Ok, I have that working, but now, why can I NOT control SLOBS with the Stream Deck? There are no options from the plu-in to conrol scenes or sources, etc.
They need a new video for mobile because the app is updated and looks different compared to the video
Maybe you need to reduce the settings on the game itself as you PC cant cope with both streaming and that partuicular game.

What do you mean? The category is pulled directly from the streaming platform. Also if it doesnt appear when you set it on Streamlabs Desktop, you can go into your dashboard on the streaming platform website and update it.
I tried the graphics on ultra low and the fps is at 40 and it still hangs.
Try to change the Preset on the same page you changed the enconder to a P3 maybe. Also make sure you have the GPU drivers up to date.
on the multi pass make it single pass too

After you have done the Twitch part, log back in and make sure to accept the new connection and give it another go.

Usually you dont. But if you continue to have this issue you can send in a ticket so the team can have a look.

I believe that is a PC issue, but please send in a ticket with a Diagnostic Report so the team can advise you better.
that is weird. have you log back in into your Streamlabs desktop? Are you using a Streamlabs ID or you log in with your Twitch ID?
Yesterday I took the PC from the technician and he said that I should change the RAM from 32MB to 128MB, nothing else was found to be the problem.
Can you please create a Streamlabs ID and link your twitch to it and then redo all the process once again? I know it is a pain but we flying blind here.

@ember verge in obs-studio, this happens because obs-studio tries to reconnect too soon in the event of a fatal network connection issue, it's been fixed in update 31.0.3; in previous affected obs-studio versions, the workaround is to set reconnection delay to 15 seconds in settings>advanced, try that in streamlabs desktop

I've got this issue too, it worked fine on tuesday but since then it's not working at all

streamlabs does something weird to undo any CSS edits you try to make through the "custom css" field in obs-studio's browser source, you have to use their own CSS editor on the website; in addition to that, the javascript text animator may undo your changes due to the effects it applies

After hitting go live when streaming to kick, 2/3 checkmarks load in the prompt then the window closes and I get a blank error box and the live does not start. Any fixes?

Has anyone had any issues with donos? My donos were working find and then in the middle of stream everyone was getting a 7001 error. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I’m experiencing a noob problem. I usually don’t stream because I have no reason to but I promised a friend of mine a long time ago that I’d stream TCOAAL chapter 3 when it came out, and I have largely been trying to teach myself how to stream after it’s release to fulfill that promise.
One thing however that I don’t understand is this. I just can’t get it to fit the screen(I do not have any fancy setup, I have a single old Gateway monitor, a gaming mouse and a keyboard for reference, this is as much of a makeshift setup as possible)
Likely your Output Resolution is set for a vertical format.
Go to Settings > Video.
Does the Output Resolution look like (for example) 1080x1920?
If yes, set it for 1920x1080. Or whatever resolution you want the stream to be. For 720p, you'd put in 12880x720.
Also, the Base Resolution should be set to the same resolution of your monitor.
If you have to adjust the Base Resolution, be sure to select your capture source, right click on it, choose Transform, and then choose Fit to Screen.

Hey I just updated SLOBS is the 1.18.3 patch and my bluetooth headphones in Stereo now suddenly don't work when I have the program open. All the solutions I could find online were no help. Using the Headset sound isn't really an option for me as I do a lot of stuff w/ music and I need the higher sound quality, I can't use a usb dongle because I don't have one and my computer has too many things plugged into it already either way, and my stream set up is based on me being able to move around freely w/o a wired headset since I have been doing that just fine for years now.
Does anyone know a way to fix this or at least be able to rollback the program to a version where the bluetooth stereo does work w/ the program?

I’m about to start streaming again. I have a dual pc setup and my stream pc is a ryzen7 2700x with a 2080. When I was streaming before my stream would go blurry and pixelated every once in a while. I have 1 gig download/upload. Hardwired in. Is there a way to test this to get it a constant good resolution? I was using 6k bitrate, 60 fps, 2 keyframe and quality preset. I’ve messed with the quality preset going up and down but still got pixelated randomly. I’ve also streamed in 1080p and downscaled to 936 before too. I’m affiliated on Twitch not partner. But I see a lot of people not partner running 1080p with great constant resolution

@lime path for streaming to youtube, stream at native 4k if possible; for most other streaming platforms, stream at 1080p or 720p at 60 or 30 fps, lower resolutions and frame rates will have fewer blocking artifacts;
filters are subjective, i don't like lanczos since it tends to cause ringing artifacts

yes, I click on it, open my logo as a png (it's only 87kb), upload but it doesn't display
Ah, logo and not profile picture. I'm not sure why that is happening but I'd try this:
- Log out of the Link Space web site.
- Clear, for all time, the cache in your web browser.
- Completely restart the web browser; don't just open a new tab or window.
- Try again to update your logo image.
If it still doesn't display, try again with a different web browser. I'm not aware of any limit or specifications required for the logo image.

Screen capturing my League of Legends / Teamfight Tactics game is crashing the game
(Also game capture doesnt work anymore)
For League of Legends, we advise the following setup.
Client & Pre-game lobby should utilize a Window capture source https://i.imgur.com/poIYSr8.png
Make sure the League Client window is selected in the Properties of the Capture Source.
In-game should utilize a Game Capture source https://i.imgur.com/CFvruTn.jpeg
Finally, I would also suggest running League of Legends in Borderless Windowed Mode.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
- This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
- Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.
Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

No they don’t
That would be performed in the software for your web cam. Streamlabs Desktop doesn't have that feature.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
- Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
- Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
- Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

So bit of a weird one, I'm trying to stream FoundryVTT utilizing the browser source, since that lets me not have to fiddle with a bunch of web pages on my computer. It's working well with the exception of for whatever reason, Streamlabs is changing all of the fonts, the fonts work on other browser and devices so it's something up with streamlabs specifically..

NEED HELP!! When I go to stream for some reason my bitrate bounces between 100-500 and causes frame drops, last week when I would stream this issue wasn't there. It cant be my internet because I have 900+ download and upload speed. I also never changed any of my settings. Anyone know how to fix this?

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

My Streamlabs is being a lot more laggy. Takes a while to switch scenes, webcam is loading in a low slower, and pulling up webcam settings takes like 10 seconds.

You're going to need to reach out to your ISP.
Tell them you're trying to live stream to Twitch and are getting upload bandwith issues. Be patient sometimes the call screener will hear stream and think you're trying to watch Netflix.
Basically there's an issue in the network path from you to the Twitch ingests. Could be your ISP is blocking that. No way for us to tell.

anyone know how i can increase the Font weight of the alert messages themselves? as in the message that is written by the viewer. because for some reason im only able to change the weight on the default bits section and not for the variations
in the variations the bits message font weight is unchangeable making the text suuuper thin
Most alerts should have the Font Settings section. You might need to open it.
it changes the main text, the one that says this dude cheered however much. but in the variations the text underneath the aforementioned part remains thin
Variations have their own Font Settings section too.

Can you try the steps below to see if they help?
First, please delete your game capture and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: unknown.png).
Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted.
Go ahead and delete the folder.
Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator.
Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Due to compatibility issues with certain anti-cheat systems, Game Capture source may not work with some games, including Valorant.
As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead
Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode
Add a new Window Capture source
Select your game from the window list
Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"

a/v drift is already the top 1 most difficult issue in my book, and you're also using a laptop, and you're also using streamlabs desktop; i give up, but set the power-saving plan to "high performance" and don't close the lid, reboot if you ever closed the lid, that'll prevent at least some of the possible sources of a/v desync
yesterday it worked fine and now today whenever i open the app my microphone and headset stopped hearing sounds and talking even though in the app the mixer is picking up both audios
and then when i close the app my headset and microphone work perfectly fine
i dont know if my capture card is disrupting the audio or not but its been fne
So for some reason streamlabs would not allow me to connect to twith on my pc like it did on my labtop, so I had to uninstall the app itself and reinstalled to see if that fixes it

Good morning all, when using streamlabs console and using the chat widget to apply to my scenes, does that overlay apply to YouTube and Twitch? Or just Twitch? I was watching my steeam from an alt account on YT and was getting comments but didn't see them flow on the YT stream though. Any thoughts?

is there not a way to start the replay buffer automatically on startup? i see that obs supports --startreplaybuffer but it doesnt seem to work on streamlabs

I still can't get SLOBS to play audio for me.
I've had SLOBS use this headset and channel for years now. Suddenly the other week, it just stopped working. The alt channel works but the sound quality is extremely bad. I need this for recording with friends. OBS shows it's picking up the audio but anytime it's opened, my headphones are muted for me.
I've tried changing channels, rebooting, re-pairing my headphones (bluetooth). I've even reinstalled OBS. I can't find much online to help.
I'm at a loss for what to do. I really can't use the garbage sound output and I don't have other headphones. It was working fine for literal years and now it just isn't.

I'm not sure if i 100% understand your issue but maybe it's an exclusive control issue.
Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". i would delete the label > log out of the plugin > log back in with twitch and not their id thing > re-add the label
then see if it's correctly updated and if it updates again

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.
Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.
If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.
If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.
Basically I have a Mac, Logic, Forcite(mic) & Meld and I need them to work together.
I've tried but I'm being tripped up by my Mac's system settings(Medi), Logic audio preferences as well as Meld's audio preferences. I cannot get all these things to sing together.

when i go live with Kick it keep kicking me out of stream and saying reconnecting
Your Output Resolution is set for the vertical format.
Go to Settings > Video and then at Output Resolution, swap the values.
For example, if it shows 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.
So after the last Streamlabs update my stream has been going offline randomly throughout my streams. I'll get anywhere from 10-60+ minutes live and itll just go offline for a second. This is not a network issue or a pc spec issue any ideas, all drivers are up to date, internet connection is stable, all cords are plugged in correctly, I've reinstalled streamlabs twice.

I have learned that this is in fact possible and have come to spread the wisdom. It can be achieved by creating a separate widget theme for your Twitch and YouTube chat, then on your widget themes page, clicking the chain on the theme and getting the individual chatbox links
I learned this after spending several hours trying to get the css between streamlabs and streamelements source chats to look and behave the same, ranting to a friend about it, and they suggested I try messing with themes
It took like 5 clicks

Hey everyone. My streams starting dropping frames out of complete nowhere and now I cannot stream anything. I have very fast internet and a high powered gaming laptop so I'm very confused on why It started happening. Ive messed with a lot of settings but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions/what could be a common cause for something like this?

at this point I don't want to delay streaming any longer, I've used this chat, and 2 separate tickets days apart to try to resolve an issue but it seems y
y'all are more interested promoting ultra to get support honestly expected better, streamlabs is a great platform but when tickets don't get responses and regardless of my small following this is my only income atm its frustrating to constantly deal with a bug that solely exists with streamlabs.

I'll be honest I do truly find streamlabs to be user friendly but with it being so simple I'd expect there to be some sort of actual support website or chatbot I can at least attempt to problem solve with, again without having to pay for a subscription. I'll rest my case there

Did Streamlabs make changes to tipping lately? People have complained of errors and I've noticed that multiple tips aren't coming through PayPal with the name of the supporter or e-mail so all my automations have crapped out. AND, also noticed that in Platform ID they all have our name where they used to all be the supporters name?

I've used the Streamlabs chatbot about 5 years ago, I just found the web page where viewers could click to spend their currency on perks.
But I'm not finding anywhere to edit them, add new ones or remove them.

Sounds like you're talking about the Cloudbot Loyalty Store. That's a feature of Cloudbot and can't be used in Chatbot.

OH! That's the third Loyalty system, the Streamlabs Extension for Twitch (https://dashboard.twitch.tv/extensions/zfh2irvx2jb4s60f02jq0ajm8vwgka-1.1.3). That is administered via the Streamlabs web site (not under Cloudbot) ( https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/loyalty ) and is only available on Twitch.
That's going to have to come from the developers and if they had an update, it would have been posted to your ticket. The developers aren't in discord and thus can't respond directly here.

It's not there. You have to go Extensions on the Twitch web site. Then go to My Extensions. Then click the ⚙️ icon on the Streamlabs Extension (first image) and then finally click Dashboard (second image).

What did you click to get that?
I clicked on join server there, then opened webpage, then took me to discord, selected server, selected permissions, pressed to confirm, "Are you a human" verification, then I got that error
I think this worked like 4 or 5 years ago, I think it basically would announce when I went live and stuff like that
Enabling developer mode on discord (which you should have already done if you're a moderator literally anywhere)
Right clicking on the person you want to link
Copying their user ID
Going into the bot and finding the user in the user tab
Pasting that discord ID into the respective "discord id" field
If that doesn't work, join the Chatbot Discord: https://discord.gg/xFcsxft The other Volunteers there are much more knowledgeable about Chatbot than I am.

Let's check a few settings.
At Settings > Output > Recording, is the Recording Path a valid path and can you create files in that folder?
At Settings > Advanced > Video, is the Color Format set to NV12, the YUV Color Space set to Rec. 709, and the YUV Color Range set to Limited?
At Settings > Advanced > Recording, is the Filename Formatting set to %CCYY-%MM-%DD %hh-%mm-%ss?
Back at Settings > Output > Replay Buffer, is the Replay Buffer enabled? If so, disable it.
One customer was able to resolve this by emptying the contents of their Windows temp folder.
What’s your issue? Note that anything involving money, 2FA, or certain account issues have to be handled via a ticket.
all settings are correct and disable the replay buffer and empty my temp folder and still the same 😦
Create a new Scene Collection and see if the issue persists in the new Scene Collection.

Delete that video capture source from each scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.
If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.
If you have Ultra, follow what I posted above.

so right now I am using restream just to connect to YouTube but the other platfroms I use streamlabs mutlistreaming and now YouTube works sense I am using restream for that platform

If you’re not logged in Streamlabs Desktop with your YouTube, then I’d at least suggest you log out and Lon in with your YouTube. That will update the OAuth token.

when I do the game capture or screen capture, it will not allow me to go back into valorant. Ive tryied windowing the client and everything .

is there a support for crossclip? i just purchased 1yr subscription and it's stuck on loading screen. says something like "your clip is importing which can take up to 60 seconds, please wait.."
Due to compatibility issues with certain anti-cheat systems, Game Capture source may not work with some games, including Valorant.
As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead
Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode
Add a new Window Capture source
Select your game from the window list
Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"

Hey so I'm trying to set up my chat but it's not letting me resize it in just one direction. I want to make the chat box taller, so it shows more messages - However, it's only letting me cut it (which just doesn't show the whole messages content anymore). I just want to keep it the same width with more height so more messages can fit.

Yes but it always just stretches it
It doesn't make it only taller. Back in the day when I used to stream you could just increase the size in any direction to make it fit more messages but now I somehow can't do that anymore
@winter monolith i'm not familiar with this specific feature, you can add the chat box widget as a browser source and change its dimensions in the browser source properties

I guess I'm curious too, I have a 1440p monitor now (haven't had that before) so would the base be set to what my monitor is running?
Bitrate is not tied to a specific resolution setting. Is just the amount of bandwidth that can be used.
Base Resolution should be the resolution your monitor is set. Output Resolution is the resolution you want the stream to be.

Q: im looking to go back to obs as its game capture hook works for a game i want ot stream, how can i do one of the below:
A) Use the hooks that work in C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook

@fathom scaffold streamlabs desktop don't permit downgrades, run obs-studio, go to scene collection > import, it should autodetect streamlabs desktop's scene collection

we are streamingg to twitch at 6000 target bitrate
@toxic nova run twitchtest, paste your stream key, set test duration to 30s, then if there's an ingest server with 100 "quality", go to settings>stream and manually select it there
hey im An Streamlab Ultra member for multistreaming, but the youtube quality is still bad even though it says 1080p it is NOT 1080p, Also when people donate the alert will NOT pop up on stream but it plays the audio and text of speech iv looked everywhere and asked so many streamers and no one knows the solution does anyone here know
@digital stirrup "1080p" is resolution, not quality; if you want higher quality, stream at 1440p or 4K, at 51 Mbps or 80% of your upload speed, whichever is lower
streamlabs' multistreaming service only forwards the live video as is, it doesn't do any reencoding; if you want to serve 51 Mbps to youtube and 6 Mbps to another streaming service, you'll need obs-studio with any of the 4 multi-streaming plugins
they all came back as 0 quality
@toxic nova call your isp, say you're trying to livestream to twitch and your upload speed drops, you can demonstrate by running twitchtest again with test duration set to "long"

Hey guys, I'm trying to stream with ps5. i successfully streamed this morning with no problem but now im having issues.
i have video from my capture caerd but no mic audio. If i add a mic source from capture card its just game play. if i add a mic a default im getting an echo. im getting really frusteraded and any help would be awesome

Issue with Application Audio Capture (Discord) Not Working Properly

I'm experiencing an issue with Streamlabs when trying to capture audio from a specific application — in this case, Discord — using the Application Audio Capture source.
The problem occurs when I launch Streamlabs:
The source that is supposed to capture Discord audio does not detect any sound.
To try to fix it, I remove the source and add it again. Sometimes this works, but other times it doesn’t.
In several cases, the only solution has been to fully close and restart Streamlabs.
This makes Discord audio capture somewhat unreliable and it affects my live streams.

New to Streamlabs Desktop and multistreaming. As an Ultra User, finding it an excellent program to use now I am understanding it's features more.
I do have 2 audio related issues, which I really appreciate any help and advice on. (Apologies for message length)
I am a Win11 PC User using Elgato Wave 3 mic with Wave Link software which I have set inputs only for the microphone.
I have set all 6 audio tracks active for post live stream editing in Davinci Resolve and assigned audio inputs to separate tracks (all also to streaming track 1) in the settings.
I am only streaming Flight Sim 2020 and DCS , so have setup separate scenes for each, with 'relevant' audio sources for each.
Without overloading this message, my first issue is I am getting ear splitting feedback through monitor headphones when talking into mic (using only +6db gain). I've checked the audio mixer and can't see an issue, but clearly I'm doing something blatantly wrong. Appreciate any advice. (Also the mic audio is terrible despite noise filters etc, but that's a separate issue right now!!)
My 2nd issue is a real head scratcher for me!! I use Say Intentions AI ATC and have included the program as a source input into the audio mixer. I have made all 6 audio tracks active in the settings and assigned this as a seperate recording track. This programs runs as a push to talk service, so I'm thinking that as all audio is streamed on Track 1, when I push to talk, my voice will feed to Track 1 from my Elgato Wave Mic and the Say Intentions program, which could give undesirable results in the live stream.
Appreciate any advice and help, sorry again for lengthly message.

I’ve been experiencing consistent FPS drops while streaming on Twitch using Streamlabs, even after trying all recommended settings I found online. Initially, I suspected hardware limitations, so I upgraded to a high-end setup with an i9-14900K and RTX 5080 GPU, but the issue persists.
Interestingly, when I stream to YouTube under the same settings, the FPS remains stable without any drops. This makes me think the problem might be Twitch-related (server/encoder settings?).
Note: My streaming settings are set to just 1080p at 60fps (no upscaling or extreme bitrates), so the hardware should easily handle it.
Has anyone encountered this or know potential fixes?

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

There's no way to make a new line with Cloudbot. You can make the command display the following URL which is a links your Cloudbot page which has a listing of all your commands: <https://streamlabs.com/[username]/cloudbot> where [username] is your Streamlabs username.

Remove the integration on the Streamlabs web site and log out of the Streamlabs web site.
Log out in Discord.
Restart Discord and log back in.
Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log back in and perform the link discord steps again.

Since there's no manual reordering, should I delete and re-add the variations from highest to lowest so that Streamlabs triggers the correct one?

You can only add, edit or remove commands via chat if you're a moderator. You can't change the permissions on those commands; only the streamer can do that.

I have the same issues except for me the toggle to turn cloudbot back on doesn't work and it says to mod streamlabs but streamlabs is already a mod, I cant find any info on this other than "turn it back on" which I cannot do for some reason. Ive tried unmodding and remodding. I cant think of anything else

Log out of your Streamlabs account by clicking your profile picture and choose Lot out. Then clear the cache for all time in your web browser, completely restart the whole web browser, log back in, and try again.

Hey everyone. Sorry to waste time! I have been troubleshoting on my own for 2 days now and I am struggling. When I go live on SLOBS, it says I am live but I'm not actually live on twitch. I have done all the self help through the website, changed the stream key, restarted my router and PC. I have no idea why it is not working. My SLOBS updated a few days ago and maybe that's it? Any help would be truly appreciated 🙂
Make sure your bitrate isn't over 6000, which is the maximum that Twitch will allow.

And now I see the dropped frames notification there. Could be there is an issue between your and the Twitch ingest.
Please run the Twitch Test, see the next post. Select Medium or Long duration and choose all the ingests in your region; don't just pick the ingest closest to you. Screen shot the results. Note that I'm leaving work for the day and will be in traffic for at least an hour so I won't be able to respond for a while.

@cunning aspen streamlabs desktop comes with the obs-ndi plugin which will become available if you install the ndi/distroav runtime, you can't install any third-party plugins into streamlabs desktop manually
(also, both ndi/distroav and teleport are lossy; if you want to improve quality and/or performance compared to a 1-pc setup, these won't help you)

Well.. you know.. OBS doesnt have alwerts, or the online backup.. Ive used it in the past.. the ease of use is always good. BUT Ive heard in the past SLOBS is a resource hog and back then I had a potatoe of a PC! Now its a little different
@cunning aspen all alert services can be used in obs-studio using browser sources, the only difference with streamlabs desktop in this regard is you get a number of shortcuts for streamlabs' services, but it's a one-time setup anyways

this still holds true, a minimal setup (1x display capture, 2x audio captures, hardware encoding, 1080p60) uses about 166% more cpu cycles compared to obs-studio
Good news... I wouldbe using a dual PC setup...
If the NDI plugin is = too teleport. I just dont know these things anymore! GETTING OLD! haha
i would advise against this kind of 2-pc setup, it's a net negative for both performance and quality, unless you're running some heavy software on the 2nd pc (like vtuber software or nvidia broadcast)
@marble wind @gritty isle thank you for your help. I actually tried streaming through OBS and the same issue is happening. It's something to do with my internet or my connection to twitch.

There is an issue in the network path between you and the Twitch ingest. Could be some routing change at your ISP. Could be a faulty cable modem. Call your ISP.

You can try but realize it may not help. I would shut down your computer, pull the power cable from the cable modem, leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, plug the power cable back in, wait for the cable modem to come fully up, boot up your PC, and finally run the Twitch test again. If the quality scores are still zero, call your ISP.
They should have staff now even if they wouldn’t be able to roll a truck to you right now.
@surreal bobcat keep calling your isp until they solve this, no one else can, call again during business hours if you don't get a response today

Sorry about that. Moderation during the recent discord promotion and other large events that draw lots of people here has shown that the slow mode is effective. Again, that’s not up to me.
Otherwise it’s like trading Ninja’s Twitch chat back into day. Super speeding scrolling and you can’t read anything.
Not conducive for technical support where sometimes you have to assist non technical customers.

Please follow these steps:
Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube will resolve this.
NOTE 👉 This disconnect process will not go back and capture events that were missed. Events are sent over the API only once and if they are missed, they are missed forever. Going forward from once you reconnected by logging back in, Streamlabs should capture events from Twitch.

Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.

If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.

Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).

Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your YouTube. This re-establishes the connection.

👉 IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button. PLEASE Don't skip this step!

Log back in to all the other Streamlabs products you use.
It's not obvious when you log in, but one of the interstitials will say something like Streamlabs has access to x of 6 service. Click there and make sure that all 6 of the boxes are checked and then proceed through the rest of the log in process.

I have some steps for you to try. Please go through all the Streamlabs settings (click the ⚙️ icon) and screen shot each one or make notes about each setting. The next step will clear the your cache and settings so you'll need those screen shots or notes.
In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Get Support and click the Delete Cache and Restart button. That will clear the aforementioned cache and settings and restart Streamlabs Desktop.
You won't lose your scenes and sources and widget settings.
You might also need to log back in once Streamlabs Desktop restarts.
Let me know how it goes.
Tip, for those settings pages that are long, you can drag the settings window vertically so you can get it all in one screen shot.
