Hello good sires, I'd like to ask if it's possible to multistream without premium? or if you could then provide me with another streaming software that does it for free, but probably not since this is a Streamblabs discord server.
You can use Dual Output to stream to one platform horizontally and to TikTok vertically. Any other combination without TikTok or more than two platforms requires a Streamlabs Ultra subscription.
What if I planned to stream on YouTube and Twitch at the same time, How'd I do that?
That would require a Streamlabs Ultra subscription.

Hi there. I ended up using old way for alerts through widget because streamlabs alert box is not sending audio to my desktop. The weird thing is that it sounds when I preview it on website but when trying it out without website, just through event test it shows the alert but it does not play the sound
Stream disconnecting and reconnecting indicate there may be an issue the packets take from your cable modem to the Twitch ingest. Let's run the Twitch Test to verify that path.
Reboot your PC, don't start any software that would upload.
Download and setup the Twitch Test (see next post).
Select all the ingests in your region, for example don't only select the one you're closest to. For Duration, choose Medium or Long. Short Duration sounds like a time save, but it produces inconsistent results and you'll have to run the test again.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

If you mean streaming straight from your PS5, no.

It's not done via stream key. Once approved, in Streamlabs Desktop, you would log out and log in with your TikTok.

You have to wait until your access is approved. The stream key method of streaming to TikTok with Streamlabs Desktop is no longer functional.
@gritty isle im running my stream with OBS. But what it does not make sense to me is that i can hear alert sounds through streamlabs website but when the alert goes to obs it does not play any sound at all. I dont stream through streamlabs app.

Go to your Recent Events page https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents on the Streamlabs web site and check here to make sure that your alerts are not muted.
If that icon is red speaker with a slash, your alerts are muted. Click it to umute them.
Another thing to check is to make sure your Master Alert Volume is not too low, or zero.

With Dual Output, your computer is actually sending out two streams, one to Twitch and one to TikTok. It could be your 'saturating' or overloading your upload bandwidth.
Twitch will only accept a bitrate of up to 6000.

I'd run a bunch of speed test and see if the upload bandwidth is consistent and doesn't fluctuate greatly.

This won't fix the problem, it's more of a troubleshooting step.
- Shut down your computer.
- Pull the power cord from the back of the cable modem.
- Leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes.
- Plug the power cord back into the cable modem.
- Let the cable modem come fully up.
- Boot your computer and see how it goes.

I donât believe that is possible. Streamlabs has no way of knowing what language somebody speaks.

Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.
If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.
If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

Due to compatibility issues with certain anti-cheat systems, Game Capture source may not work with some games, including Valorant.
đ As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead!
To do that, follow these steps:
- Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
- Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode
- Add a new Window Capture source
- Select your game from the window list
- Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"

I have a Yeti mic that I use, which sounds great.
I also have a "studio" mic for people that aren't me who are on the stream (separate camera). They use a dynamic mic connected to a Yamaha mixer with phantom power so it goes to YouTube. But their volume is also soo low. I have no idea how to get it louder. The mixer is pushed all the way up and their volume is still low. It's an XLR cable.
Do I need to do something different?
Maybe get a different mic to connect to the mixer?

My twitch chat is still unable to connect after logging out and waiting a couple minutes
Strange. One or either of those always resolve that.
Do the log out and log in step again but while you mare logged out, reset your stream key on Twitch, then log back in.
streams labs alerts arent working on obs, i tried the plugin and everything but they dont show. When i test they show on the browser and not on the obs

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.
Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

Hi, Iâm having issues with my microphone on Streamlabs. Itâs barely working, and the software doesnât seem to detect it properly, even though all my settings are correct. The sound is also very buggy. Iâve tested my mic on other platforms, and it works perfectly. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.
You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.
Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.
If you have a Streamlabs Console subscription, please make sure you are logging in at the Streamlabs Console web site with your Twitch and not your Streamlabs ID.

That should not have happened. I would log in at the Stream labs web site with your Twitch https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and try and merge your TikTok. If that doesnât work, please let me know.

Hello, I have a problem with streaming a game like Valorant. When capturing the game screen, it freezes. This is probably due to the VanGuard system anti-cheat. This system probably recognizes streamlabs as a threat or cheat. Is it possible to somehow get an older version of the program or fix the problem with the anti-cheat?

When you put a video as an intro, the host is muted and when it is muted the guest can hear it, but the audio is not heard.

The guests of the stream are muted and when they are muted again they can no longer be heard. And they have to exit and re-enter the call for it to be heard.
I would ask that it be resolved as soon as possible since we have paid a large amount

Hi, I am missing picture on my download please can someone help?
I changed the output settings to be at 25fps but when I have downloaded the stream the audio is playing back in realtime and full length but the picture is coming out at slomo and missing footage??

You won't be able to change the recording itself. You'd have to set the FPS to 30 and then make the recording again.

You would have to first log into the Streamlabs account where that Twitch is merged with your Streamlabs ID and unmerge it in order to merge it elsewhere.
I am a gaming streamer on TikTok. I've been consistently streaming for months using a stream key without violating any policies. Recently, my access to stream via a stream key/STREAMLABS platform was revoked, but I can still go live from my phone. I believe this may be an error in the system, as I have followed all community guidelines.
You would have to reach out to TikTok on that. TikTok alone approves or revokes access to Live with Streamlabs.
Live via TikTok Studio is a seperate permission.
Streamlabs has no input or view into why TikTok makes their decisions.

You would have to log in with your Twitch first, then create your Streamlabs ID if you haven't already: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-set-up-your-streamlabs-id.
Then log out and log in with that Streamlabs ID. Then you should be able to unmerge your Twitch.
Then log in with the Streamlabs ID for the other Streamlabs account where you want it merged.
So, for this process, you would need two different email addresses to use for the Streamlabs ID's.

Hey there! If you are live on your channel as intended, but the notification from YouTube isn't being pushed out to users, that will be something YouTube Support will need to investigate. That "live" notification should go off by default, regardless of the tool you are using to go live.

I've started trying to use Streamlabs consistently and I'm running into the background removal issue that it seems many others run into, but cannot find a good solution or answer.
Nvidia Broadcast eats up my GPU and the video lags up anytime I play a game. I have an AMD CPU and Nvidia card (3080 Ti). I've tried setting the PCI BIOS settings to GEN 3 but it didn't help.
Is there another solution? I feel like I've installed an OBS filter but it doesn't show up in Streamlabs.

I'm trying to record high quality videos of fortnite through streamlabs obs. In Streamlabs Desktop, click the down arrow next to the Scene Collection Name (see the red circle below). From there, click Manage Scene Collections, and from there you can create new Scene Collections.
yeah. that's what scene collections are for. so that way when you decide to go live with different stuff you can easily swap to it
i added a tab, sounds to the editor (not nowing what i was doing ) what does that tab do .. when i click i ti i see all the scenes and images for a presentation i have set up

Are you using Twitch VOD track?
"Smoke loop" is the media file source and it is at the top of the list I think I have it correctly layered but im not positive
i dont even know what that is, i just stream through streamlabs then directly upload from twitch online to youtube
I see you have the source selected but I don't see it in the preview window. Please go into the Layout Editor and if you have the Stream Preview, swap it out for the Editor Display.
Also, hover over that Media Source in the Source Selector and make sure it is not hidden (the eyeball đïž show not be crossed out).
Even if the source were at the bottom, it should still show behind the social media icons

Okay, thanks. I see you have the Twitch VOD Track option enabled. I would go to the Mixer, and make sure that every audio source in every scene has track 2 selected. If you want to exclude a particular audio from the VOD, leave track 2 unchecked for that particular source.
If you're not splitting your audio, I would just uncheck Twitch VOD track.

Since you're not splitting your audio, please uncheck Twitch VOD Track and save your settings.

Does the media file have only video, only audio, or has both video and audio?
If I did split audio I would have to change these to 2 since twitch vod was at 2
it is video only. I exported from splice (tried from imovie as well) and i have muted the audio within that program.

Honestly, I'm not good a troubleshooting that. Are you splitting your audio (to exclude certain audio from the stream or VOD)?
I donât think so Iâm fairly new to streaming but when I do my game capture is delayed and my mic audio

I've got an Arctis headset as well. Set the Channels to Stereo and then downmix the Microphone to Mono in the Advanced Audio Settings for that device.
Are you only streaming, only recording, or both streaming and recording?
turn thdownmix on or off and im just trying to stream gameplay and talk over it
Turn on Downmix to Mono for your Microphone device in the Advance Audio Settings.
At Settings > Audio, set the Channels to Stereo.

There shouldn't be a delay. That's the most basic setup.

Once you end your stream, log out and log back in in Streamlabs Desktop. Did you perhaps change your Twitch channel name?

Since you have a custom domain, linking your discord allows the system to give toy the Ultra role which unlocks the VIP Support channel.
That channel is run by Streamlabs staff and they can assist you with your custom domain there.

Hello @gritty isle i realy dont understand what is going on. I tested it. Ive done everything you said. Logged in with my twitch acc. Put the chat on top. Put the chat,event list, alert box. Just dont do it. The only thing that does it is the border/theme. I dont understand the issue. And i wanna fix it can you please help me đ
Sadly, I'm about to leave my work for the day and won't be available for a few hours. So to confirm, you logged in the Streamlabs Console web site with your Twitch, connected the Streamlabs Widgets in the Account Settings, added the Chatbox, Event List and Alert Box in your Streamlabs Console project and enabled Use Streamlabs Settings and none of them work when you are live?

Hello all!
New to streaming and fairly knew to actually somewhat understanding computers... Anywaus I went from using OBS with no problems to Streamlabs after a litte looking around and really liked the widgets, especially the streamboss. I ended up seeing OBS plugin and downoaded that - it seemed to port over everything, I had to update some browser captures and the audio channels but one thing I can not figure out is why my webcam wont pull up on Streamlabs. At first it was on OBS without any problems, after research a tad bit, just quick googles and a couple youtube videos, I saw maybe I needed to allow Streamlabs permission to access my camera. I did that and it took down the webcam on OBS but changed nothing on Streamlabs. I restarted my computer and went to bed for the night, after now just getting sat down after the day it works on OBS again but still nothing from Streamlabs. Is there any clues? I do have screengrabs for reference if needed. Thank you to any and all in advance for any insight!

If you don't regularly use Cloudbot, it will toggle itself off in order to conserve resources. There's no way to prevent or change that. I'd add a step to your workflow to check Cloudbot as your starting your stream.

I spent 2 days trying to fix this. Apparently it seems possible a windows update caused this problem to occur more. I can 100% confirm that it's not a CPU Issue.
I used to use this a lot previously with a display capture source.
You can try using a game capture source but it still lagged for me
It's disappointing as Nvidia Broadcast works so good to replace or blur a background.

Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch.
NOTE đ This disconnect process will not go back and capture events that were missed. Events are sent over the API only once and if they are missed, they are missed forever. Going forward from once you reconnected by logging back in, Streamlabs should capture events from Twitch.

Hello. this morning a situation occurred that I am not able to start the stream on tiktok due to the fact that "I am banned", of course I checked it on my phone whether I actually have this restriction on tiktok BUT I don't have anything, yesterday my block ended and I had the stream running normally, today I checked it and it doesn't work anymore.

In Streamlabs Desktop, log out, wait a few minutes, and then log back in with your TikTok. I'd also go here https://www.tiktok.com/falcon/live_g/live_access_pc_apply/result/index.html?id=GL6399433079641606942&lang=en-US and confirm you have no restrictions on Live with Streamlabs. Live with TikTok Studio is a completely seperate permission and its possible to have one restricted but not the other.
I have a question about FiFine Ampligame stream deck. It says you can use streamlabs but I have not been able to figure out how to get it added into it and set up scenes and all that, I am hoping to get the loupedeck soon but trying to use this until then.

Yes, Live with TikTok Studio is a completely separate permission.
You would have to reach out to TikTok on that. TikTok alone approves or revokes access to Live with Streamlabs.
Live via TikTok Studio is a seperate permission.
Streamlabs has no input or view into why TikTok makes their decisions.

I was wondering if YouTube works when it's the only destination - this would allow me to narrow down if it's a multi-streaming issue or specific to YouTube.

I see, okay. I see you have a Streamlabs Ultra subscription, so I'd like to get you into our VIP Support channel for 1-on-1 support for this issue. Once it's linked, you can refresh Discord, and you should be able to access the VIP channel. Then one of our agents can open a thread for you and look into this further.

Cloudbot isn't a direct port of Chatbot. Yes, they do the same things have similar mini games. All the betting options are there in the screen shot you provided.
So you're asking how to make any one person always win?
the cloudbot's bet is different from the chatbot's, the logic is different.
I'll give you an example:
in the chatbot
payout 100%
Paul bet 100, if he gets it right he'll win 200
in the cloudbot
Reward Multiplier 1
Paul bet 100, if he gets it right he'll win 100
I can't explain the logic behind that behavior. I'm not the developer for either bot. I'd ask you to put in a ticket for clarification but with the ongoing Discord promotion, there is an extreme back log of tickets.
Well, what's the point of a guy betting 100 and only receiving the same 100 if he gets it right? Maybe no one ever warned the developer about this.
Change the Reward Multiplier.
I've already bet up to 100, but the guy only wins something if someone else bets on a different option than him.
Most of the time, everyone chooses the same option in the bet, so no one wins anything.

Yo guys, I need help with streaming on my PS4. So I use an Elgato HD60X to connect my Nintendo Switch to my PC to be able to stream using OBS studio and everything works. I tried to do the same with my PS4 but the console's screen become purple even though my OBS shows it clear. Can someone help me?

for some reason ever since i updated OBS my slobs like 2 months ago my alerts have been massively delayed. sometimes the sound wont show up for a couple of minutes but i know i dont have any selected delay (unless theirs been an SL update idk about)
When I'm LIVE & I switch from one scene to a video (like a commercial spot I recorder) scene streamlabs freezes up. Comp seems ok everything else works just Streamlabs locks up. Also for the loupedeck, I'm not seeing the option to redeem is that because I've not subscribed yet for 7 days?
I did a 40 minute stream last night and my vod on twitch showed it as 20 minutes with double speed but the audio was regular speed. Would this be a twitch issue or a streamlabs issue that could cause this? I did not have recording enabled for the stream and was relying on the VOD.
I haven't been able to find any posts online with someone having a similar issue

Is anyone else having issues using the Multistream key in OBS? I have never had issues with it until this week. It randomly started not working and I had to switch to just streaming to Twitch. I have re-entered the key, disabled Multistream and enabled it again and tried toggling off/on all of the platforms. Not sure what else to try besides opening a ticket. I also just noticed you can reset the stream key so I just tried that.
Yea that didn't do anything. OBS shows it uploading but nothing on the platforms.

Support helped me figure out it was the Kick connection causing none of them to work and re-linking it fixed it.

@hallow sapphire if you were using obs-studio, you could go back 1 version; a future obs-studio update will have it properly fixed, and i'm assuming streamlabs desktop will have ported the necessary changes in the next few days/weeks

@warped thistle install VLC if you haven't already, run VLC, go to media > open network stream..., try opening the URL, does it play in VLC?
Donât duplicate the URL on the Input Format line. Take out that URL.
and yes, the input format field probably expects a valid input, i don't know what it'll do if you intentionally specify something invalid, it might fail silently

@warped thistle add a "media file" source, untick "local file", paste the RTSP URL in the input field, leave the input format field empty, save settings, allow up to 4 seconds for video to start; if it doesn't, change input format to mpegts, save, see if that works

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
- This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
- Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.
Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

I'm currently still streaming to kick. (103hrs) and counting everything has been working fine for days now all of a sudden. my dashboard on stream labs has vanished. including my sources, scenes and audio mixer but my stream is still running and can be seen and everything can still be heard. what can i do?

@gritty isle @marble wind I feel like if I could somehow include the username & password after the IP address, it would get me to the camera stream ... but of course any combination comes up short. Is there a proper syntax to use after the IP address that would populate those? For instance "rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.0.160/stream0" But as soon as I put anything in front of the IP address it does not reach the login prompt

Auto does that for you, you don't have to manage that manually.

i just wanted to make follow and share alerts, and i made a browser source in streamlabs desktop and copied the link from tikfinity, however most of the time the scene appears to be offline and when it's online it just doesnt work

Hard to say. It should just start working once you change it. Some changes, like encoder, bitrate, etc require a stream stop and start to take effect.

Ah, that at the other end. I'd reach out to tikfinity for assistance. I've never used tikfinity so I don't have any suggestions for you. You add that URL in a browser source in Streamlabs Desktop? And doe they support Streamlabs Desktop. I see they say "OBS" there, but I take that as OBS Studio, which is a completely different product from Streamlabs Desktop. Yes, Streamlabs Desktop is built on the open source from OBS Studio so this should work in Streamlabs Desktop.

We don't have Alert Box integration with TikTok. I'm not sure of any method, sorry. Are you currently live on TikTok or are you not live? Maybe it only appears Ready when you're live?

Do you have Twitch or YouTube merged in your Streamlabs account? If so, have you streamed to Twitch or YouTube recently? If so, you could add our Alert Box via Browser Source then replay old alerts or just test alerts. If that works, then the issue you're having with tikfinity is not in Streamlabs Desktop.

That's not recommended as yeah, it would consume a lot of system resources. Splitting audio, sadly, is a lot of manual work.
Yes, you can replay old alerts from your Streamlabs Recent Events Page or test alerts from the Alert Box Widget page when you're not live.

Yes, just click to copy the Widget URL and then paste that URL in a Browser Source.
Don't paste in Discord or reveal that URL in a screen shot. Your Widget URL should be treated as confidential data.

Interesting. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Source and uncheck 'Enable browser source hardware acceleration', click Done to save the setttings, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and test the alerts again.

Interesting. Now take that Widget URL and paste it into the address bar on a blank web page and then test the alerts. You should see and hear the alerts in that web page.

Ah, you only have TikTok. Testing the Browser Source via alerts isn't going to work then. I would reach out to tikfinity for assistance.

If you have a YouTube channel, yes, you could merge it there then click you Profile Picture at the top left and switch over (on the web site) to that YouTube and then you will have more alerts you can test with.

Example: I set how to monitor the Behringer channel 1 source and when I close the software and reopen it I don't find source 1 but many random numbers (in fact the monitoring has changed).

Another question: it often happens to me that when I have many people in the chat (200/300) I have to update the chat because Youtube is no longer visible. Has this happened to others? is this a known problem?
How long does it take to get a answer?
If the device ID is now a long string of characters, that means Windows Update re-numerated your device ID's when it applied an update. You'll have to go back and set the exact device you want. This is due to Windows Update - its not a Streamlabs problem or or broke. There is no work around.

i dont think tikfinity is the preblem if even your alerts dont work

Please try clearing the cache for all time in Safari, then log out of the Streamlabs web site and log in with that YouTube and see if you can see test alerts in Streamlabs Desktop.
If not, please quit Streamlabs Desktop, change your default web browser to Firefox https://support.apple.com/en-us/102362, launch Stremlabs Deskto and test your alerts again.

Please clear the internet Streamlabs browser cache:
-Close Streamlabs Desktop and open a new Finder window.
-Copy Type ~/Library/Application Support.
-Click âGoâ then âGo to Folderâ, paste your copied text, and find the âslobs-clientâ folder.
-Find the 'Obs-browser" folder within the Slobs-client folder and remove/delete it
Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and test alerts again.
