

Hello, I’m having Troubles with My Alerts. I Multistream to YouTube Horizontal & Vertical. Only my Horizontal Alerts work, nothing on Vertical. Correct. There’s a known issue where TikTok displays a revoked error even if you’ve been approved and gone live before.
How long will this take to repair?
It depends on how quickly we receive the ticket and then how quickly TikTok can action. It may take a couple days for them to restore access, sadly.

when i try to record in streamlabs, this happens all of a sudden (have tried reinstalling c+, have 134gb free in hd space, have tried restarting everything)
I have some steps for you to try.
Please go through all the Streamlabs settings (click the ⚙️ icon) and screen shot each one or make notes about each setting. The next step will clear the your cache and settings so you'll need those screen shots or notes.
In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Get Support and click the Delete Cache and Restart button. That will clear the aforementioned cache and settings and restart Streamlabs Desktop.
You won't lose your scenes and sources and widget settings.
You might also need to log back in once Streamlabs Desktop restarts.
Let me know how it goes.
Tip, for those settings pages that are long, you can drag the settings window vertically so you can get it all in one screen shot.

Hi all, I'm unable to connect my Streamlabs account to Extra Life via the Integrations. Each time I try to enter the Participant ID, it says "Invalid Participant ID" above the box, but in the top right of the window it says "We are experiencing some technical issues. Please try again."
I've confirmed that the Participant ID is correct. I've tried logging in and out again, nothing has worked so far. Anyone know if there is a current issue or anything else I can try to get them connected?
Well, first, you want to go to the Streamlabs web site, https://streamlabs.com, and log in by clicking the YouTube button, then log in with your YouTube channel. That sets up your Streamlabs account.
Then in Streamlabs Desktop, you want to also log in with that same YouTube channel.
Setup your Scenes and Sources.
For YouTube Shorts: You have to set your Output Resolution (Settings > Video), to the vertical format: (for example) 1080x1920.

Are you using that camera in a video capture source?
Okay, thanks for confirming that!
Delete that video capture source from each scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.
If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

For some reason my streamlabs desktop display is virtical instead of horizontal. I didn't change any settings I don't think and I can't get it back, can someone help me out?
Your Output Resolution is set for the vertical format.
Go to Settings > Video and then at Output Resolution, swap the values.
For example, if it shows 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.
press this button .. the very first left icon .. it switches between vertical and horizontal...

I've done this and it made it horizontal again, but now everything seems zoomed in a lot (It would usually have a 4th character)
Right click on the source, choose Transform, then choose Fit to Screen (or Reset Transformation if you don't want it 'full screen').

Those you’ll just have drag the position you want them.
You can drag them? How do you do that? I've been setting position with the Edit Transform menu this whole time.
Yes, if you left single click on a source, it should show up in the preview window with a green outline with drag handles in each corner.

Hey I posted earlier, don’t wanna spam you guys up but
I was streaming with streamlabs console to Twitch and TikTok both horizontal and worked but after I got it to work I got a “reproduced content” warning on TikTok I couldn’t appeal and also…. I started getting stream stopped working notifications on my xbox and it suddenly stops streaming. It was occurring on Fallout 4 and also having some weird audio issues with the game but that might be a Xbox integration issue, I’m on the Series S(less $) next gen Xbox
Also a little unrelated but is it possible to stream to YouTube/Tiktok instead of Twitch/Tiktok on basic streamlabs console?

If you don't have a PC, there's no way for you to use Streamlabs from your Playstation.
You don't need to worry about moving the Chatbox.

Based on your setup, a PlayStation and not computer with a capture card, there's not a way for you at this time to use Streamlabs.
You're needing to see your Twitch chat when you're streaming.
You can do this with a smart phone (like an iPhone), a tablet (like an iPad), or a laptop or computer (if you have one of those - you said your brother had one but won't let you use it).

Skipped Frames means you're encoder is overloaded. If you're using the x.264 encoder, use Task Manager to make sure you're not maxing out your CPU.
If you have a hardware encoder (Nvidia or AMD), consider switching to that encoder to reduce the load on your CPU.

Adding a custom destination is an Ultra feature.

Moving your chatbox isn't anything that would do what you're needing.
You're streaming from your Playstation directly to Twitch using the builtin Twitch app and can't see your chat.
The Chatbox is for having the stream chat to be shown on stream. It is not for you as the streamer to see the chat.
You need a smart phone, tablet, computer, or a laptop so you can view your chat.
Don't do that then. Ask you're viewers how the stream looks and/or sounds.

Hey guys, I stream daily and didnt change anything to my settings lately. When I logged in today everything is suddenly a very small size.
Is this a know issue or is there an easy way to fix it?
Because right now all I can think of is resizing every source in every scene.
In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video. Does the Base Resolution and Output Resolution look correct?

Hey i need some help, i just launched my streamlabs and its all wacked out... last night i was streaming just fine and everything was good but now when i launch it, without changing anything at all mind you , it stuck in some vertical display mode . i dont know what happened or how to fix i tried to google solve this but it only mentions dual output which i am not using

What happened to** custom output resolution** in the video settings ? it's no longer there from today, I start up streamlabs and all my base res changed from 2560x14440 to 1280x720 & the custom res is gone now. I was streaming at 1664x936

when i click on a link in chat slabs "Freezes' but still runs/streams in the background. i started the application from a batch file however, and that leaves a cmd window open which a bunch of output. could it have sth to do with that?
Also had the weird "everything resized overnight" bug. Fixed that, but now when i try to go live, or even perform a local recording, my webcam is like double speed. And if i go live, my stream just buffers while the camera is like the Benny Hill show. Any ideas please?

i am in need of much needed help i logged out of streamlabs the other day so my daughter could use her fb to log in and go live like i do with my fb page and when i went to log back in its not letting me its not linking to my fb page its jus saying password is wrong even though its correct and i can use that password to log into fb regular on chrome and even if i try to do the password reset the code im sent it says is incorrect but its not i can use my wifes fb log in since shes an admin and it accepts that but will cause an issue bc its from another page instead of the one i use to stream with can anyone hep me get this resolved so i can go live again

It took streamlabs 115 seconds to start.
Never had a problem of this magnitude in 7 years full time streaming with streamlabs.
This is what it did to me tonight. The start is just some clip reel intros, then it goes into my James Bond-esque intro, and then into closeup. As you can see, we're well into the closeup before you even hear the Bond music....and all video is moving at approx 2x speed:

My layouts just got jumbled up across both outputs. I have restarted several times and nothing happens. Everything just got dragged around. All my sources. Cam, gameplay footage.. everything.

yes I had exaclty the same problem as you. I had to re size the vertical output and then the dual output stream did not work for the landscape one. but the vertical works very well

i never actually used streamlabs desktop, i only ran streamlabs obs once in 2019 to benchmark its performance, i can troubleshoot it for others only because it has some feature parity with obs-studio

Would just like to add that I am also experiencing most of what has been mentioned above; FPS settings being changed from 60 to 30 and not sticking when I set them back, bitrate being downgraded, VODs that seem to run at 2x speed and with sound delay/overlap.
The only thing I didn't immediately experience were the sources being resized and all over the place. However I did notice that my output resolution went from 1920x1080 to 1280x720.
I streamed for a short bit earlier with absolutely no issues. Took a break for food and and came back to all the settings being out of whack and nothing I could do to fix it.
basically they software problem - for now only solution its change it to 60 again and 1080p check the stream and not close it till day is over.
I also all the time feel myself like this then Im not using obs and continue to use slobs -🤡

So my issue is this.
My audio is good. It's live, it's current but the visual, what's streaming, is like a minute+ behind. I feel like I've tried everything I can find. I cannot get it to work. I had 2 30 hour streams with a 10 hour break in the middle and the follow day, broken. Any ideas?

I only pay for ultra. I think something happened when they pulled update. I only experience drop frames when it’s something related to updates. I did some test on stream on just twitch no issues

Quick question, I noticed with one of the most recent updates i can no longer set vod ouput to channel 2 and i was obvioulsy using that feature to not have DMCA music in the vods but still be able to play some of it from time to time, but now that feature seems to be gone and i can listen to certain music anymore and i really enjoy using songify so chatters can request some songs if they want but now thats getting me into some muted audio issues. How do i go about fixing this now with the current build.

@hidden scarab you can use obs-studio with the obs-multi-rtmp plugin and send 6 mbps to twitch and as high as you can manage to youtube, up to 51 mbps; i think restream.io also offers paid transcoding, but i don't know the specifics
I believe so , i log into streamlabs with twitch and its the main source of streaming but i dont see any options under output or audio for vod tracks anymore.

Hi everyone,
I recently switched my setup from a 60hz standard monitor to a 120hz HDR monitor. Set all my nVidia settings and game settings to proper HDR settings and limited my games fps at 115, out of which I normally get ~100-110.
Unfortunately now my recordings lag significantly.
In-game everything is super smooth, but when I look at the recorded footage lateron it seems to run at only a few fps.
My Streamlabs is set to record at 60fps, which worked fine before I changed to an HDR setup, but now I get maybe 10% of that...
I would apprechiate any ideas to solve the problem.

Could you forward this as a suggestion possibly? Having the ability to set game topics on console is game changing for engagement. Viewership on TikTok entirely comes from the topics as the algorithm spoon feeds streams into interested people from the game topic setting. ATM it’s set so when you go live on TikTok it’s just your account going live as a general livestream I believe rather than a gaming and possibly gaming-> game you’re playing topic
It could be implemented under the tiktok account section with a dropdown list of the available games and a stream title

Hi, I'm having an issue where tts isn't working. First alerts were working fine and then everything stopped, I refreshed widgets and after that they started working but they show up for like a second and then disappear and no tts plays

Probably not. I’m unsure if the linking works with multiple discord account. They would have to give you their login info (against all streaming sites TOS) for you to try and link.

It is related to the streamlabs plugin and for some reason nothing from streamlabs will show up. Anyone got any ideas?
When I hit retry it comes up with the recent events and the recent events update but it still doesn't show up on the stream.
I tried reinstalling the plugin a couple of times and re-entering the url for the widget but no luck, any ideas?
Oh and I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting my twitch account and turning on 2FA. Those didn't help either

The last several times I have tried to live-stream (especially tonight), StreamLabs OBS has crashed on me. I originally thought my issues stemmed from outdated devices & drivers, or maybe because I had not downloaded & installed the latest version of Windows 11, but the app is still crashing on me, sadly. I used to be able to live-stream with this app with ease, but it's been very difficult lately; even when I have gotten the live-streams to work, the app has been fighting me every step of the way.
Can someone please guide me on how to fix the issue(s) with StreamLabs OBS I am facing? My frustration is unfortunately beginning to boil over; I have hit a wall with my at-home remedies and Google research. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
Side-Note:
Windows 11 keeps trying to default Steam and StreamLabs OBS to 'Efficiency Mode' (according to Task Manager). When SLOBS is set to this mode (not by my choice, mind you), does this affect StreamLabs Desktop's functionality on my side?

I play games on Xbox and use Streamlabs Console to multi-stream to Twitch, Kick, and YouTube simultaneously. Before starting the stream, I enter my desired stream title in the title section on the Xbox stream setup screen. However, this title only appears correctly on Twitch. On YouTube and Kick, the title does not update and the stream starts with either the default or an old title.
Unless I manually update the titles on YouTube and Kick, it seems that Streamlabs Console cannot automatically push the title to those platforms. Is there a way to fix this? Is it possible for the title I enter on the Xbox stream setup screen to automatically update on YouTube and Kick as well?

Streamlabs Console cannot capture Discord audio from the Xbox. It just does not have the capability. And it’s not an Ultra only feature.
so even if i get ultra, and stream directly from xbox to my streamlabs deesktop, it wont work correct?
and lastly, will it change anything if i get a capture card?
Correct.
You would want to run Discord on your computer, then. Streamlabs Desktop is perfectly capable of picking up Discord audio.

No. You can dual output to one horizontal (twitch, kick, ect), and one vertical (TikTok) on the free version.

So I have multi-stream enabled and all chats seem to be coming through, even some TikTok messages.
However, I noticed not all the tiktok messages came through the streamlabs chat. It seems like it was maybe just followers. The others appeared on the tiktok live webpage.

Yeah I was able to log in on my brand account on OBS, but I have nothing set up as far as scenes and stuff like that. And I doubt there's a way to pull stuff off of streamlabs to use there other than importing each individual file. Which sounds tedious

im curious on the video quality as currently streaming to one platform isn't too bad of quality for an ipad imo but i dont know how two platforms at once would be looking like
@drifting patio most streaming platforms are capped at 6 Mbps, kick.com has been reported to disconnect unpopular streamers unless they stream at 3.5 Mbps or below, youtube will reencode whatever you send them so it's preferable to send 1440p or 4K at 51 Mbps (which the streamlabs restreaming service can't do)
Multistreaming works like this: you stream to Streamlabs and then we send the stream along to those channels you have merged in your Streamlabs account and toggled on when you go live.
what about encodering aspect of it, since i assume the ipad would have to encode the stream twice to send to two different platforms, correct or no? I'm trying to get a little jank work stream set up going purely off an ipad alone no pc involved
@drifting patio no, streamlabs' restreaming service forwards the encoded bitstream as-is, which costs virtually no cpu resources to them, and none to you

I play games on Xbox and use Streamlabs Console to multi-stream to Twitch, Kick, and YouTube simultaneously. Before starting the stream, I enter my desired stream title in the title section on the Xbox stream setup screen. However, this title only appears correctly on Twitch. On YouTube and Kick, the title does not update and the stream starts with either the default or an old title.
Unless I manually update the titles on YouTube and Kick, it seems that Streamlabs Console cannot automatically push the title to those platforms. Is there a way to fix this? Is it possible for the title I enter on the Xbox stream setup screen to automatically update on YouTube and Kick as well?
Hi, I have streamlabs, which i pay for, and added the discord integration onto it, but how do i get it to notify my discord server whenever im live on youtube/twitch/tiktok/kick etc, as its not doing it any help would be great 🙂

I figured I'd let you know as well that, I already tried uninstalling & reinstalling Streamlabs. Unfortunately, that didn't solve my problem. All my past settings were retained—probably because the strean settings I declared are affixed to my account.
I know I'll find a solution at some point; I'm just irritated by the app crashing right now. It's funny to me how, two weeks ago, I managed to live-stream Batman: Arkham Asylum without any problems whatsoever, but live-streaming a lower-data game like Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing leads to a crash.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
- This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
- Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.
Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

It’s like when I switch cameras — which probably have different decoding formats — Streamlabs Desktop crashes the stream and interrupts the signal. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Here the icons on the streamlabs website are not loading and the Alert Box is not working, I do the test and the donation image does not appear, only the audio, is the website experiencing some problem?
No issues that I'm aware of; the web site is loading fine for me. Please log out of the Streamlabs web site, clear the cache only in your web browser, completely restart the web browser, and try again. Make sure you are not running a VPN.

And you added the Alert Box Widget as a Browser Source and that Browser Source is at the top of the source list for the scene in which it appears?
Does Streamlabs Desktop itself crash or do the viewers get that message in the video player?
The viewers see black for a few seconds and then everything goes back to normal but a new stream starts (today the stream was divided into 3 parts)
But Streamlabs Desktop stays running?
It continues to work, like tiktok continued to stream without a black screen while Twitch and Youtube went black. A very strange thing.
Does Streamlabs Desktop report Dropped, Skipped, or Lagged Frames?
No zero lost frames, in fact it's the first thing I looked at while the chat told me I was in black screen. By the way it only happens if I switch from the "standard" cams to the wide PTZ camera.
The images are simply not loading, I don't know why, the site looks strange to me, I've already tried clearing the cache, I believe that because the images are not loading, it turns out that the notification image doesn't load either.
Saturday was the last Live he did and everything was normal.
Website images not load should not affect alerts being presented on stream. Did you log out, clear only the cache for all time, completely restart the whole browser, and log back in?

Please launch OBS Studio, go to the scene with the Alert Box, and replay an old donation alert. Do you both see image for the alert in the preview window and hear the sound for the alert?
So, I already have OBS open and I'm testing it with a donation sound, but neither the sound nor the image comes out through OBS. Now, with the same alert link that I use in OBS through the PC browser, only the sound comes out.
Now, with this same donation notification link and opening it on my cell phone, the sound plays and the image comes out perfectly.
And if I leave the site open for a long time, when I try to do the test it gives this error.
Can you copy/paste the text of that as I don't speak that language, or translate it to English?

It started now, my last broadcast was Saturday and everything went perfectly, today Monday I was going to start the Live and I always come to test to see if everything is OK before starting, Then I saw that I had this problem where the StreamLabs website and notifications do not show images.
And you've not changed the image for the Donation alert? Did you add any variations for the Donation alert?
No, I didn't change anything, that's why I find it strange, I've tried other browsers on my PC and it's giving me the same problem.
Please quit OBS Studio, then go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents on the Streamlabs web site, click Live Actions (1st image), scroll all the way down to General Settings, and finally click the Reload Widgets button (2nd image).
Then launch OBS Studio, go to the scene with the Alert Box, then go here back to Recent Events (3rd image), find a previous Donation event and replay that alert. Let me know what happens.

The issue is with YouTube and we're waiting on YouTube. If you already have a YouTube brand account merged and just want to log in, use your Streamlabs ID to log into that account.

Ah, then perhaps you haven't created your Streamlabs ID yet. In that case, that won't help you as you'd have to sign into your account with YouTube first which is of course, still broken. 
I'm having an odd issue. I've checked net speed with other sites and a few speed tests and i get 250 mbs down and 55 mbs up, but when I try to stream I only get an average of 1500 bits though it jumps up and down from there, never higher than 1700 though. is there a throttle or mbs option on the streamlabs website itself I need to change? I have the stream set to 4k bps within streamlabs obs itself.

Why does my screen look like this? When I record it shows my screen but I cannot see it myself on the display. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled, run as administrator, updated drivers, disabling overlay, toggling anti-cheat hook on and off, and so much more. I know it's probably something really simple but I cannot find any answers. Also this isn't just for game capture it's like this for whatever I click on.
I can't log in to my YouTube channel on Streamlabs. I've tried everything I've seen on the internet. I was logging in before, then I logged out and tried to log in again and it just stays on this loading screen. Can someone help me?
Unable to find any discussion of this issue. My desktop audio suddenly stopped working. No sedttings changes were made. I've tried reimporting settings from OBS and have selected every audio device I have, and switched all audio devices to default in windows 11. I'm using an EPOS H3Pro Headset with a USB Dongle. I can hear audio fine but Streamlabs shows no audio is coming through . I've tried removing and readding the sources but no luck. Mic audio is fine it's just desktop not being picked up. Amy help would be appreciated

Looking for some help, i have a random alert noise going on in streamlabs and i've disabled everything and i cant figure out where its coming from.

its not a source its coming from, i removed everything and it was still happening. my mixer is saying its coming from obs64 and i cant see anything on my streamlabs
I'm not sure haha. I was trying to see if the Pretzel music app can be utilized in the same way that the Stream Labs music app worked?
Likely then it may be an app on your local system playing that audio and thus its being played on stream via the Desktop Audio device. Make sure that before you go live, you quit everything except what you need to go live.
It only plays when i have streamlabs open. Keeps happening even after i go live and nothing extra is open

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Notifications, there's a option for a sound notification there. It could be that Streamlabs Desktop is trying to alert you about skipped, lagged, or dropped frames.
no notifications. Looked through that beforehand. Its weird because it just started happening yesterday.
What does it sound like?

Its a jingle and it happens randomly, no set time inbetween
Next thing to check is Chat Notifications in the Chatbox Widget.

I'd also search in Settings for 'Sound' or 'Notifications' and see if there any other settings that might be the source of this.
For aspect ratio on IOS do you only have the options of aspect fit and aspect fill? You can’t resize the capture yourself? When I do aspect fill it cuts off the top half of the game I’m trying to stream on the iPad; and aspect fit creates two black bars on both size but obviously can see whole game. I assume IOS is limited in screen capture size or something ? No pc involved in this set up

Thank you! First, I want to have you try creating a new scene collection. This should be able to help us narrow down the issue a bit further by using limited sources.
This may be easier to do while offline. To create a new scene collection, go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Scene Collections > Create Scene Collection. This will put you into an empty collection, then you can add the few necessary sources before going live. I'd recommend leaving out any browser sources when testing.
Are you able to let us know if the issue persists in the new collection? If the issue is fixed in the new collection, it's likely just a caching issue, and I can send you some other steps to resolve that.

@marsh stratus Here are a couple of steps you can try (while offline):
Re-install Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. To do this, go to Streamlabs.com and begin the download of Streamlabs Desktop. (No need to uninstall beforehand) Once the installer is ready, right-click the installer > select "show in folder". From the folder, right-click the installer and select "run as administrator".
**Clear your Streamlabs Desktop browser cache **
-Close Streamlabs Desktop
-Hit the Windows key + R
-Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
-Delete the cache folder
-Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator (to do this, right-click Streamlabs Desktop > select "run as administrator")
The last ditch effort would be a full Streamlabs Desktop cache clear which is more of a full reset. And you can clear your full cache in your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Get Support.

Okay, cleared cache and re-installed as administrator.
Before doing these steps, you may want to go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings and take screenshot of your settings (bitrate, video, etc.) in case you think you'll need to remember those to set back up later. Clearing your cache will completely reset those global settings, so that's just something to keep in mind. I'd like to have you try these steps next:
- Copy: "%appdata% " then Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then Press Enter
- This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see " slobs-client "
- Rename it to " _slobs-client "
- Restart Streamlabs Desktop as Administrator when launching
Be sure you only have your game capture source, your webcam source, and your mic source on the new scene so we can continue to rule out those other sources, as well.
So i followed these steps and it still has all my old sources and scenes. Was it supposed to clear it all?
Good question! The scenes/sources are backed up to the cloud, so it is intended for them to populate. You can continue using the limited-source scene you already created, or if you want to start fresh fresh, you can open another new collection and go from there!

Usually when I stream to YouTube, I get no dropped frames at all. Today though, I got about 3-4% dropped frames?
The Streamlabs Plugin for OBS Studio is only available for Windows. Sorry about that!
